Cannot see CSCto65299 in bug toolkit

I was provided with bug CSCto65299 in a support case recently and was told the bug was public, but the bug toolkit says it is not.
Is this bug public or is it not?

The defect should be visible. The bug is updated and will appear within 48 hours.
The issue is fixed in the CCO code for 4.1.1.

CSCsr27209 is not visible to me in the Bug Toolkit

The Cisco 887V supposed to support ADSL2/ADSL2+ & VDSL2 Automatic.
Also in the "Cisco 860,880 and 890 Configuration Guide", it says that Cisco 887V can be setup to connect to the ADSL via the ATM0 interface. As you can see in the example over here:

But none of that really happened.
It seems that there is a fundamental bug with these devices that make it impossible to connect to the ADSL2 / ADSL2+ via the VDSL2 controller.

I cannot see XMLType table in sql*plus

Hi,
Although I have wokred extensively with Oracle, I am new to Oracle XMLdb. My problem is I cannot see the XMLType tables created under my schema. I can see the tables when I do a select from user_xml_tables. But if I do a 'desc' or 'select from', I get ORA-04043 or ORA-00942. I can desc an XMLType table owned by xdb. I am using Oralce 10g. Please provide a solution asap as a customer is waiting on this.

Is there a site FIOS users can check to see if there "bug" is known/being worked/etc?

I share the frustations many have listed on this board about FIOS TV and the IMG.
We joined FIOS in an early test market, so I remember when Verizon was just using the "default IMG" rather than "creating their own". When Verizon rolled out their first version of their own IMG, it was a huge step backwards from the version that came standard on the cable box (I believe it was Microsoft). Since they started "building" their own, long-time users have been frustrated that we have yet to get back to the quality level that we had without Verizon's "help".
So, everytime they download a major release (without warning any of us) and scrambling the channel lineup, I wind up discovering what they fixed and what they left broken. Inevitably, I call in with various problems to see if they know about the problem or not. Tragically, depending on who you talk to, you get different answers.
The last call I made was about the fact that some channels cannot be added to "Favorites 1" and other channels cannot be removed from "Favorites 1". When I called the first time, the rep told me "hmmm... that shouldn't be happening, I've never heard of that", but her solutions didn't fix the problem. So I called again, and this time the rep said "Oh, yeah, we know... there is no fix... we are working on it". This problem has been around since Verizon took control of the IMG, and the fact that they haven't fixed it is just something I have gotten used to (my expectations are VERY low for any products supported by a company the size of Verizon -- who hide behind the WORST voice help system I have ever hung up on).

For the more sophisticated users, who do not need yet another refresh of our box to confirm the bug we have discovered in your IMG releases, is there any way for us to see an acknowledged "bug list" online to save us the frustration of navigating the FIOS Help Line (multiple times to get a real answer from a knowledgeable CSR who is not just going through the checklists)?
I would appreciate the fact that you KNOW there are problems and that you are working on them in a list of "known problems" that I can check easily.
This forum is a great start to helping the community, but it would be nice if users could find the answer without having to wait for acknowledgement from Verizon.

I agree with the above posts, it would be great to have a place with a list of already known problems, and a way for those of us with the time and interest to participate in making the FiOS experience better. Several thoughts:
1) Send a PM to a moderator here asking to participate in a test, or asking for improvements to the Forum. I have done that, some of the improvements I suggested have occurred (thanks Kathleen and CharlotteS), hoping more will; it can't hurt. And I understand my request to be a beta tester has been forward to development. At least one poster put that kind of request in a forum post and I think his was also forwarded.
2) Go to the following Verizon Products Trial site and sign up to test new things: https://www36.verizon.com/MM/Protected/TestTrack/SignIn.aspx. No guarantees, not much on the site right now, but if you sign up you might get to participate in the future.
3) Consider using the Verizon Direct forum at http://www.dslreports.com to report problems rather than the FSC (or after a frustrating experience with the FSC). You have to be a registered user to post in that forum, but I have had a good experience using it. Verizon employees monitor the forum and respond, and only they and you can see the details of your and their posts (one of the things I have suggested to the moderators here is something like Verizon Direct here).
I am retired, I have time to put into an effort to improve FiOS TV. Plus I have quite a bit of experience in testing new computer hardware and software before announcment and/or delivery to customers (IBM), so I think I could help (and I really don't think I could hurt it...). Plus in two more days I will have had FiOS TV for three full years, I have gone through all of the good (and a little bad.....) along the way.

