Cannot see checkbox in item property

Dear All,
Our customer is on SAP8.8 PL19 now. They have an issue from SAP2007. When open item master data, property, he can only see 'property name'. He cannot see checkbox column. This is only an issue for his user. Any idea? I don't have any 3rd party add-on start.

Hi,
You can check the Note No. : 1224747 regarding the issue mentioned by you.
Please test the steps and the fix in the Copy of the database first. Also read the instructions which are mentioned on the PEQ wiki. The Link to the document for the instructions is in the Note no. : 1224747.

I'm attempting the use ChechBoxes in a RTF template to ultimately display in PDF. We cannot see the checkboxes in PDF. We're using BIP 10.1.3 on a standalone database. I have reviewed notes from: http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/2007/05/22 and followed those suggestions, but no difference. Reviewed the configuration notes 'Business Intelligence Publisher User's Guide (Release 10.1.3.2 Part No. B40017-01 pg:11-20)' {RTF Template Properties} for the 'rtf-checkbox-glyph' settings and tried 'Wingdings;253;254', 'Arial;253;254', and 'Albany;253;254'. I ensured Wingdings fonts were available in BI Publisher Enterprise (..\jdk\jre\lib\fonts). No help. I have tried the RTF checkbox,but will not display and tried a checkbox font which does not display properly in PDF. I'm open for more suggestions. I'm just not sure what to try next.

I tried this the wingdings box, but it did not work.
Steps used :-
First approach
1) File-> Properties->Custom, and using
Name: xdo-font.IDAutomationMICRB10.normal.normal
Value: truetype./usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType/IDAutomationMICRB10.ttf
method
2) made sure that the font is available under C:\windows\fonts
3) Also edited the xdo.cfg file to include the font ( this info is in the user guide)
4) Also saved the ttf files, ftp them to server side ...devora\..\jre11813\lib
Second approach
1) File->Properties-> Custom, using
rtf-checkboc-glyph
Second method worked on desktop. Did not work on the apps
First method did not work anywhere
Third approach
1) using either first /secpnd method File-> property defintion
2) Create file mapping in xml publisher admin
3) Could not attach the mapping set to the FO:Processor, it just did not bring up the file to attach in the "browse".
That's one I thought of buying the font. But need more proof that it could work that way.

Team members see projects, sprints, code, burndown chart, but cannot see backlog items (not even the tasks assigned to them)

I have a VS Online account (http://tec.visualstudio.com), I created it with my [email protected] ID, now I want to use it for the projects at the university I work for. My work ID is [email protected], and my jobmates use others...
The University has the MSDN Subscription and we have assigned permissions for it.
We can see some things in the projects but none of the users (except for the [email protected] ID) can see the baclog items and the boards...

Cannot see menu items on database home page after install of beta3

I have installed XE beta 3 in a Windows 2000 SP4 VM. Install went fine and I can get to the home page without issue. However, I cannot see the items when I use the pulldown menus. If I move the mouse cursor over them, it is possible to select although I dotn know what I am selecting!
Has anyone experienced this problem, or does anyone have any idea what is causing it?

I am running VMware Workstation 5.5 for Windows XP.
I have a Windows 2000 VM established, with SP4 applied.
The VM is running IE 5. I have no other browsers installed. I am not able to install XE anywhere else at present, due to resource limitations.
Just wondering if anyone else has had this issue. Next week I will install onto a "real" Windows 2000 environment, but would like to get this one working sooner than that.

Back up all data now.
This procedure will unlock all your user files (not system files) and reset their ownership and access-control lists to the default. If you've set special values for those attributes on any of your files, they will be reverted. In that case, either stop here, or be prepared to recreate the settings if necessary. If none of this is meaningful to you, you don't need to worry about it.
Step 1
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Terminal in the page that opens.
Drag or copy — do not type — the following line into the Terminal window, then press return:
sudo chflags -R nouchg,nouappnd ~ $TMPDIR.. ; sudo chown -R $UID:20 ~ $_ ; chmod -R -N ~ $_
Be sure to select the whole line by triple-clicking anywhere in it. You'll be prompted for your login password, which won't be displayed when you type it. You may get a one-time warning not to screw up. You don't need to post the warning. If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before you can run the command.
The command will take a noticeable amount of time to run. Wait for a new line ending in a dollar sign (“$”) to appear, then quit Terminal.
Step 2
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at startup. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
When the OS X Utilities screen appears, select Utilities ▹ Terminal from the menu bar. A text window opens.
In the Terminal window, type this:
resetpassword
That's one word with no spaces. Then press return. A Reset Password window opens. You’re not going to reset a password.
Select your boot volume if not already selected.
Select your username from the menu labeled Select the user account if not already selected.
Under Reset Home Directory Permissions and ACLs, click the Reset button.
Select  ▹ Restart from the menu bar.

