Cannot see pdf or xml option in Broadcaster in BI7

Hi All ,
I am having an issue where I cannot see the PDF option or XMl option in the Broadcaster.We are currently on BI 7 and just upgraded to SP12.Can anybody help me?

Hi Aditya,
When I open the query on web browser it opens the query and i am able to get the exact result on web.But with Bex analyzer, I suppose you dont really see the option of distribution of query through broadcaster Right? You can only a distribute a workbook using a broadcaster.

This is normal... that mean your task profile for "BPCUser" doesn't offer the possibility to perform Administration tasks.
You should take a look to the Security Guide, in order to see if Primary Administrator or Secondary Administrator could be assigned to your users.

But in any case, the problem only comes from a task profile that doesn't allow Admin tasks.

Cannot see USB call recording option on SPA525G2 connected to UC560

Cannot see USB call recording option on SPA525G connected to UC560. Phone is configured to use SCCP (not SIP). Firmware version downloaded to phone is 7.5.2c. Software pack 8.6.2 installed on UC560.
Can you please advise if USB Call Recording fuction is possible with this phone and UC560? If so, how do I configure this?

Hi I dont think it is a ethernet/wireless issue - wireless on XP laptop works in other networks and in fact can connect to TC router - I am just not seeing the TC when I use Airport on the Windows XP machine.
Taking a different approach - I have been able to set up a local pinter on the XP laptop using an IP port that points to the USB printer connected to the TC and this works.
I am still intrigued as to why Airport on XP cannot see the TC however the workaround is fine

ADE: i cannot see PDF inside an ePub

I have a ePub ebook with XHTML and PDF content. The strange thing is that in ADE I cannot see the PDF references.
If I open the same ePub with Calibre the PDF referenced within the ePub are opened outside with the PDF reader.
What is the mistake?

Leaving Firefox, PITA, cannot see PDF files. Works on IntExp. Help too hard to find!

Firefox doesn't turn off when X out and when I try to open another tab says it is still running. Have to shut down and reboot to move ahead. Also PDF files show black. PDF files show fine on IntExp.
It is simply not worth it to continue with Firefox.

There needs to be a way in Safari (or in Acrobat or Windows) to say "if you download a PDF file from Safari, launch Acrobat and open that file."
I'm not on a Windows machine to check at the moment, but in the Mac version you can set in the Safari preferences an option to 'Open safe files after downloading'. I wouldn't be surprised if this were missing from the Windows version though due to the additional security implications this could have on Windows. There is no ability to configure different files types to be opened by specific applications from within Safari, unlike Firefox for example.
You can however open files simply by double clicking the icon in the Downloads window that Safari pops up when a download occurs.
... how I tell Apple there needs to be an option to allow Safari to push streamed or downloaded file types to their correct creator application?

Downloaded AA Pro trial version on my MAC it expired, I uninstalled it and I still cannot see pdf's

Can someone help? I downloaded Adobe Acrobat Pro for a free trial on my MAC and realized how expensive it was and decided not to buy it. I was unable to open up pdf documents so I uninstalled the Pro and now I can open pdf that are in my "documents" but some of the professional publications that I subscribe to have a web version of the publiation in a web pdf format and all I'm getting is a black screen. Any thoughts suggestions? I feel like AA has taken my computer hostage. It shouldn't be like this! Help??? Thanks in advance!

Cannot see context menu for XML messages with Safari and Google Chrome

Hi All,
I am unable to see Context menu with the option of Create, Edit, Delete etc. for KM messages. This problem persists with Safari, Chrome and IE9 browsers. This thing works fine on IE7 and IE8 browesrs.
On clicking History and Options buttondoesn't perform any action i.e. we cannot see the list of options when clicking on those. This problem also persists with the above mentioned browsers.
Also, with IE9 , I am unable to create New message when clicking on New button. The XML form doesnt open on the button click.
The portal version I am using is EP 7.0.
Can someone help me out with this?

Cannot see status of sudden motion sensor ( imac 5,1 )

Im using logic 9 and ive fitted a new hard drive to my imac i keep getting a warning notice in logic that the sudden motion sensor may be parked however when i open terminal to try and determine the status of the sensor eg: to turn it off i cannot see the sms status option so i do not know if the sensor is on or even if i have one at all. can anybody help me with this thanks.

iMacs don't have a Sudden Motion Sensor.
Apple uses a Sudden Motion Sensor only in their portable Macs Apple Portables: About the Sudden Motion Sensor and Apple Portables: Advanced tips for Sudden Motion Sensor
Plus 3.5" harddisks used/fitted in an iMac don't have Sudden Motion Sensors to my knowledge.
To be sure check the product details of the harddisk you fitted in your iMac.

Cannot see "Portable Document Format" under Options Applications ?

I was regularly using Foxit PDF reader plugin to view pdf files inside Firefox browser before the pdfjs plugin came through. After that I have disabled the pdfjs plugin (through about:config) and tried many ways to get back to viewing pdfs in the browser using the Foxit plugin but nothing works.
I have reinstalled Firefox, reinstalled the Foxit pdf plugin.
When I go to Options > Options > Applications,
I cannot see the "Portable Document Format" option on the left column.
There is Adobe Acrobat Forms and XML and there is "Foxit Reader Document" (presumably PDF) and "Foxit Reader FDF Document" - I want to change those opening actions to Foxit inside Firefox, but there is no such option either - so Firefox can just download the file and then open in the external Foxit reader, but not inside it.
Any help to resolve this is appreciated.

