Cannot see received messages in Mail

I have a strange problem with Mail that arose after I deleted some messages.
The mailboxes toolbar (the one down the side) clearly indicates that unread messages are in my In Box. However, they do not appear when I try and open the In Box. I have tried sending test messages to myself and Mail indicates they have arrived, but I cannot see them in the main menu.
Any suggestions out there before I delete the account and recreate?

Thank you for the suggestion.
I actually went to the Mail folder in Library and found the account had an Inbox folder unlike my other accounts. I deleted this folder, quit Mail and reopened Mail - problem solved.
I am not sure what happened, but as this account was receiving more than 25% spam I am now prompted to deleted and create a new account.

a successful automount of the other mini cd gives me

Sending and receiving messages has absolutely no relation at all to sending and receiving email.
Your iPad is not a cellular telephone. It cannot send or receive SMS text messages. It can only send or receive iMessages, which are messages to/from other Apple devices (only) on a WiFi or a cellular network that supports iMessage.

-I am using build: 9A406
-One funny thing I want to add too: when I put the iPhone in the Apple dock and connect it with my PC, I open iTunes and select my phone. There you can see the build, software version,.. But after telephonenumber it says N/A: not applicable.. Something I only just noticed. I'm pretty sure my number was displayed back in Nov. when I first got my iPhone 4S.
And the very last thing: Most of the time I have a very good signal, 4 out of 5 bars. It is only rarely that I have only 1 or 0 bars.

Cannot see email messages in one of my accounts

I can see other messages from other accounts in my email on my imac except for one account. It shows that I have messages but I cannot view them. I went into preferences and shows that they are alos on server. What's happening that i can't see the message?

Maybe I lack basic common sense, but I believe my Mail app should've displayed an alert message to the effect of +"Warning! Your storage in this mailbox is approaching 1 GB, and will therefore soon take an unexpected dump!"+
I'm SOOOOO glad to regain access to all of that data. Every bit of correspondence between myself, the site's owner, our host, the sponsors, and our visitors...for the past TEN YEARS!
I may even be able to sleep again, tonight.

PC users cannot see my sent e-mail photos?

Why is it that when I e-mail photographs to PC users they cannot see them? What can I do to solve this problem?

Outgoing mail & router problem - can't send (can receive) messages through Mail on specific network

Hello everyone,
There's a problem that's been bugging me for quite some time now. I'm using Mail to handle my gmail email, and everything's working fine, except when i'm connected to my work wifi.
When i'm connected to my work wifi I can't send e-mails. Mail will try to send a message (it shows a loading icon next to the 'Sent' mailbox)
for a few minutes before notifying me that it cannot send the message. When I look at the 'Activity' window, it seems to be stuck on 'checking account connections' and 'sending message'..
The strange thing is, when I switch networks to some other wireless network (my home network, or our neighbors, for example), the message is sent straight away and everything works perfectly.
I'm using the standard gmail settings (smtp.gmail.com, standard ports & password authentication)..
My work router is a Thomson TG789vn.
I hope someone can help :-)

p.s. I just testing sending again, and was able to send 1 email. It took about 20 min to send.. ( :-s ), it was only text.. weird.

Hmm.. I can't imagine that being the case.. Sending e-mail from the browser works just fine.

Iphone ios5, cannot see "all mailboxes" in mail app...?

i only see one mail message.. the top tab just says MAILBOXES.. there is no way to go back to ALL MAILBOXES, or see other messages..
at the bottom there are icons to RELOAD, DOWNLOAD MESSAGE TO A FOLDER, FILE, REPLY or WRITE NEW MESSAGE...
But I can't figure out how to get back to see my other messages, or ALL MAILBOXES...

You can create Calendar events from within Mail, and you can be reminded of those events. Search Mail's built-in help for the term "calendar."

Cannot see attachments in ios7 mail

I have both an iphone and an ipad with IOS7 installed. I received an email with a PDF attachment. When viewing the email from my MAC (Mavericks), I can see that there is a a PDF attachment in the email. But when viewing the same email message from IOS 7, either iphone or ipad, the PDF attachment is not there.
I regularly review my email on my mobile device and have had several situations lately where I did not know there was an attachment. Then later, I saw the attachment when I was on my MAC Air.
I have already check the setting to Load Remote Images and it is turned on for both devices. I've tried turning it off and back on and restarting the devices and neither of those will cause message to display the PDF.
Can someone help?

When you check the mail and scroll down to the bottom of the mail, you do not see anything about downloading the attachment? Are these extremely large attachments? I have had no issues with attachments with either my personal POP email, nor my work Exchange account in iOS 7, so I cannot say that it is just an iOS 7 issue. I find it especially interesting that this is happening on two separate devices. What type of account is this, POP, IMAP, or Exchange?

Battery draining quickly, not receiving messages/e-mails/notifications properly..?

I charged my phone yesterday morning at home in an area where I supposedly have 5 bars of service. Then I took a train down to Baltimore, and the battery and phone seemed to be working fine. When I got to my apartment, the phone started draining very rapidly, and all I had done was send a few text messages. I plugged it in to charge again, and at some point in the night I received 4 text messages at once, then no further activity. When the phone was charged, I unplugged it and went to sleep. This morning I was woken up by it dying again, and I obviously didn't use it while I was sleeping (received an onslaught of e-mails and Facebook messages on it as well, all at once again). Does anyone know what's wrong with this phone and how I can fix it? I'm in yet another great service area, smack dab in the middle of a city, so that can't be it.

I apologize that the Bold is not working properly. Is this still an issue for you? When did you purchase the Bold? I recommend backing up your personal data through Blackberry Protect or Desktop Manager, and perform a master reset (http://bit.ly/v0BRZv) to restore the battery life and notifications. Can GET email but cannot SEE individual messages!

When I check my Verizon business email I see them in the inbox but when I click the messages I cannot READ any of them!

Telephone company says they just cant help because is not line problem and "it seems they can't solve the hardware problem".

Cannot see Reminders section in Mail app Mountain Lion

I'm reading online that you're supposed to be able to see a Reminders section in Mail app but I cannot find anywhere. I've also read that you're supposed to be able to drag and drop emails to create Reminders, but I cannot get it to drop into Reminders list it just takes me back to Mail.

Cannot see sent messages

Absolute BB newbie, just received an 8320. I think I've figured out most of the basics, but cannot seem to make my sent messages visible. I have checked to be sure "hide sent messages" is set to "no", set it to "yes", than reset it to "no", pulled the battery for 30 seconds, tried standing on my head and screaming at it... also, the sent messages folder is empty. Is this a glitch, or am I being stupid?

first I would guess that you created your account as a POP3 account. That would lead to the problem that sent emails only exist on the one computer you were sending the email from.
Please let us know if the email accounts are POP3 or IMAP.