Cannot see instrument in EXS folder

Hi,
I cannot see the Vienna strings I have recently bought in Logic 8 EXS.
The install has gone fine, I have rebooted and repaired disc permissions.
The VSL samples are in the following location Library/Application Support/Logic/Sampler Instruments/Vienna Strings
I simply cannot work out why I cannot see the files.
The files are listed with the .dat extension. Should this be altered? I would have thought the install would be easier than this.
Your thoughts are very welcome as I really am out of ideas.

That thread is to do with where samples should be put, & under what circumstances they can be moved.
Now, have you installed these samples in +Library/Application Support… etc.+ or in +Users/(your name)/Library/Application Support… etc.?+
It sounds as if your installation was done correctly, so perhaps you should visit the manufacturer's website & see if they have any known issues or bug reports to do with these samples & Logic. I would also like to know what format the files themselves are actually in. I don't suppose they're still in archives, waiting to be decompressed, are they? No wacky characters in the filenames or folder structure?

There are some bugs that can cause this issue. If you are adding long, smooth scrolling pages (ie 1024x3000) and performing a "New" to add the page from the Folio Builder Panel versus using the "Import" command, this issue can be caused.
As the previous posted said, you need to either have all horizontal, all vertical, or all horizontal and all vertical pages. You cannot have a mix of both. If there is a fundamental error with your folio, it iwll not be available in the viewer.

SQL Developer - Cannot see list of tables in my connection

Hi - when I downloaded and started to use the SQL developer tool, once I connected, I could see all of the tables/columns in my connection on the left side of the tool, and I had my query panel, results panel, and SQL history stacked on the right. Suddenly something has changed, and I cannot see the list of tables, etc. in my connection anymore, so I have to rely on memory and SQL history to remember the table and column names. It has to be "hidden" somehow, but view-connections does not help, and trying to click and drag windows doesn't uncover it either.
Any suggestions?

I've been trying the version 2 beta though and it has quite a few bugs in. Table browsing is working fine for me, but all my functions and procedures have disappeared from the tree view. It does odd things with code formatting too.
I don't think it will be supplanting trusty old command line SQL Plus for me yet any time soon...

Cannot see photos

I have a bit of a problem with my aperture library, probably something silly I did, but would appreciate some advice.
Here is the situation, something happened, I clicked restore masters (or something like that), and then aperture spend the night playing around with my 30k pics. In the morning I looked and they were all there, comments, stars etc, all there, phew. But, whereas before, all of the folders and such were inside the single aperture file thingee (the one you need to click specially to open), now they are individual folders in my pictures folder, while the aperture file is now much smaller. It looks as if aperture, for reasons it is not divulging, moved the folders out into the os ?
I don't mind this as such, but I would prefer it all back where it was.
My second question, again probably something silly I did. I can see my pics in their projects, in the albums, in the os folders, but I cannot see the photos when I click the photos option, the one under the library list at the top of the left hand menu. I really would like to see these photos.
Can anyone help me with either of these things? Much appreciated.

You probably clicked "Relocate Masters". This has moved the Masters of all of your images to a location outside your Library. To return these Masters to inside your Library, in Aperture select all images and click "File→Consolidate Master ... ". Full instructions are in the User Manual. When asked, specify that you want to move the files, not copy them.
2.
This is a known bug, but an easy fix was found by super-helpful forum regular Frank Caggiano.
As a general note: Aperture is very powerful, and puts that power within easy reach. It is not a program in which you want to execute commands without knowing exactly what they do. A great way to learn how to use it, though, is to set up a practice Library containing copies of a few hundred images.

