Cannot send invites to participants via Z 10

Hello,
I use Outlook 2010 for mail, calendar and contacts on my laptop (no server). If I use the BBLink calendar on my z10 to make a new appointment , it will be added to my Outlook calendar when I sync via USB, but I can't associate the BBLink calendar on the z10 with any email accounts and  cannot send invites to participants. If I try to do associate an email account with the BBLink calendar from the z10, it tells me this has to be done on the laptop with which BBLink is managed. When I try to do so, there is no option to associate an email with this calendar account on the z10 . On the BBlink software in my computer I entered my blackberry ID and as well on my Z10/ .
If I make a new appointment using the local calendar on the z10, I can include other participants and they receive an invite. But when I sync to my computer, the new appointment made with the z10 local calendar does not sync to Outlook.
I have the latest software version on my z10 and on my computer
Please helpppppp….

On your Z10, to associate your Calendar with an email account, are you going to your Settings > Accounts > Set Defaults?
What choices do you have there?

  • Wiki Calendars cannot send invitations?

    Hi there all
I have recently setup a Lion Server with iCal and Wiki
I have created a group Wiki and enabled its Calendar.
Users can subscribe to the calendar and create events, but cannot send invitations to attendees?
I have tried created the events on the personal calendar page, and in ical client on my mac, but the events will update its time and date etc, but will not let me use the ical server's locations nor send invitations to other users
is there anywhere to get around it?
    Cheers!

  • I cannot send invite on ical on iphone 4s

I used to do it but all of a sudden I can not anymore. There is no option for adding new people when creating an event on calendar. How to sovle it?

Correct. You cannot send and recieve files via Bluetooth to other phones with an iPhone.
This is not, and never has been a feature of the iPhone.

When you said you went to Settings and everything seems good. Does that mean the MMS was turned on? If so, and this is only being experienced when dealing with SMS/MMS, then you should contact your carrier to have them check to make sure your account is provisioned for MMS, and that everything is alright with your account. SMS/MMS is a carrier function.

please help!!!!!! i filled out a job application using adobe reader but i cannot send the file back via email because the file is protected with a lock. how do i unlock this file to send it?!!!!!!!!!

    Hi kevinv1987,
It doesn't sound like the PDF was password protected (or Adobe Reader would prompt you for a password). Instead, it sounds like that file may be marked locked by your operating system. Are you on Mac OS or Windows? In either case, here are instructions for removing the lock icon from the file:
Remove the Lock Icon from a Folder in Windows 7 (check Microsoft's website if you have a different version of Windows)
On Mac OS, select the file in the Finder, and choose File > Get Info. Then, just deselect the Lock checkbox.
Please let us know how it goes.
    Best,
    Sara

  • Cannot send email on iPhone4 via 3G

Since updating my iPhone4 to iOS 6.0.1 I find that I cannot send e-mail on my phone via 3G, although I continue to be able to receive e-mail and data, and can send and receive text messages on 3G.   I receive this message on my phone:
“Cannot Send Mail  The connection to the outgoing server “smtp.suddenlink.net” failed.  Additional Outgoing Mail Servers can be configured in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars.”
All mail functionality works fine when I am on a wireless network.   I’ve tried 3G in different parts of town, ensuring that I had four bars, but it doesn’t make a difference.
This problem occurs with all three of my mail accounts (Suddenlink, Gmail, Embarqmail) from multiple providers – all of which have worked just fine for the last 2 years, until now.  I have tried the following fixes:
I have turned the phone on and off.
I have verified and re-entered all of the account info.
I have deleted and re-installed the accounts multiple times.
I have now completely wiped my phone and started from scratch.
    ...but to no avail.
It appears from entries on the Support Community site that others may be having this problem as well?  Any suggestions?

From the Mail menu bar, select
    Window ▹ Connection Doctor
Click the Show Detail button. A drawer opens. Click Check Again and post the text that appears. Anonymize any personal information before posting.

  • Cannot Send Emails If Not Via Home Network

If I am at home I can send emails via my wifi network without problem but I cannot send emails outwith my home wifi range. This is because my ISP (Orange) insist that I send outgoing emails via mail.orangehome.co.uk so I have configured my email settings accordingly.
That outgoing setting does not allow me to send emails using the 3 Network or other wifi networks when I am away from the house
Anybody else having this problem? It is a real PITA and reduces the effectiveness of the phone significantly.
(A side effect of trying to send emails whilst away from my wifi network is that it screws things and any attempt to synchronise the mailbox thereafter results in an error 80072f30 until such time as I delete the message or messages in the outbox which failed to send.)

