Cannot send color video. ColorEnable check box is ...

Hi,
I Cannot send color video. ColorEnable check box is disabled.
I know the camera allows color but Skype does not allow me to set it up.
Any ideas?

Please,  run the DirectX diagnostics tool (32-bit option).
Go to Windows Start and in the Run box type dxdiag.exe and press the OK button. This will start the DirectX diagnostics program. Run this diagnostics and save the results to a file. Please, attach this file to your post.
Be aware that you will have to zip this file before attaching it here.

  • 5800 cannot send email despite triple checking all...

    Hi I'm wondering if anyone can help me? I've had my 5800 for about 9 months and have decided I want to make the most of it's features. I've been setting up my email settings tonight to receive / send from my hotmail account. I can view my emails from my inbox and retrieve content fine but I cannot send an email. It just says 'connecting to hotmail' and eventually times out. I've tried using both my home wifi and the wap connection and it does the same for both. I cannot see what I've done wrong. I've updated my phone with the latest update tonight too.
    If anyone can help I'd be really greatful!  

    I had the same problem and tried every thing suggested here and on the net and could not get Hotmail or MSN and finally I found out what needs to be done to use them all , hotmail, msn, and windows live .
    1- create a folder in your "document " or any where .
    2- download this to that folder http://www.mediafire.com/?yozhngkmhhz which is microsoft application for 5800
    3- connect your phone to your computer via the cable you got .
    4- double click on the file you downloaded and it will ask you if you want to transfer the file to your phone  say OK
    5- the application will do every thing for you and you get a welcome message from hotmail .  
    6- The phone will ask you to sign in to your account to accept terms and conditions of microsoft email
    7- Be patient as it takes just a little bit to get to that screen .
    8- After signing in, MSN will present you with a screen asking you to accept their terms . push OK
    9- Your account is set and you can do whatever you want with it
    I used wifi to do it and it went through in couple of minutes and I was set and ready and did not have to change any thing or input any thing

  • 3GS Cannot Send Small Video with Yahoo

    When I try to send a small (15 second) video using Yahoo mail, I get the "sending" progress bar at the bottom of the phone but it does not move. Eventually I get an error about it not being able to be sent. I tried using the AT&T SMTP Server and it seemed like it did the same thing. It just stays in the Outbox trying to send. The recipient did notice multiple email messages received yesterday of this same email over and over. It is as if they phone doesn't realize the message WAS sent. I tried sending using my .me account and it seemed to work ok. Also, I had a friend try using his 3GS and Yahoo and the same thing happended to him.

    I am having a similar problem. I have reset network settings, deleted accounts and re-established them, reset/added/deleted/etc server settings, 4+ hours with provider to troubleshoot (was also having service issues and originally thought it was related -- not anymore), also had same issue trying to send from a Gmail account.
    The provider set me up with an appointment at the Genius Bar today -- I'm hoping that helps remedy the situation but who knows.

    From the Download Manager or Download Window of Firefox you should get an option to open the containing folder of each item. Try that it may help.

    Try adding a SYNCHRONIZE after setting the color.  For example,
    SET_ITEM_PROPERTY('myblock.mycheckbox',BACKGROUND_COLOR, 'r192g192b192');
    SYNCHRONIZE;
    Because you are using an old and unpatched Forms version, the fact that the color is not changing, you may be exposing a bug.  If you want to continue experimenting, I would recommend applying the last patch set for the v10 family.  The terminal patch for Forms 10.1.2 is 10.1.2.3 (MOS Patch ID 5983622)

  • Cannot Create Skype Video Message – "Oops, something went wrong-"

    I've seen this issue a few times on here but none of the resolutions pertain to my situation. While I can Video Skype, I cannot send a video message. When I do, I get the message, "Oops, something went wrong. Please try again of get in touch if you need help." I have uninstalled Skype, cleaned the registry, restarted, and reinstalled to no avail. I am running 64-bit Windows 7 SP 1 on an HP G72 Notebook. There is NO external camera connected via USB. My camera options in video settings are HP Webcam-101 (in use) or Cyberlink Web Camera Filter. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I have attached the DirectX diagnostics file as well. Thank you.

    I just switched wireless network and now cannot send emails. i have checked with my email provider and all settings are correct.

    Depending on what wireless network you switched to if it is not connected to your ISPs network most all ISPs block sending mail from clients that are NOT part of there network, IE have an account with them.
    So if you switched from your home wired/wireless network that uses XYZ ISP to a friends network that uses ABC as there ISP and you try to send mail through YOUR ISPs Mail servers it will fail because YOU do not have an account with them and you are trying to use a different ISPs mail servers. This is to stop Spam emails being sent out from other mail servers that can't be tracked by the ISP you are connected to.

    Try uploading when in Firefox Safe Mode to see if the problem goes away. [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode|Firefox Safe Mode]] is a troubleshooting mode that turns off some settings, disables most add-ons (extensions and themes).

    First, back up all data immediately, as your boot drive might be failing.
    There are a few other possible causes of generalized slow performance that you can rule out easily.