Hello Schimi. The Time Capsule is a kind of product that offer you two possibility:
- To use the TC as a router or as an external HD.

Settings>General>Accessibility>Increase Contrast
Settings>General>Accessibility>Bold Text
are some settings that may help.
There are other settings there ...they may not be to your liking but try them all anyways.
But that's about all you can do for now...except to voice your opinion to Apple here:

Cannot See ITC Zapf Dingbat Item

I am converting all of my files from CS2 - CS3.3 MAC to PC CS3.3. I have a dingbat that I used to be able to see. But now every file I open for the first time in CS3.3 PC, I cannot see my dingbat. I have to type it in AGAIN to see the item.
I have tried bring to front, send the others to back, changing the color. I am able to retype in the letter that makes it the Star that I need, but I have to do that on ALL my artwork. But mainly it icks me off that it is doing this when it obviously recognizes the item as a ITC Zapf Dingbat, and since I have that font installed on my computer.
Attached is the Dingbat, not visible, but you can see that Illustrator recognizes it.

It is an Open Type.
And to try and prevent issues, I converted all of my MAC fonts to PC compatible fonts, especially since there were tons of fonts that I used for Graphics design work on the MAC that were not available on PC without spending $$$$$$ to get an Adobe font library.
I am just confused why AI seems to see it just dfine and recognize that it is Zapf Dingabat, it doesn;'t come up with some weird font info, and it gets the correct color of it. So if it can see all of the info related to the font I do not understand why as soon as I retype it, using the same converted font it comes out just fine. I am unfortunately one of those people that needs to know why, even though I know how to fix it.

Cannot see transported items in Queue, even after releasing them.

I cannot see transported items in Queue, even after releasing them. When Iam in transaction: SE09, I am able to see all the released objects, and the check marks next to each one which looks good...Where are these files? Under usr/sap/trans, they show up under logs with nothing in them except log data...Not in Cofiles & datafiles either.
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Our developer released them, and I will get more details from him. We can see them when in SE09/10. Just cannot see them in the import queue? Also can't find the files under: usr/sap/trans, except the logs???
We just want to find these files, and either zip them up, or put them on a CD for later use, and this project will wind down soon.
Any other suggestions on how we can find these files, as all exports normally show up in usr/sap/trans/data, and cofiles...but not in this case???.

I accidently knocked some keys on the keyboard and firfox is now lost at the top of the screen, I cannot see menu items if I push the curser up some of the top appears on my screen but not all please can you help me?

I accidently knocked some keys on my keyboard. I do not know which keys my hand knocked but it caused Firefox to go beyond my visible screen at the top. The base of Firefox is still okay and views correctly. But the head is missing I cannot access my menus items such as Bookmarks etc. The screen does drop down if I push my curser up but not enough to show the menu items. Can you please help?

Cannot see items move when dragged

All of a sudden I cannot see objects move when dragged in Photoshop CC Mac. They wind up in a new position when dragged but I just can't see them move as I drag them. This would seem to be a preference but do not know where to change it.

Link BP Property to Item Property

Hi,
In order to restrict the items a customer (BP) can purchase in the Sales Order module I want to link properties in the BP to propeties in the Item group.
I.e BP property 30 may indicate access to items with item property = 5.
My intention was to name the BP property with the same name as the linked item property, they cannot be link on a one to one basis(that is BP property 1 does not equal item property 1).
Therefore, I wanted to add a UDF field (OCQG.U_ItemsTypCod) of the BP properties table that would have the item property (OITG.ItmsTypCod) number.
I could then use SBO_TransNotification to verify that the Customer has been authorised to buy the particular item.
I however cannot see how to add a field to the OCQG table.
Could any help me on this issue.

Hi Eric,
Do you have one to one relationship between coding from two property tables? If you do, the udf may not be needed since the maximum match is countable. Or make an UDT or save all match pairs.
