Cannot see video titles

After uploading the video on my ipad, i can only see the images for the videos but cannot see the titles. So if I have multiple episodes from a season uploaded, I have to go and open each one to find out the next episode.

If you are importing analog video review the topic "importing sony Video 8 from DCR-TRV310 (DV)"

    Welcome to Apple Support Communities
Security Update 2013-003 is available for Snow Leopard, Lion and Mountain Lion. You can download the Snow Leopard version > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1670
You don't have enough space to install the update, so you have to delete things from the hard drive or move them to an external drive. See > http://thexlab.com/faqs/freeingspace.html

  • Upgraded to 13.0.1 and now cannot see videos in youtube and others. I can see them in other browsers. the Flash plugin is OK

Cannot see videos in youtube and other graphics. I can see them in other browsers. the Flash plugin is ativated... all of this since I upograded to 13!
    thanks

Recent crashes of certain multimedia contents (this includes Youtube videos, certain flash games and other applications) in conjunction with Firefox 13 are most probably caused by a recent Flash 11.3 update and/or a malfunctioning Real Player browser plugin.
In order to remedy the problem, please perform the steps mentioned in these Knowledge Base articles:

  • Can't see Video titles in ipod

    Hello,
I put some home videos on new ipod. I named them, but when i use the ipod the videos play, but i can't see the titles. How do I need to name the files?
    Thanks!

Unfortunately, only TV Shows bought directly from the iTunes Music Store will show up as TV Shows on your iPod (by default). You'll have to leave your videos labeled as Movies, if you want them to show up on your iPod. Sorry.

  • Cannot see video in iMovie

This is my first time ever using iMovie so I'm hoping this is super easy. I'm using iMovie 11 in Lion. Ok so I imported an .mp4 video to iMovie and can play audio but I can't see any video. I just want to cut about 3 small clips from a big 20 minute video and put them together. I thought it would be simple, but how do I get the video to show up?

If your analog video device does not support device control, turn off device control. To do this, choose Preferences from the Edit menu, click the Device Control tab, then make sure the checkbox next to Enable Device Control doesn't have a checkmark in it.

  • Cannot see video preview while editing

Years ago, I captured and edited a movie I had made, using an earlier version of Premiere. Today, I want to do some re-editing, but even when I render the entire video, I cannot see the video preview, though the audio plays just fine. I'm using Adobe CS3 on a Vista system.
The video is a 3.6 gigabyte .mpg file, and plays perfectly when not in Premiere. When in Premiere, all I get is a blank green screen instead of the preview window. It's hard to google the error, because, of course, "green screen adobe premiere" gives a LOT of tutorials, heh. The computer is a new, dual-core system that exceeds all of the system requirements for Premiere.
I don't know where to begin fixing the problem, which I've bashed my head against for weeks now. Helping me will bring you great karma in this world and the next, I assure you.

Based on reading a LOT of problem reports, importing files from a DVD camcorder or other MPEG device, or Ripping DVD files rarely results in success in Premiere... do not be fooled by movie industry advertising into thinking that "DVD Quality Video" is suitable for EDITING... it is not... a DVD is designed to be for PLAYBACK only... and that includes trying to edit a Standard Def MPEG or VOB file!
You should also use WAV sound files, not the compressed MP3 format, To work with AC3 files in Premiere, it MAY work to copy the ad2ac3dec.dll file from the Encore DVD directory into the Premiere directory
Go to my notes page http://www.pacifier.com/~jtsmith/ADOBE.HTM
Click the internal link for editing compressed files... read, there are some ideas & links there
There are other products better suited to your task (read at the link above for a partial list) but if you only have DVD type files, you should convert to DV AVI... go to the VideoHelp link in my notes and look for a program to convert... but do be aware that converting from a HIGHLY compressed viewing format back to an editing format is going to cause a drop in quality
The only SD (Standard Def) files that Premiere really likes are DV AVI type 2

  • Cannot see video from certain users

I have a PC and Mac in the house. If I log in to the PC and Mac with 2 of my own separate accounts,  and video skype myself,  the video works okay. I would infer from this that.
-my router and ISP are okay
-that my PC and Mac have Skype set up correctly.
Earlier today I connected with two new people on Skype, and in both cases, they could see me, but I could not see video of them. Audio was okay. Does this mean the problem is at the other users side? I am suprised by the difficulties i am having, given that I can video skype myself with 2 different accounts, and 2 of my own computers.

