Cannot see my purchased music in the left hand pane.

I have moved my itunes library to a new computer but cannot see my purchased music in the left hand pane. Can I still download it.

If you want to do file tranfers, you want to use File Sharing in iTunes is that correct? If that is correct, you have to have apps that support file sharing or they will not appear in the file sharing window.
You have to scroll down a bit in order to see the file sharing window in iTunes.
However, your post is a little bit confusing. I'm assuming that you are talking about iTunes. Some detailed information would certainly help.

Go to the iTunes Store and select "Purchased" from the Quick Links side bar on the right. Go through all the tabs to download again for free

I, am now getting annoyed with i-cloud. I had an express lane discussion with your support group earlier this morning after discovering that the cloud icon wasn't next to music in the left hand side bar.

I, have spent considerable time trying to connect my i-pod touch wirelessly with no success untill I saw on the i-tunes store tab that my i-tunes match was not turned on. I clicked to turn it on and I was asked to add this computer which I have already done. I talked to the Apple support group and they talked me through the set up through add this computer again! But sure enough it worked I had the cloud icon next to music in the left hand side bar and in the store tab i-tune match was turned on and everything seemed to be working.
I, looked again less than half an hour later and i-tunes match was turned off again. I began to turn it on again and now I get asked to pay the i-cloud subscription. How is this resolved?

HHow in the **** am I supposed to read my next email when I don't want to put my previous one. Somewhere and why can't I see on the left hand side all my emails for viewing I don't want to receive some and delete ASAP but all I getting is a full view of the next one

If you're talking about the built-in Mail on the ipad - you will always see the mailbox list in landscape view (ie turn your ipad sideways). In portrait view, you should be able to see the Inbox link at the top left of the screen if it's hidden.

In the app manager, I can see a snapshot of my homescreen and apps in the right hand pane but I cannot access or even search for my apps in the left hand pane.

Just as it says above, I cannot do any file transfers in iTunes for apps as the apps simply don't appear and are unsearchable. I am using an iPad 4 and the most recent iTunes, how can I resolve this?

HT1399 I just downloaded the newest version of itunes, and when I connect my ipod nano (3rd gen), I can no longer see my playlists (on the left hand side). I hate the new format...any way to revert back to the old one?

The answer was click View > Show sidebar. Devices and playlists will display in the left sidebar once again.

Seeking to restore a selection "desktop" in the left-hand column

Getting 'help' is consistantly hard. This is another case where Help should be easy to an quick to find under "help" troubleshooting in iPhoto. In order to get to this support community I must first get a new apple password because i most certainly did not forget the current one, having recently been forced to make a new password on these dates 9/18/13 - 11/1/13 - 11/30/13 - 1/27/14 - and again today 2/24/14 each time writing down the new forced password as I did the with the dates as you can see. Leaving open the question What is a password?
Next seeking help is also needlessly difficult because I cannot cut and paste the question from previous failed attempts to get help instead having to retype each time. The original question I am after is:
Using iPhoto The selection 'Desktop' went missing from where it has been on the left side column under the title 'Library'. This choice 'desktop' is the item I use the most. Looking under 'Help' I see there is a way to delete but no way to restore or create the selection Desktop which opened a screen showing the current contents of my desktop for further selections.

Are you referring the the Desktop entry in the left hand pane of a Finder window?
as there is no Desktop item in the left hand pane of iPhoto and never has been.

How can I create a document with two columns in which the text in the left hand column flows to the left column on page 2,3 etc, and doesn't interfere with the text I want to place in the right? Pages 5.

I'm using pages 5 and want to comment in a right hand column, on a (latin) text which I wish to place in a left hand column.
Ideally I'd like to be able to copy and paste the latin text and see it flow over into the left hand column on multiple pages.
At the moment it is impossible for me to keep the text only in the left hand column Any help!?

Columns do what columns do, flow from the bottom of the left hand column to the top of the right hand next column. So won't do what you want.
Your tag says you are using OS X 10.5.8 but you say you are using Pages 5 so one or the other is not correct.
If you migrated up to Pages 5 what did you do with your previous Pages '08 or '09?
Because Pages 5 is missing over 100 features, one of which is Textbox linking, that would allow to flow down through a series of Textboxes set up like columns.
What you can do is run the Latin text down a narrow document to the left and add individual Textboxes to the right and put your English translations in those. The Latin will flow but the English will not.

RoboHelp V8 - TOC not showing in left hand pane

Using RoboHelp for HTML version 8, I am publishing to my local hard drive.
In the source files, I can see a table of contents, but when the output is generated, the TOC doesn't appear.
We have used RoboHelp for many many years and the TOC and Index and search would appear in the output. In IE, I have to click the button to allow blocked content, and the TOC still doesn't appear. It is blank in the left hand pane.
Any suggestions?

Dismissing left hand pane

When reading mail in the vertical position in the iPad you can close the left-hand pane fill the screen with just the email message but I can't find a way to do this in the horizontal orientation which I find very annoying. Am I missing something or is there no way to do this? Are we stuck with a left hand pane, like it or not in the horizontal orientation?

Thanks, but I don't understand. My question had nothing to do with deleting emails which appears to be the subject of the thread to which you directed me. I spent about 5 minutes on that page and saw nothing about dismissing the left hand lane when the iPad is horizontal. How to do that was the essence if my question.

The app is not telling you that you need 9.1 on your iPad.
It does not use iTunes on the iPad for anything.
I'm trying to figure the version on my iPad.
It is the version that comes with your specific iOS firmware version.
But again, it is irrelevant to the app.
If you just got the iPad, it (the iPad) requires iTunes 10.4 on your computer.

When I sign in, while I can see all my music in the iTunes library, when I tried to 'sync', I have lost all my music in my iPod and I now have my wife's library on there instead.
I subscribed to iTunes Match, thinking that this would help. It hasn't and I'm not happy!

Cannot play my purchased music

I have a power mac G4 and recently upgraded to I Tunes 7.2.3 and ever since I cannot play my purchased music (keeps unexpectally quitting) but my album downloads play fine. I am running osx10.3.9. Has anyone experienced this and might you have a solution?

I am in my iTunes application and when I press the link to connect to the iTunes Store, it starts churning, and churning, but never connects. It has churned for hours and when I finally click the "X" to close it, I get error code 11222.

Cannot transwer new purchased music to ipod on new computer

We have a new computer that we cannot sync our new music purchased today to our ipod. We installed and syncd itunes 2 months ago when we got the computer, but I think this is the first time we have tried to purchase items on it. I say 'we' as this is my mom and dads issue.
They originally shared an apple ID. Apple ID 1 was linked to the ipod. Then they needed their own IDs so apple ID2 was created and the IPod was synced to it as that is the account inwhich new content would be purchased. Apple ID1 stayed the same. The new music we bought was on AppleID2. All music shows in previously purchased. It also shows under library/music. We cannot get the newly purchased music onto the IPod. We hit sync and it does not update the new music. I can not drag and drop it on the ipod or in the playlist which it is intended for. I deleted the music and downloaded it again and its still the same issue. i signed on to apple ID1 and still could not move the content on to the ipod.
IPod touch generation model MC086LL ios 4.2.1
I do not know what Itunes they are using but I assume its up to date on a 2 month old computer that didnt ask to be update upon load up.
