Cannot send any more yahoo mails after my account had been hacked.

My yahoo account has been hacked. I changed my password. Now I can receive e-mails, but are unable to send an e-mail from any of my apple devices.
Can send it from Windows. My account was hacked yesterday. Any suggetions? Thank you !!

Did you change your password in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendar > your yahoo account on your iPad? If you didn't you need to put in the new password there. If you have changed the password on your iPad I suggest deleting your email account on the iPad and setting it up again.

Not sure about yahoo, but for gmail, I done the following:
Set up using Exchange on iPhone, it'll keep prompting for password. On PC use captcha option, log in to gmail account from PC after completingg captcha option, enter password on iPhone.
See how that goes for gmail, let us know.
Hopefully someone will have fix for yahoo.

Cannot send emails on Yahoo mail. It works okay with Safari. I set default to Yahoo but still cannot send

Use MAC. Cannot send emails through Yahoo mail through Firefox but can send through Safari.
Also issue with Facebook. Using Firefox cannot sign out of account. Can sign out when using Safari.

Which security software (firewall, anti-virus) do you have?
Boot the computer in Windows Safe Mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps.
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).

Very unlikely.
Even IF sender send out some sort of malicious software, it was probably most likely to point user to download some sort of windows application (like fake anti-virus etc.) which wouldn't work on a mac.

Cannot send email from yahoo mail client

I cannot open or send or attach anything to my email in the yahoo mail. I know there's nothing wrong with the email because it works on my laptop, just not on my computer. Could there be a setting problem, or a cookie problem or something?
I also cannot open Bonjour to see my printer settings. Everything was working fine yesterday.

Firefox claims that my e-mail in-box is full & cannot download any more messages, even after I have cleared the majority of the files from in-box, out-box & deleted box.

When I returned from holiday there were hundreds of messages waiting for me, but Firefox would only open the first few. Some that I tried to open just showed a balnk page, others showed a page of hundreds of lines of letters & digits. Every time that I open Firefox I receive the message that the IN-box is full.
I appear to be able to send messages, but not receive them.
I have spoken to Virgin Media who say that all messages can be accessed via another server(?) - e.g. Outlook Express, so it must be a Firefox problem!

Firefox doesn't do emails.

Cannot send pictures in e-mail after downloading firefox 4 need help

when writing an e-mail I cannot put an attachment when trying to sent. The attachment button in the e-mail is gone and attachments cannot be inserted in to be sent.have tried several times and pictures are not allowed to come up for me to pick what I want to send.

I had the same problem. I'm running 10.5 but on a Motorola chip. The Firefox download page is not clear on OS and machine requirements. To fix the problem, trash the newly installed Firefox 4. Download Firefox 3.6.16 and reinstall. All of your preferences and bookmarks will still be there as they are contained in a different place. Hope this helps.

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.)
Or this - Delete the account in Mail and then set it up again. Settings->Mail, Contacts, Calendars -> Accounts Tap on the Account, then on the red button that says Remove Account.

It sounds like someone has unauthorized access to your Apple ID and has changed the password. I would recommend resetting your password with this article:

Click “Manage your Apple ID” and sign in.
If you have two-step verification turned on, you'll be asked to send a verification code to the trusted device associated with your Apple ID. If you're unable to receive messages at your trusted device, follow the guidelines for what to do if you can't sign in with two-step verification.
Click "Password and Security".
In the "Choose a new password" section, click Change Password.
Enter your old password, then enter a new password and confirm the new password. Click Save when done.
The next time you use an Apple feature or service that uses Apple ID, you'll be asked to sign in with your new Apple ID password.

I have starter 3.0 and cannot share pictures via outlook express. Evidently that version is discontinued and my outlook express does not support the MAPI that is required. I think the only solution is to upgrade to photoshop
elements or to send photos as attachment to your e-mail. I have the same problem using Zoom Browser EX sending photos via internet. I spent a whole day trying to resove this issue and have exhausted all options. Just like "Instant share" in HP image Zone that was replace by photoshop album starter 3.0 and now it is out dated.

You haven't set up the SMTP (outgoing) mail server correctly. You probably didn't enter your user ID and password for the outgoing server. They are needed even though it says "optional".
