Cannot set up a microphone in surround mixer - SB Audigy 2 - updated with new drive

hy!
i cannot set up a microphone in surround mixer. this happend since i update the old drivers from CD rom (got with my audio card SB Audigy 2)with new drivers from your update site (SBAX_PCDRV_LB_2_8_000). i have made 2 screenshots that you can also see my problem. http://shrani.si/f/3J/pj/Py0pLJs/sb-audigy-2.jpg and http://shrani.si/f/3V/AO/hFfBELP/sb-audigy-2-2.jpg
on the pictures you can see that i can choose only between "cd digital/ s/pdif-in" or "cd digital/auxiliary". there is no microphone to choose. i didnt have that problem with older drivers!
have i installed a wrong audio card drivers or something?
please help!

ok. i have found a beta driver and i will try it.i?hope it work since nobody doesnt reply on this thread!
EDIT: now i can use microphone and for now its working just fine.
it would be nice from you that you tell me about this beta drivers. i spend a few hours to find drivers that could work!

I've just installed Windows 7 and I see that the old XP Surround Mixer is no longer working.
I know that?Windows has a sound?mixer, but it is?really annoying and incomplete.
Is there a functional Creative Surround Mixer that I can use with Windows 7?

I would like answers to your question also. Since re-installing, & losing surround mixer, I have sacrificed?most functions with regards to 5./7. sound. As you say, Window's own software is sub-standard when using the card. I love the Audigy2 ZS Platinum and want to get it up and running to its full glorious potential.

HT1553 I did the back up as instructed... Installed a larger hard drive and followed the restore instructions... Now I get a white screen with a folder icon and blinking question mark. When trying to set startup with new drive I get a bless tool error...

If you have installed a new hard drive , you will need to have formatted it in Disk Utility correctly. This may explain your problem.
Boot into your 10.6 Install disk again at the top menubar > Utilities > select Disk utility and in there select your new hard drive, and select the tab Erase and choose to make the format as Mac OS Extended Journaled. When that is finished look in the main window to make sure that the partition map scheme says GUID Partition Table.
Now go to the Restore tab and reinstall from your backup.

Creative Surround Mixer for Audigy SE / Vist

creative are force all us to change to x-fire, i cant belei've creative cant make software for audigy when vista is about year old.
Creative just lies to us. (as alchemy that supose to by only for x-fire)
PD: i have audigy2 SZ and i wont change to x-fire or another creative product, this is simply the last creative product for me

I cannot get itunes to open on my sony vaio after i updated to new version. i tried to uninstall and re install but hasnt fixed problem. any help?

I updated Itunes a while ago from 9. something to 10.3
When i did this my computer usage went to 100% and basically froze. The only way to get computer working was to end tasks and processes in task manager.
I uninstalled itunes and then reinstalled it. since doing this i cannot even get itunes to open???
I cant update my phone to change handset from iphone 4 to 4s that ive had for a month now.
Any help?

You may have to find the download folder for the browser you are using and launch the installer from there. Another option you may want to try is using another browser to download and install iTunes. The following Knowledge Base article offers up some steps for how to download iTunes using Windows Internet Explorer:

HT1937 I cannot set up my voice mailbox, I just go round and round with it, I want it in English and when I press one for English I get Spanish.

When I tap on Phone/Voicemail I get taken to a screen that asks me to press one to have my voice mail in English and when I do it comes out in Spanish, on that second screen the word Greetings never appears.

Cannot connect wirelessly to HP Photosmart C4380 with new driver/software

I have been using my HP Photosmart C4380 for years without a problem. I've upgraded to OS X Yosemite v.10.10.4 and with that I regularly do automatic driver updates through the Apple Software Update. Recently my wireless connection to the printer stopped working. In the past I simply reconnected it via USB and ran the Network Wizard Setup app to reconnect it to the network. I can't seem to find that app anymore with the new software updates. I've tried configuring it through the new HP Utility app to no avail. The Setup New Device and HP Auto Wireless Connect options cannot locate my printer unless connected to USB and will not give me an option to configure the network settings. I have referenced http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c04510394/ also with no luck. The printer does not have a Wireless Wizard Setup on it's LCD options as per Step 1 under the wireless connection instructions. And the WPS option in Step 2 does not work becuase the wifi button on the printer only brings up the Network menu where my only options are to turn the wireless radio on/off and to print a configuration page. There are no options to connect to a network. Connecting the printer to my laptop via USB works in a pinch if I need to print something, but I'd like to not be tethered to it and restore my wifi connection which used to work in the past.

I reset the printing system. Still not having any luck. I can only get my printer as far as a temporary 169.254.207.168 IP address. That brings me to this page with two tabs. In this tab, I'm able to change the SSID to my network and add the WEP. I've tried both Infrastructure and Ad Hoc (since I didn't know which to use) but both have not been successful. The page times out after awhile and I click my wifi setting to check the connection. I can then connect to my printer whose name has changed from hpsetup to my network name...but is still listed under devices. So I click on that device and run another newtork config page and I still get the same 169.254.207.168 IP address. So then I tried two things:1. Switching over to my actual wifi network with the name network name. This does not read my printer anymore and I get an 0.0.0.0 IP address2. While connected to the network listed under devices, I tried adding the Printer in my Printer & Scanner settings. This works and prints, but only when connected under the devices wifi, and not my normal wifi. When I switch to my normal wifi and try to print, it can no longer find the printer. I seem to be having trouble getting an 192.168 IP address for my printer so that it can read on my normal Wifi network without being listed as just a device....