    Hello Hans
The problem I have can be explained with what has happened to me just today!
I was sitting in the back garden and wrote two emails. (Normally my EE Brightbox router will allow me to use wifi in the garden so I thought it safe to send them.)
    Wrong!
Because I had no wifi signal for whatever reason, the emails were sent via my network (3) and not via the EE wifi network.
3 then attempted to send them via smtp.orangehome.co.uk (specified in my mailbox setup on my phone since EE insists I use that outgoing server) and I assume that EE then refused to accept them since they did not originate from an EE user. The phone (Lumia 920) at that point froze with the 'Sycnhronising' message static on the screen. When I went to 'email setup' I got a message to tell me that there was a problem with my email setup. Whether the main problem or not, my email password had been lost and even when re-entered, I had to switch the phone off and on to stop the  'Sycnhronising' message and get access to email.
This was slightly different from previous situations - normally I get the numeric error message mentioned earlier. Even now that I have deleted the two emails from the outbox I still cannot use email until I delete and recreate my email account.
I have my own email server which I would prefer to use for outgoing mail as opposed to EE and the Lumia does not offer any facility to alter outgoing ports (as far as I an see).
Sorry if the reply is a bit wordy but I do feel that this situation deserves wider exposure as had I known earlier I would have chosen a broadband supplier who did not dictate the setting for outgoing mail server.

  • Cannot send or receive photos via multi media mess...

I cannot send or receive a message with a photo attached regardless of size. Went back to the trusty instructions and gives instructions on how to fix but with options that do not exist...
I go back to sett. wizard but keeps coming up with email options and not what is in the instructions

Contact your operator and ask them to send you the required settings via SMS.

  • I cannot send or receive pictures via iMessage data roaming enable 3G and cellular data all switched on

I Cannot send pictures or receive them via iMessage cella data ,data roaming and 3G all switched on

    Hello there, Blackpool1.
The following Knowledge Base article offers some great, in-depth steps for troubleshooting issues with sending MMS type messages with your iPhone:
    iOS: Troubleshooting Messages
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2755
Start with these steps and then move down from there if the issue persists:
If you can't send and receive MMS
You will need these to send and receive MMS:
    An iPhone 3G or later
    iOS 3.1 or later
A cellular data connection (MMS isn't available if you're using only Wi-Fi)
A domestic MMS plan from your cellular provider. You might need an international messaging plan to send MMS to an international contact (Contact your carrier for more information.)
A roaming MMS when using a cellular provider's network that is different from your billing cellular provider's network (Learn more about roaming and contact your carrier for more information.)
To resolve issues with sending and receiving MMS, follow these steps
Go to Settings and turn airplane mode off.
Go to Settings > Messages and turn MMS Messaging on.
Go to Settings > Cellular and turn Cellular Data on.
Go to Settings > Cellular and turn Data Roaming on if you're roaming on a cellular provider network that is different from your billing provider's network.
Make sure that you have a cellular data connection in the status bar of your iPhone.
Go to Settings and turn Wi-Fi off. Open Safari and navigate to www.apple.com to verify that you have a data connection. Turn Wi-Fi back on to continue using Wi-Fi for other features. If your cellular data connection isn't available, follow these steps.
Make sure that you can send and receive SMS. If you can't send and receive SMS, see the "Issues with sending and receiving SMS" section, above. MMS might not be available while you're on a call. Only 3G and faster GSM networks support simultaneous data and voice calls. Learn more about which network your phone supports.
    Restart your iPhone.
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings on your iPhone.
Remove your SIM card and insert it again.
Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities.
    Cheers,
    Pedro.

  • Ical cannot send invites anymore. "?" appears before email address

I can no longer send invitation to calendar events from Ical. a "?" mark appears before the email address. Have gone into preference and have no idea what might hace affected this.  Any help appreciated.

I have the exact same problem with a caveat - I shouldn't be using one company's mail server to send invitations related to another company! A corporate resources no-no.
It would be nice if each calendar could be associated with an email account.
See http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=7539832&#7539832 for a full discussion. When iCal invokes Mail to send the invitation Mail uses the preference for 'Send new mail from' which in my case is the 'Account of last viewed mail'. So I can work around the problem by going to Mail, selecting the account that I want iCal to use and then sending the invitation.

  • It is April 19, 2013 at 5:00AM and I cannot send an e-mail via iCloud.  Is the server down?

Is anyone else experiencing this problem?  I continue to try to send e-mail and receive a message that iCloud cannot deliver the message at this time.

  • Suddenly Cannot Send Emails with iPhone via Hotmail?

I have had my iPhone for 6 months and used it just fine to send and receive Hotmail and all of a sudden as of yesterday, I can no longer send messages but can still receive them. I get a message that says that a "Copy has been stored in my outbox. Sending message to server failed". I have been on the Internet for 3 hours and tried everything and nothing works. I know it is a Hotmail problem as I can send fine from my Gmail and Yahoo accounts via iPhone.
    Any ideas?

Solved thank you! It was in IIS. THe UploadReadAheadSize parameter was limiting to 50k the size of attachments. The fix, for us, to increase attachments size to 20meg is here:
    C:\Inetpub\AdminScripts>cscript adsutil.vbs get w3svc/UploadReadAheadSize
Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.6
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 1996-2001. All rights reserved.
The parameter "UploadReadAheadSize" is not set at this node.
    C:\Inetpub\AdminScripts>cscript adsutil.vbs set w3svc/UploadReadAheadSize "200000
    00"
Microsoft (R) Windows Script Host Version 5.6
Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation 1996-2001. All rights reserved.
    UploadReadAheadSize : (INTEGER) 20000000
    C:\Inetpub\AdminScripts>
    No need to reboot.
