Cannot send large group emails.

My mail program will not send emails to large groups. I get the message: Cannot send message using the server mail.insightbb.com. It will send them to small groups (5 or 6 names). This has only happened over the last week or so. Before that, I had no problem with these same large group emails.
I have contacted my ISP (Insight Cable), and they said they couldn't find any problem with their settings and that it sounded like an Apple problem.
Can anyone advise me?

I have solved the problem for one of my large group e-mails. By subdividing the listing into small groups and sending out test messages, I identified one address that kept being rejected. I discovered that one was missing the .com extension. When I corrected that address, the entire group could be sent. I wish the rejection message would have identified the 1 out of 45 addresses that was causing the problem. So far, however, I can't find anything wrong with an address in the other problem group. I guess I'll have to carry out the same sort of test--but there are 200 names in that group!

There is a potential security flaw in the BCC feature.
According to the conventions of the SMTP protocol, all addresses, including BCC addresses, are included in every email as it is sent over the Internet. The BCC addresses are stripped off blind copy email only at the destination email server. Therefore, if the addressee controls their email server or can access it, they could examine the BCC addresses on every email they receive.
Very occasionally, an email server will be misconfigured and not strip off the BCC list on email it sends to its local users, revealing the complete blind copy address field to users that receive the email at that domain. Therefore, BCC is very good but not perfect at keeping addresses confidential, and should not be relied on for the most critical and sensitive of communications.

You can set up email groups in Contacts. The articles says Address Book (Contacts old name), but it still works.

Same here! Happened yesterday to me on New iPad and iPhone 4S. On iPad I managed to correct it by removing the account and activating it again as an Exchange account...I have mail and calendar OK!
On the iPhone nothing seems to work!
Facts:
1. everything worked perfectly for years!
2. I have the 2-step authentication deactivated on my google account so it cannot be this one.
3. On desktop everything works just fine, on iPad everything is OK with Exchange account added (after Google removed support for Exchange account access I CAN ONLY HAVE ONE DEVICE with Google Exchange account, so doing the same on the iPhone does not work!)
4. Tried to remove and add the account again - no results.
5. Tried to remove and add as Google, as Exchange, as Other account - I get calendar but no mail!!!
6. Tried to reboot between remove/add accounts - no results.
7. Tried to ("reset settings") reset the device - no results.
8. Tried to add as POP account and I it worked - I get mail but I do not need POP as I am using zounds of mail with labels and need to be working on an IMAP account
9. To make things even more complicated...I have another account which works perfectly!!!!!
Anyone out there having a clue?

Don't use bcc, use cc instead. Better yet create a new group in Address Book, put the contacts you want into the group, then when you email select the group in the To: field instead of putting in individual email addresses.

Are you positive you're typing the correct password in? You might want to try and reset your password, and try again. You'll get texts because it isn't connected to your email account.

You probably need to revalidate your hotmail account. I read of some issues a ouple days ago affecting hotmail users. Also many hotmail accounts have to be revalidated every 90 days. CLick on the email setup icon on your BlackBerry and log in to your BIS(BlackBerry Internet Srvice) account. Click on email accounts, see if you need to re-enter your password for your hotmail account.