Cannot Sync iTunes 10.6.3 (iMac PPc OsX 10.5.8) with new iPhone 5s

Recently purchased an iPhone 5s. When I connected the phone via USB, an error message popped up saying "iTunes cannot recognize "iPhone". Update to iTunes 11."
I cannot update to iTunes 11. My computer is an iMac Power PC G5. It's operating system is OSX 10.5.8. The iTunes I have on this computer is iTunes 10.6.3. When I select "Update", I get a message that iTunes is up to date.
I can't do "Sync with iTunes over Wi-Fi." It requires OSX 10.6.8.
Does anyone out there have any suggestions/alternatives on how I can transfer my music and photo albums to my new phone.
Right now, purchasing a new computer is not in the plans.

Your PPC Mac is not compatible with the iPhone 5s. Basically they're from two different OS worlds.

Cannot install Creative Sound Mixer for Audigy 2 Platinum card - he

I've have this card and software working fine in my system for a couple of years. I just did a clean install to clear up some issues, and when I try to insert my Creative application disc and install the software, I get a blue screen every time with a STOP 9C error. I installed most of the applications I actually wanted manually but I cannot find/download/install the Creative Surround mixer which I would like to have. Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

The blue screen is puzzling. But you should find a setup.exe on the installation CD in /Audio/SurMixer. Run that to install the Surround Mixer.

Sound Audigy 2.....Microphone option is not showing up in Surround Mixer!!!!

I just updated the Sound Card Driver and when I finished with it and restarted my computer. It reset all my settings in Surround Mixer. I got them back to where i had them but not I can't get my microphone option back. I can only get What U Hear. The drop down menu is missing the microphone option. How can I restore this?
What started this all was from getting a new Logitech G5 keyboard. My sound was all crackling and some things was repeating itself while playing World of Warcraft. So i was told to update the driver, which didn't help but now my Surround Mixer is giving me heck.

Vista? Control Panel -> Sound -> Recording (tab) and make sure only ! device is set as the default, this should resoter your ability to choose the mic in the audio [email protected]

Audigy 2 ZS - Surround Mixer - REC setting greyed

Hi! I can't select my sound input device in the surround mixer anymore. Here is a picture:

As you can see the slider is greyed out. My microphone works just fine, but I cannot adjust the volume anymore.
I'm using Windows XP, I recently installed Skype and TeamSpeak (checked both programs, the input settings are NOT on "automatic", so the Creative Surround Mixer should be where I adjust the input volume)
I can use the windows settings to select another recording device and adjusting the volume also works, but I want to use the creative mixer, this worked in the past and I want it back
Any ideas? Maybe I'm missing something important.

Installed the speaker preset for li've!surround but the only headphone, 2 speaker, 4 speaker, and 5. speaker shows up on speaker configuration of the Surround Mixer
i've played the AC3 files on the cdrom and Dolby pro logic surround, I get sound from all fi've speakers on my Denon D-850 w/ Dolby surround pro-logic
I can't use the surround mixer to test all the speakers, only front left and right speakers work on the test, i have to open to wav files directly to test the center speaker, the rear speaker test doesn't work from the wav file
My Denon system only has analog stereo inputs, so this is my only option for letting Sound Blaster know I have 5 speakers.
I've uninstalled all SB Li've software and drivers from the unipack, and reinstalled the orignal drivers and apps from the CD-ROM SBP5-CDSD-W-US MID : 32680 5-Sep-2000 and the Li've!Surround speaker setting reappears in the Surround Mixer.
Is the Li've!Surround setting no longer available in the new Surround Mixer in Li'veDrvUni-Pack (English) SBLW-XPWEB-W4-US 28-Feb-03 ?

it seems Li've Surround is no longer supported in the new drivers
....so what would be the best setting to play ac3 files or DVD's through my receiver with only 2 analog inputs (left and right) available w/ Dolby surround prologic. Should I set it to 2 speaker or 4 speaker setting in the Surround Mixer in order to send the best signal to the prologic decoder on my receiver with 5 speakers (2 front, center, 2 rear)

Surround Mixer doesn't keep setti

This a problem that occurs every day. When I choose a speaker config and EAX Advanced EQ setting, the speaker config sticks but the EQ setting doesn't. Rarely it will stick from day to day. This has been happening since I purchased the product - a couple years ago. I'm just tired of it and would like a fix. I have the latest drivers - which are pretty old anyway (any updates coming?).

Now I tried it with the Cleansweep. Still didn't work. On my CD, the file CTZAPXX.EXE was located in \audio\common\ instead of what was posted. It also crashed again.
I also tried "Creative3" for the folder name this time. Yes, I deleted the other one. After installation, I ended up with two folders again. Creative and Creative 3.
I need this **bleep** Mixer back. Can't do anything without it.
Please post a solution for this ASAP. Thanks.
UPDATE: Tried to install the Surround Mixer separately, but again it said it found the same version on my system. This is most definitely a registry problem.

My operating system was Win98 and Creative SB Li've Value was working without any problems...
But I changed the OS to Windows XP Pro, and now when I open creative surround mixer, I get message..
Can some-one advise me something about this problem please?

Did you install a driver package from the website?
After you install an XP driver (the original CD is not meant for XP), check in Control Panel > Sounds & Audio that the card is selected as the Playback Device.
