Cannot set default grid artwork

Hi all,
I right click on an artist and set the default grid to a particular artwork but as soon as I take my mouse away from the artist, the artwork reverts back to the original. So, basically the default is never set.
Some one on this?

Nope. It is the first image from the first track of the first album that has artwork. As you move your pointer over the icon you will get any other images assoicated with that composer.

currently no hope it is not supported up to now. In any case, future developments will be on standard based LDP rather then TDP I recommend you to use LDP if possible in your tests
there are some drafts like

Cannot set default web template

Hi
I'm trying to set default web template through SPRO -> IMG -> Sap NetWeaver -> B.I -> Settings for reporting and analysis -> Bex Web -> Set standard web template -> Ad hoc analysis.
It works fine in Dev, but in Production the system seems to ignore the setting!
Even when I write a dummy template that doesn't exist I get no error message !
Please advice

I still have the issue, whatever the place where I force the template, the queries on the portal does not use my specific template.
I tried :

(this one was working before upgrade to netweaver stack 17).

Cannot set default programs for a file extension in Gnome

After a gnome upgrade (cannot remember when), I can no longer set the default program for a particular file extension by right clicking the file in nautilus -> going to "properties" -> going to "open with" tab -> highlighting a program -> pressing "set as default".

The program I was trying to set was totem for default video playback; wine had made windows media player the default player prior. Interestingly, once I installed gnome-mplayer; the default program changed to gnome-mplayer and I was then able to switch default programs. This error may be related to wine.

Midi/browser playback problem with Audigy 2 platinum (Cannot set Default Device for some reas

Currently I'm having problems playing back mid files in Mediaplayer and various other default programs. I can play midifiles in Winamp by setting it to the proper Directsound device. However in control panel/sound setup (MIDI music Playback), It only lists the MIDI Out Devices instead of the playback one and is defaulted on BLANK when I enter it. I have a feeling this is the main problem.
DX Diag plays back the midi fine. I have tried reinstalling the latest drivers and the drivers from the disc with no luck at all. Also the default language has been stuck on Japanese as well. I have no idea why it started doing this but it seems to also affect any sound playback in my web browsers since I don't even get sound from any Flash files or Google video.Message Edited by zoglog on 06-23-2006 :38 PMMessage Edited by zoglog on 06-23-2006 :38 PM

Ok, well I did a clean sweep and clean reinstall of the drivers that fixed my language problem. However I cannot get the proper "Midi music playback" Default Device. Whenever I change it to something it reverts it to a blank no matter how many times I change it or uncheck "Use only default devices"
It does the exact same thing for "Voice playback"
I'm not sure if this is related but I don't get any sound from any web-browser Shockwave flash files.
This is really starting to get fustrating. Any help input would be greatly appreciated. I think the worst part about this is I know the midi works, it just won't let me assign the device....
Oh yeah, also even if I set the "place volume icon in taskbar" option in the sound and devices properties it wll not show. Not sure if this is related...Message Edited by zoglog on 06-23-2006 :44 PM

I hear sound, but i cant found to make it the default output.

Ok, after a lot of try-and-error-and-reboot, i found that the default card is correctly defined ("aplay test.wav" works), but others applications (vlc, chromium) still did not produce sound.
Apparently, the problem came from pulsaudio, after i removed it, everything seems to work (sound is back on vlc and chromium), not sure what the problem with pulseaudio was.

ITunes 11 - Default Genre Artwork

How do I set default genre artwork in iTunes 11? iTunes has remembered what was my iTunes 10 default grid artwork for genres, which I set by scrolling through the tile and then right clicking and setting the artwork I wanted. How do I edit this, or remove the default artwork I have set in iTunes 11?

