Cannot see video, I get green screen and can only hear the contents

I've unintalled flash player and adobe shockwave and re-installed it again but I am getting the same problem. Video is not working. I dont know what to do.

I came across your post about the Notebook, and wanted to assist you! I have looked into your issue about yourwith the Video not working correctly or green. Try clicking on the green screen, in the tab named Local Storage and put 10 KB and the green screen should disappear. Here is a link to the HP Support Assistant if you need it. Just download and run the application and it will help with the software and drivers on your system that need updating as the graphic driver could need updating. Have you tried another browser? This link will help you update your browser if needed. Let me know how this goes. Thanks.

Hey, I'm having the exact same problem.
I just got my Macbook Pro and I tried to partition/install windows xp the first day I got it. After successfully partitioning my HD, the 50GB partition didn't show up while trying to install the windows platform.
To be a bit more specific, it doesn't even show up in my startup disk in the system preferences menu (if that's any help?)
So after about a week of abandoning my Macbook and going back to my PC I went to the Apple store and someone from the genius bar just told me to reformat the entire thing...so that's what I did and I'm still having the same problem.
Any advice Lyssa?

Get "green screen" and can't go to wide version

When I try to play a movie from the web, it starts out OK, but about halfway through the screen turns "green".
In addition, the same thing happens when I try to go to a "wide screen" or "full screen" option.
The sound plays fine... Anybody else having the same probLem?
Any suggestions or recommendations?

If you do not own a license for CS5 there is not much you can do to get it thru Adobe. They only sell current versions of their software (CS6 or Creative Cloud). You would need to find a third party vendor and take your chances with them.
If you do own a CS5 license you can download the software thru the following page and use your serial number to activate:

The startup disk may need repairing ...
Launch Disk Utility located in HD > Applications > Utilities
Select the startup disk on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk (not Verify Disk Permissions)
If the disk needs repairing, restart your Mac while holding down the Command + R keys. From there you can access the built in utilities in OS X Recovery to repair the startup disk.

The icon for Safari has probably moved to make room for new apps. Scroll the Home screen to look for it.
You cannot reverse the upgrade.

Text in fillable text form gets cut off and appears only in the lower half of the text form?

I'm trying to create a text-fillable PDF form. However, when I add a text form, the text I test in it gets cut off and appears only in the lower half of the text form by default (see 2nd photo below). How do I correct this and make the text take up ALL the space in the form like the 1st photo?

Have you set the text field properties options to multiline? Is so, please attach a screen shot of that dialog box so we can see how it is set.

My iMovie is skipping like crazy when I try to edit and then goes to a black screen and you can only hear the audio!?!? What's happening??

I use iMovie almost everyday for Youtube videos. I have nothing in my imovie except the 5 clips that I'm editing now. I have all my media on an external hard drive and delete everything after I'm done with ( I empty all trash cans). My iMovie is now skipping when I try to edit and then the clips just go to a black screen and I can only hear the audio, this has been going on for a week and I don't know what to do?!? Any help?

First, go to iMovie/Preferences and enable the Advanced Tools.
Import the video clip into an iMovie Event. When you get ready to use it in an iMovie Project, select the clip in the Event and drag & drop it on top of a video or photo clip in the project at the place where you want it to begin. When the pop-up menu appears, choose Audio Only.

I'm not really sure what visor is, I am assuming it is an app or a webpage that you are watching on your iPad and trying to airplay to the Apple TV.
Websites and third party Apps need enabling before they will allow AirPlay of Video content. Some Website/App developers have not enabled their products, some simply haven't got around to it yet, others have stated that they won't be enabling AirPlay (likely as a result of licensing issues).

The app is not gone, it is impossible to remove it from the device.
Check all home screens and folders.
If you are unable to find it, Settings > General > Reset > Reset Home Screen Layout.
As a last resort, restore from backup.

There is a large thread relating to Gmail, but nothing that sounds like that.
Nobody here knows what Apple is going to do.
You might try removing the Gmail account and then add it back in.

Try closing the Mail app completely and see if it works properly when you re-open the app : from the home screen (i.e. not with the Mail app 'open' on-screen) double-click the home button to bring up the taskbar, then press and hold any of the apps on the taskbar for a couple of seconds or so until they start shaking, then press the '-' in the top left of the Mail app to close it, and touch any part of the screen above the taskbar so as to stop the shaking and close the taskbar.
If that doesn't work also do a reset : press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

This might be a problem with the movies themselves, where are they from, are they your own movies that you have converted yourself.