Cannot See Remote Speakers

Downloaded version 6 and can no longer see my remote speakers. Wife has an iBook and it sees the remote speakers so I know our wireless LAN is OK. I've disabled my Firewall and restarted my router and airport express and still cannot see the speaker selection box.
Any thoughts?

Yep, all that checks out. I can stream music to the speakers from my iBook just fine, but the PC Desktop (with the big, fat hard drive filled with all our music) doesn't work as well. The PC won't see the external speakers. Running iTunes from the iBook, I can "see" the PC's music collection, but it only works for, say, ten to fifteen minutes and then the iBook "loses" the PC's music collection.
The PC is connected to an Airport Express for it's internet connection. The internet keeps working fine, so I know it's not a range issue. If I hard-connect the PC with an ethernet cable to the main Airport, I suspect it will work fine (haven't tried that since moving this summer, but it worked that way in the old place). Also, if I reset all the Airport Express components, essentially rebuilding the wireless network, then I suspect the PC will "see" the speakers for a short while and then lose them again. Haven't tried that in a few months, when I last got disgusted with the issue.
From what I read on here I suspect it's a bug with iTunes for Windows. Is there any way to send a bug report to Apple?

Cannot see text selection on Mac

Hi,
I cannot see text selection on a paragraph when performed text select by holding 'Shift + Arrow' key or 'Command + A' with Type tool. Sometimes text selection doesn't work. This is happening with Adobe Illustrator CS6 on Mac (Maverick OS). Looks like a bug in Illustrator CS6. Need help in resolving it.

Ipad cannot see wireless network

Hi, I have a wireless network using several Cisco 1131AG wireless access points. I have several Mac computers that see the wireless SSID and connect to the internet wirelessly. However, Ipads and Iphones don't see the wireless network. They cannot see the SSID at all. I have tried ipad 2, iphone 4 and 5. The network is not secured at this point. Any help with this would be appreciated.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app

    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

While installing Clusterware cannot see raw shared partitions

I have made 4 extended logical drives from EMC shared storage to be visible from my two nodes on 64bit windows 2003 server. During Clusterware installation while selecting the disks for OCR and Voting file, I cannot see the raw shared volumes.
The following is the output of cluvfy utility for component shared storage accessibility,

Verification of shared storage accessibility was unsuccessful on all the nodes.
I also get exectask.exe encounter a problem and needed to close meassage aswell.

The issue is resolved. I formatted the shared disks with NTFS file system. Then deleted the partition and recreated extended logical volumes and now the shared storage is accessible from the clusterware instalation for the selection of ocr and voting files.
#cluvfy comp ssa -n node1,node2
The above command on 64bit win2003 servers gives error. This is due to bug 6007675. Base Bug number is 4714708. So the solution is to continue with the installation and ignore the error message.

Cannot see aim contact

Hi,
Before Mountain Lion and iMessage, I could see my AIM (legacy iChat) contacts in my list of contacts when they were online. With Messages, it does not appear to be working anymore. I have both a iMessage account (that works fine with my MBP, iPhone and iPad) and a AIM account in messages, but I only can see my iMessages contacts online.
I can chat with them, if I send a new message, but I cannot see if they are only or not. Just bugging me for a while...

The Menu bar Drop down does tend to focus on the Buddy lists (if you have several it will display Buddies from all of them)
It can be difficult to spot Jabber Buddies (GoogleTalk and Facebook if you have many more AIM Buddies)
Or it can be changed to show Bonjour Buddies
This pic does actually contain both AIM and Jabber Buddies (3 out of the 6 "Ralph" ones are Jabber and one Buddy also has two Jabber IDs making only 5 in the list)
As you can see I don't update My Status Messages that often.
I had also forgotten that in Messages the middle tab in an AIM account's settings is now marked "Privacy" and not Security as it was in iChat.
The Allow Specific People can end up blocking large numbers of your List if your only test a few Names here.