I saw this inquiry and had a similar question about how to create a default genre artwork for a newly created genre category in iTunes 11. Following erixium and Steve Taylor1's starting instructions I discovered a method to perform this task that I thought I would share.
Create a new genre in iTunes.
Control-click the item you want in a new genre.
Select Get Info from the drop down menu
Select the Info tab
In the Genre box at the bottom type in a new name, let's call it example for this sake.
Click the Okay button at the bottom right, should be blue.
Close iTunes
Create a new Genre artwork from a .jpg file and name it genre-example.jpg
In Finder go to the Applications window, select iTunes,app and control-click
Select Show Package Contents from the drop down menu
Copy the new Genre artwork into the Resources folder
Look for a file named genres.plist in the Resources folder.
Copy that folder to another location and save a copy of it in case you make a mistake and need to go back to the original.
Control-click the file and select open with then other from the menu
Select textedit.app as the application to open it with and click the open button on the bottom right
Go to the bottom of the file and select the last 4 lines prior to the line with </array>, they should look like this
Copy those 4 lines below the selected 4 to create a new item
Change the 2nd line (in this case musical score) to the name of the new genre you create in iTunes
Change the 3rd line (in this case genre-soundtrack.jpg) to the name of the .jpg file with your new artwork that you already inserted into the Resources folder of the iTunes package
Save the file
Copy the file to the Resources folder of the iTunes package overwriting the original genres.plist file
Close the iTunes.app Finder window
Open iTunes
Your previously newly created genre should now be using the genre artwork that you selected.

How to set default sync calender category in Entourage 2008

I am using Entourage 2008. Syncing it with ical then sync with iphone (as iphone cannot sync directly with Entourage). Everything works fine right now except that i cannot set default calender event category on Entourage.
now, whenever i make a calender event on ical or iphone even enotourage. it default category as "none", how do i make it default to be "work" category? Now i have to go in every time to chage it, which makes a lot of trouble.

Try this procedures.
1. Dont open your SBO program.
2. Goto C:\Program Files\SAP\SAP Business One\Conf\ folder
3. Delete file b1-local-machine.xml
4. Log to SBO program.
5. Apply all necessary authentication then select SQL_2008 then log.
6. After logging exit to SBO program.
7. Re-log again if SQL_2008 is already in default.

Setting default preferences (CS3)

Hi, I seem to be losing my preferences a lot recently, when I have a crash, and it's becoming quite tedious fixing them manually.
I've managed to successfully java script a few things to work on startup. However there are a few things I don't know the code for:
1. Uncheck "Dimensions include stroke weight"
2. Uncheck "Adjust stroke weight when scaling"
3. Printer prefs > Graphics > images > send data "all" (Needs to be for the application default printer preferences, NOT the current document preferences)
Is there a list available that covers all these things? Can't seem to find them in the Adobe scripting reference or guide.

First thing to do is grasp the difference between name of an object and name of a property
"TransformPreference" is the name of an object -- a 'type', just as "Number" is, and "String", and lots of Others. As sort of convention, these are written with an initial capital. You cannot assign a value to an object; you need a variable of that type instead. And an object, in turn, may contain new variables (its 'properties').
So, if I say that an Application contains an object TransformPreference that has a property adjustStrokeWeightWhenScaling, you cannot literally copy-and-paste everything together. Besides, you really have to check case usage. Javascript is Case Sensitive!
"app" is the name of the Application object we are working with (you got that right)
the transform preference object is called 'transformPreferences'
and that, in turn, has a boolean 'dimensionsIncludeStrokeWeight' (note case)
So a full assignment line would be
app.transformPreferences.dimensionsIncludeStrokeWeight = false;
or, in the alternative notation
with(app.transformPreferences) {
dimensionsIncludeStrokeWeight = false;
adjustStrokeWeightWhenScaling = false;
(which reminds me, where did you ever get "ScaleStrokes" from?)
The Print Preference thingy is something different. The "application" doesn't have any print preferences you can set! Only a Document or a Book (which is kind of a document, I suppose) can have these. The print preferences are what "get changed" if you take a print preset and change those before actually pressing the 'print' button.
The short of it is that you cannot set default 'print preferences' for the program; however, that ought not to be a problem because that's what Print Presets are for. And you don't need a script to save/restore these.

Set defaults for contacts

HI,
Can anyone tell me how to set the defaults for the contacts. Right now when I save a number in the contacts it is automatically set as a "work" number. I want it to automatically be a mobile number. This will save a lot of cut and pasting. Thanks.

Any user got any thoughts on these anomolies??

Hello, i have the 11.101 version and I imported all my contacts via PC suite and I CAN use the defaults option and the ringtone can be anything I want (apart for video ringtones-they don't work).

