I purchased a TouchSmart 610 1280qd (Windows 7 Pro) August 2011, but cannot change channels on TV using Windows remote, but I can with ATT Uverse remote. Picture is not clear and there seems to be some conflict going on in the background. Spent many hours on phone with tech support, not to mention money on this computer. HP techs blame ATT, ATT techs blame HP.... HELP!!!

I'm having the same issue - when I try to change any print options iTunes freezes and I have to end the process in Task Manager... I was trying to turn off duplex printing and the printer option screen wouldn't take any input. I changed the default printer properties to turn off duplex; iTunes did not reflect the updated preferences. It looks like there is an unknown issue with the printer setup module - guess that doesn't get much use anymore or Q/A should have picked up the issue...

When I change the color using windows 7, apparently firefox runs slower. The videos I watch are spotty and looking like it's in slow motion. Sometimes I get a prompt to use firefox colors and this fixes it. But why can't I use other colors, and are there settings to help me fix this problem? Thank you for any information you can give me. Try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

Hi I want to use Windows Remote Desktop Services on my iMAC.
I understand some printers work but some dont when printing from the VDI client.
Can anyone give me a list of printers that will work with the VDI client or some work arounds so that I can print using my iMAC and that print jobs can be parsed through the VDI clien to my iMAC and then printed through the iMACs connection to the printer

Regarding multiple ways of doing things in Logic, that is the heaven and h-ell that is Logic. It's what allows people to pull off all kinds of musical stunts in ways that other DAWs wish they could accommodate, and at the same time increases the learning curve tremendously.
Not to minimize your frustrations, but there are far more serious aspects of Logic that need addressing more than common sense things such as displaying units of measurement for fade parameter values. But insofar as customers can tell, the company has turned a blind eye and a deaf ear towards its customers. So for all intents and purposes, Logic is dead. And it will be for some time, until -- and only until -- they surprise us all by coming out with a highly stable, thoroughly tested updated version that works on PPC and MacIntel. But unless an insider is willing to spill the beans about current development/improvements in Logic, we will simply never know what lies ahead.
In the meantime, I would suggest, as did the previous poster, to use automation to create your long fades. Use the fade tool just to fix minor problems or make small crossfades, or to shape the attack of sounds. Use automation for anything that would otherwise resemble a fader move.

USB-6009 Daqmx Base 3.3 Cannot creat 2 or more channels on Windows mobile 6

I have USB-6009, PDA iPAQ 214, WM6, Daqmx base 3.3, Labview 2009. In order to create new mobile project I use wizard and standart dynamic example: Cont Acq&Graph Voltage-Int Clk.vi. All works ok, but if I add more chanels in VI "Create Channels" or place new VI block and enter "Dev1/ai1", exe on my PDA cannot work correctly. Exception after RUN. I have no idea how build correct application with 3 channels without this exeption... On PC all works. Whay right way to create channels? I attach VI which don't work, for examle. I read daqmxbase cannot support WM6, but 1 channel work ideal!

I forgot to mention that, yes, Windows Mobile 6 is not supported along side of DAQmx Base. That means you might be able to get some of the same functionality(limited) that you would with Windows Mobile 5, but most likely not 100% functionality. This could explain why 1 channel works and multiple channels do not. I will try and help you out, but as this is not supported my ability to help is limited.

Cannot listen to online radio streaming using Windows Media Player

Online radio websites that use Windows Media Player - opens up the player in new window but instead of buffering, says that it is playing but no output/sound. Definitely not security/pop up/firewall issue. Windows Media Player works fine playing CDs etc.

so, you definitively have a machine whichs plays sound and you can establish a internetconnection. I think its a pure mediaplayer problem (softwareproblem).
You have the following options:
1. Reinstall your mediaplayer or update it.
2. install another mediaplayer software like winamp or some other jukebox
3. ..no further options
Give some feedback, so I can maybe help you with your problem. ;)

Unable to connect to my home PC from my home Mac using Windows Remote Desktop

i have downloaded from the Microsoft website and also the Application from the App store and both fail to connect. i have connected to my PC using the migration assistant so they are able to recognise each other.
on the Mac:
- downloaded the app and also done the download from MS website - both fail and suggest to check that remote access is enabled.
on the PC:
- have my Ipaddress from "IPConfig"
- have enabled remote access through windows firewall
The PC is on and has a password enabled
Error on App:
"Unable to connect to remote PC. Please verify remote desktop is enabled, the remote pc is turned on and available on the network and try again"
both are connected to the internet and on the same home network. Can anyone please advise to any additional steps as this seems as though this should be really straightforward. as another note i don't have another firewall software interrupting - am just
using windows firewall until i can get this working.

