Cannot set up users on iMac since I updated to 10.4.4. Please help!
I have just rebuilt 2 of my computers in my class room and when I start the computer up I only get the admin screen to log into the server. I cannot set up users in preferences. I can get online and connect to the server via admin but my students cannot log in with their own accounts. What have I done wrong?
Recently I updated to Leopard 10.4.6
You appear to confused with which which Mac OS you have; Leopard is 10.5
you mention: 10.6, 10.4 and 10.5
Click on the Apple menu > About this Mac this will show the actual Mac OS you have
I looked in applications on the harddrive and iwork version 4.0
There is no such version as "iWork 4"
open Keynote and go to Keynote > About Keynote
Provide the correct information and you will get a reply based on the correct software versions

I recently upgraded to the ios 7.04 and ever since I am unable to download apps to my ipod (5th gen).

Some other apps say iOS 4+ but don't list the iPod Touch 2nd gen in the description, so I'm guessing they just don't work no matter the OS. However, the apps listed above say OS 3+ and just say ipod touch, so I think they should work. I'm running iTunes 10.3 but not the most recent release, and am updating as I type just in case that's the problem. Thanks for any help or advice! -
I purchased mountain lion, but after numerous attempts until my fingers all gone numb, i simply cannot install it on my imac. i get this error message: "an error occurred while installing OS X, you cannot install OS X on this disk......".

I have a 80gb ipod classic and i cannot get it to sync anymore since I updated my itunes. Does anyone have any suggestions on what i should do?
Does the device show up in Windows Explorer when connected?
Have you tried going into Control Panel > Programs & Features > iTunes > Repair?
Have you proved the cable with a different device, or the device's connectivity with a different computer?

HELP!!!! My Hotmail no longer works with Safari v. 5.0.6 and my Imac Leopard operating system 10.5.8. Please help me with any suggestions on what to do. Thank you. I cannot find any new downloads for Safari that work with Leopard. The newest ones only work with Lion. My Firefox browser still works though but I would rather use Safari and cannot access any e-mails or send any e-mails via Safari. This happened about 3 weeks ago and I thought it was just a glitch on Hotmail's site. Now I realize Hotmail must have released an update that no longer works with Leopard 10.5.8. PLEASE HELP ME!!!! Thanks to anyone and everyone who reads this and attempts to help me. I do not know what to do....

They did change it to Outlook recently, but while not pretty, I can access mine with Safari 4.0 still...
You can also set it up in Mail so you don't need a browser at all if you want. -

Thank youI found this strange glitch that wouldn't let me open my iTunes Store. I tried all the reset options and still iTunes would close a second after it opened. I fixed this. Instead of using the iTunes Store icon on your home page to open it. Go into music and click on store. It will say "Cannot Connect To Store". Just tap ok. Then tap on "featured" on the bottom of the screen. That will take you to the store front page. After that is loaded. Back out and the icon for iTunes Store on the home page should work just fine. Hope that helps.

I would "guess", since you were in the middle of backing up, your backup is corrupt & most likely unusable. Only one way to find out though, & that's by trying to restore from that backup. If your pics are not there, they are gone.

I have the same problem as Sheilaza but haven't been able to solve it using the advice offered. The same problem applies to my Calendars. When I look at my iPad settings in iTunes, it says:
Sync Contacts
Your contacts are being synced with your iPad over the air from iCloud.
Over-the-air sync settings can be changed on your iPad.
and the same for Calendars.
On the iPad, in iCloud settings, I have checked 'Contacts' and 'Calendars' as 'ON' but the Calendar remains blank and the Contacts are a very old version that was somehow created when I set up the iPad initially.
Any ideas?

I am not able to access my photos through the photo application... when I click on the photo app, I can see the camera roll, but a transparent "album" screen is over it and I cannot click on the photos to see it... can any one please help ???
Known bug. Quit the Camera App, double-tap the home key and delete Camera from the recent apps bar. Fire it up again, should be good.

To do this, Apple will send a verification email to your account and you must respond to the email by clicking the Verify Now link. Make sure you are check the spam/junk folder as well as the inbox. If it isn't there, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage your Apple ID, sign in, click on Name, ID and Email addresses on the left, then to the right click Resend under your Primary Email Address to resend the verification email.

When I try to link my Macbook to my TV, I cannot find the "Arrangement" button that would lead me to "Mirror Display". Please help!
The Arrangement tab only appears in System Preferences Displays pane if a second display is recognized by the system (the OS). So it seems like your MacBook is not seeing the TV as being connected.
Describe the video connection between MacBook and TV... What type of video out port does your MacBook model have? How is it converted to the type of port used on the TV? -