Cannot set Windows 7 default printer in Boot Camp

I discovered today that I cannot set a default printer in Windows 7. I right click, and try to make one of the printers default but there is no check mark. One of the programs that I use says I do not have a printer installed.
I can print to my printers using Word by selecting the printer that I want but cannot select a default in control panel.
If I access Windows programs using a VM Fusion, the program that says there is no printer installed in boot camp, does not give be this message and I can select a printer. BTW, I have never been able to select a "default printer" using VM Fusion.
The only thing unusual is I had to reactivate Windows for no apparent reason last week and I cannot select all of the Themes available in the personalize menu.
It is difficult to pinpoint when the printer issue started because I mainly access my Windows programs through VM Fusion. I am guessing the changes happened when I had to reactivate Windows
I am away from my iMac currently and was wondering if anyone has experienced this and/or have a suggestion.?

Update.
Apparently this is a Windows Registry issue. Looks as if there is a VM Fusion driver set as default (thinprint??) I cannot delete or modify this registry key. A new profile solves this issue and I will have to copy everything over to the new profile, if I cannot get this registry key issue solved. I will post on a Microsoft board to see if there is a solution.

I cannot set FF to the default page

I cannot set the default home page in FF 3.6. When I try I get an error messagge, "GOOGLE ERROR".When I try to set the home page "GOOGLE.CN" appears as opposed to either the GOOGLE home page, or the FF default home page. I un and reinstalled FF to no avail. Is this issue caused by the GOOGLE error? Will it go away on its own if I wait long enough? If I update to a newer FF will this go away? Is there a site where I can see screen shots of the newest version of FF BEFORE I download it and then find I do not like it? I stayed with 3.6 because I do not like version 4. Xcelsius Scenario Button cannot set the Default Scenario

I am facing a problem with the Scenario Button in Xcelsius the problem is i cannot set the Default Scenario in the Dashboard .
I can save load delete the the scenario but if i have 3 scenario and i want to make one of them as default is does not work.
I think there is some browser setting for this and i have already configured the storage setting for the browser .

Thanks for your update, I think this really helps me. And I have one more question.
I have seen a SAP notes regarding the Scenario function, the content is as below.
You use the Local Scenario button to save the final result of a specific simulation (created scenario) and return to it in the future. It only saves the scenario on the local machine where it was created. So you can access the scenario from the same machine, but you cannot transfer scenarios from one computer to another.
As per the note we can't transfer scenarios from one computer to another, my question is: If we publish the dashboard to inforview and save the scenario, the scenario will be saved in the BOE repositary or still on the local PC, and could the scenario be able to share among different users?

I do not have a question, but would like to have a good discussion on how you should preferably be setting default values on a business partner and it's assignment blocks.
In my opinion you have two main alternatives:
1. The "old fashioned" way by using the get_<attribute_name> method and doing some checks for the perticular attribute in the context node.
2. Using the Badi BADI_CRM_BP_UIU_DEFAULTS to fill fields with a default value. With some enhancements on the assignment blocks (making typed_context attribute public and, when not called yet, calling the badi) you can use the badi for all assignment blocks.
Because I discovered via debugging that in the, by many forums suggested, badi code a programm error/exception is used so that the default values are only set during creation mode, I started doubting to use the badi. Because once I had set my data declarations to the right references and the exception did not occur anymore, suddenly it always fills the values even when there are already values filled. So additional checks are needed to assure that I am in creation mode.
Although I like the use of the badi, because all my default values on the whole business partner object can be found in the same place, it is getting a bit strange to: first still enhance the view and context node class, adjust the visibility of the typed_context, call the badi and do all kind of checks to assure that you are in the right view/context node, where this all is faster and more lean and mean when done directly in the get_<attribute_name> method on a context node.
Anyone who wants to give there opinion on this?

Unfortunately you cannot pass the Account and Contact name before saving the record. Post default tries to capture the name just before the record gets saved, but as the record is yet to be created, the relationship wont exist and only the respective id fields will have values. If you try using account id/ contact id it will work else just pass the time stamp in the name field which will make sure there is some value when the record is saved. later in the back end you might need WS to update the field values.