The three main causes would be incompatibles due to the Skype version being used by your contacts, bandwidth related, or computer/device hardware related.   If your contact's computers are over 10 years old and don't support the P4 and above SSE2 instruction set then video will be disabled on both ends.

  • Cannot see video on pc

After upgrading my new iPad (iPad 3) to iOS 6 I can no longer see videos I made with the iPad camera on my PC. I transferred the .mov file in different ways, but Quicktime on my Vista or Windows 7 PC refuses to show the video. The audio plays fine.
VLC player does show the video, albeit tilted 90 degrees. Videos taken from the iPad before the iOS upgrad play perfectly, even if they are transferred after the upgrade.
Uploading to YouTube makes things visible again, I just can't get it to show on my Windows PCs. Is there a new war between Apple and Microsoft going on?

Solved it myself. It looked more and more that Quicktime was the culprit. Downgraded to Quicktime 7.7.1, and all works fine now.
Strange that Apple has not come up with a fix yet.....

  • Cannot see video in you tube . Area to view remains black. can see selections but when I chose nothing happens

http://youtu.be/E2FEux4RjBE this is just one site I could not see. I cannot play the video of any site I visit. If I go to youtube using internet explorer all the videos work fine. Do I have something disabled in firefox?

Works like a charm -- you get to this settings menu by right clicking on the Flash component that's not working and choosing "Settings".

  • Cannot change Video Titles - Revert back to original

When I import my videos into iTunes they have incorrect titles and when I try to change them by using "Get Info" they don't change. Just seeing if there is something small I'm missing before I reinstall

I can not change the video name from their original titles. For example, VTS014 is the title I can not change. They are not read only and the videos play fine in iTunes and on my iPod.

  • Cannot see video without video camera connected, already imported Video

I imported my Video from my Video Camera, but after Editing my Video, when I try to share the video, or create a file, a message appears that says "This Item cannot be shared while referancing media on the camera". Ive made made many movies with prior versions of IMovie, now I updated to 10.0.3, If I disconnect the camera, all the Clips have a Question Mark. Seems like the file is not saved to my Hard Drive.

I can't even see the VPs in order to play them.
Try placing the podcasts in a test playlist and resync your iPod. If neither the playlist nor the files appear on the iPod, they were likely not copied.

  • Cannot see video in Event library preview browser"

I am trying to preview video clips in my event library browser.  When I click on the clips to preview/play, I hear the audio, but do not see any video.  I can however still drag them to a project  where I can see and hear them video like "normal".  I was able to do this yesterday, but cannot do this today...I am thinking one of my kids was in iMovie and changed a setting or something....please help!

    >just kept all the defaults
Well... that is just about like trying to force a square peg into a round hole... in other words, each type of video needs the correct preset

  • I have updated Adobe Flash as you reccommend, but still cannot see videos. I have followed your instructions but not having any luck. help.

Videos qit working on my computer. It was suggested to update Adobe. I have saved it and ran it but nothing happens. How do I get it back working. Not very good when things dont go right. Have looked at your help pages and nothing has helped. Thanks.

I think that means your Flash player is installed and working. But why not on popular sites? Hmmm... to see whether an add-on is at fault, you could try Firefox's Safe Mode.
First, I recommend backing up your Firefox settings in case something goes wrong. See [https://support.mozilla.com/en-US/kb/Backing+up+your+information Backing up your information]. (You can copy your entire Firefox profile folder somewhere outside of the Mozilla folder.)
Next, close Firefox, hold the Shift key, and restart Firefox in
[http://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Safe Mode]. Be careful not to "reset" anything permanently if you didn't back up.
Does YouTube work in Safe Mode? If so, a conflicting add-on is the most likely culprit.

  • Cannot see Videos

I cannot figure out why I can not view video podcasts on my iPod. The ipod is a 30GB black classic. It appears the video podcast will play only the audio. Can I reset the iPod and re-sync?
    Thanks.

Dude, if you are playing the video from the Music/Playlists menu will only get you the audio. The video will display when playing it from the iPod's Video/Video Playlists menu.

  • After downloading the latest flash player as requested, I still cannot see videos on websites.

I have been trying to watch videos on some websites and I have downloaded the latest version of flash player as requested and I still cannot watch the videos...I get the same message that I need to download the latest version of flashplayer.

Thanks for posting back.  If disabling hardware acceleration resolves the problem, you might be able to update your video drivers and re-enable it for better performance.