How do I stop calendar from coming on automatically and overiding gmail so that I cannot access it. I can use windows explorer and this does not happen.

When I use firefox to access my gmail account, the calendar comes on by itself and I then cannot get to my emails. If I get the gmail account by windows explorer this does not happen. What can I do within firefox to stop this from happening. It just started this today.

After disabling the addon the problem is gone.

Just set up a new computer running Windows 7. Used Internet Explorer to find the Firefox web site. When I try to download, I get a message saying site is unavailable.

How do I change language iTunes - using windows 8?

The language has changed from English in ITunes menues and headings. Language options are listed in Preferences > General, but English is not in the list. How do I find English to reset it? This is made more difficult as all the text in the Preferences is in Spanish ( I think) and I can'e read Spanish.

In the initial screen of Skype for Windows 8 (the one listing recent conversations, favourites, contacts, etc.) a thumbnail of your current picture, with your subnick and a coloured dot indicating your current online status should appear. Look for it at the top right of the Skype screen, it's there even if you dock Skype to a side of the desktop. If you click that, a side panel appears with your account information, a textbox to change your subnick, etc. Clicking on your current picture (above the subnick textbox) will open a file selector to replace it with a new one.
If you are not at the initial Skype screen, right click and two bars will appear; the top bar will have a Skype icon that should take you to the initial screen.

Applications tab is blank, cannot select or change mailto.

When I select Options:Applications, the page is blank. Thus I am not able to change my email to gmail or anything else for that matter.

Have you tried resting the browser? Is that an option for you?
1. Open the menu (3 horizontal lines at the top right)
2. Open the Help Menu (the small circle with a "?")
3. Open "Troubleshooting information"
4. Click "Reset Firefox"
5. Confirm by click "Reset Firefox"
This will clear out all of the browser data and return everything to a clean state. It will remove extensions and other things that could be causing the problem. However your bookmarks will be fine. Hopefully that will allow Firefox to load everything properly.

Let me know the name of the ISP- means it’s a cable connection or a DSL connection? Do you get the internet connection when you connect the modem directly to the computer? If yes, what IP address do you get on the computer? To check the IP address that you are getting from the Router...
You can check the IP address in the following manner:
# Click on Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Command Prompt.
# A black pop up box should come up, type: "ipconfig /all" …
There check the IP address and Default Gateway under LAN….

HP Photosmart 6510 cannot print in Parallels for Mac using Windows 7

I currently use the above model of printer with my Macbook (OSX Mountain Lion) and have no problems printing with the MAC.
The problem is when I am in virtual machine mode (Parallels Desktop 8) and trying to print from Windows 7.
Although it seems to be recognising the printer, it is telling me the printer is 'offline: 1 document waiting'.
The Parallels support pages say that printers should work automatically.
Can anyone help?

Sounds like a bit of a mixed setup here, where you are using a Macintosh with Windows loaded onto the system. My first question is on the profile you are working with have you loaded the appropriate drivers from the website for the Windows machine? Here is a link for that :

Cannot fully update or uninstall itunes using windows 7 64 bit OS

I've tried both of those previously. Sorry I didn't mention that. I've done so many things it's hard to remember. I'm beginning to think that some of the problem lies within the phone. And since I can't even get the computer to be able to read it properly, I can't restore to factory again.
I had a bit of luck with a friends PC and was able to get it to read it, but not sync. So, I may use his iTunes to restore my phone to a factory default. Then attempt to uninstall/reinstall iTunes on my Laptop again to see if it works.
(Also for the copy/paste files, the latest iTunes from the site remedied the issue where the files were in the wrong location, so that was already completed).
The link to the support page is virtually useless though. I'd done everything that page asked before even seeing it. Thanks for trying though. I'll repost after I restore and then uninstall/reinstall again.