You can't see the PDF under Options -> Applications because you disabled pdf.js in about:config (I think you set pdfjs.disabled to "true", right?)
If you go again to about:config and set pdfjs.disabled to "false" you'll see the PDF option again! To change how you view it just click on the spinner on the right. If you have the Foxit PDF reader plugin installed you'll see that in the list of available applications.

And please, don't use about:config to change your preferences, it can be dangerous: it's preferable to change them from Options.

Cannot See CheckBoxes in PDF.

I'm attempting the use ChechBoxes in a RTF template to ultimately display in PDF. We cannot see the checkboxes in PDF. We're using BIP 10.1.3 on a standalone database. I have reviewed notes from: http://blogs.oracle.com/xmlpublisher/2007/05/22 and followed those suggestions, but no difference. Reviewed the configuration notes 'Business Intelligence Publisher User's Guide (Release 10.1.3.2 Part No. B40017-01 pg:11-20)' {RTF Template Properties} for the 'rtf-checkbox-glyph' settings and tried 'Wingdings;253;254', 'Arial;253;254', and 'Albany;253;254'. I ensured Wingdings fonts were available in BI Publisher Enterprise (..\jdk\jre\lib\fonts). No help. I have tried the RTF checkbox,but will not display and tried a checkbox font which does not display properly in PDF. I'm open for more suggestions. I'm just not sure what to try next.

I tried this the wingdings box, but it did not work.
Steps used :-
First approach
1) File-> Properties->Custom, and using
Name: xdo-font.IDAutomationMICRB10.normal.normal
Value: truetype./usr/openwin/lib/X11/fonts/TrueType/IDAutomationMICRB10.ttf
method
2) made sure that the font is available under C:\windows\fonts
3) Also edited the xdo.cfg file to include the font ( this info is in the user guide)
4) Also saved the ttf files, ftp them to server side ...devora\..\jre11813\lib
Second approach
1) File->Properties-> Custom, using
rtf-checkboc-glyph
Second method worked on desktop. Did not work on the apps
First method did not work anywhere
Third approach
1) using either first /secpnd method File-> property defintion
2) Create file mapping in xml publisher admin
3) Could not attach the mapping set to the FO:Processor, it just did not bring up the file to attach in the "browse".
That's one I thought of buying the font. But need more proof that it could work that way.

Pdf with filled in field that I cannot see...

I've a pdf file where the highlight fields are filled in, but that I cannot see untill I click on the field.?
Is there an option to see the values in the highlight fields?

Hi, unfortunately, I have the same problem: After installing Adobe Reader 10.1 on my MacBook 3,1 OS 10.6.8, printing pdf-files is impossible as the printer options / preference page is not shown anymore. I have reinstalled AR 10.1, I have reinstalled Snow Leopard, I have reinstalled AR 10.1 without success. Only once, there was a hint by AR: "internal problem, lack of ressource file". Other files (preview, MS word, etc.) print without problems. I would be glad to receive a hint how to solve this problem.

Cannot see text in large PDF file

Hi all,
I've searched Google and these forums, but I have yet to find anything relating to my issue.
I'm trying to view a PDF file, but I cannot see any text in Adobe Reader.
I've viewed it w/ the FoxIt reader, and I can see all text there.
Any idea as to what the problem w/ Adobe reader is?
I have the most up-to-date version of the reader.

I downloaded PDF to I books, went back to store now the screen is blank, cannot see library

I downloaded PDF to iBooks, tried to back to store and the screen went blank . Cannot see or access iBook library .

Quit the iBooks app completely and reset your iPad.
To close an app, drag the app up from the multitasking display. Double tap the home button and you will see apps lined up going left to right across the screen. Swipe to get to iBooks the app then swipe "up" on the app preview thumbnail to close it.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.

Cannot see Airport Express as an Audio Output option!

Hello All,
Very frustruating.
I bought an AirPort Express hoping to use it as a Audio output device for movies/spotify etc.
Plugged it all in to my reciever (using optical cable) configured it to my TC network.
Opened itunes and the Airplay function is working perfectly. Music is streaming as expected.
However i cannot see the AE in the audio output options (when i "option+click" the speaker icon).
Tearing my hair out as this was the primary reason for purchasing the AE!
any help would be greatly apprecaited.

Trying to play movies through VLC and stream the Audio component to my AirPort express. Similary use Spotify on my computer and stream the audio component.
I thought i would be able to enable my laptop (Macbook Air) to use the Airport Express as its 'speakers' through selecting it as the output source in System preferences.
However it does not show up in the system preferences at all, what has me stumped is the Airport Express is 100% functional through itunes as well as some third party applications (Airfoil).
Im very confused as other users (from extensive google searching) appear to be able to atleast see the AirPort Express as an output device.
Any help greatly appreciated.
