Cannot set up web services on HP Laser Jet CP1025nw

I keep getting a communications error message/check internet connection.  I can print over my network just fine.  I have an IP assigned to the printer that is outside the DHCP range.  I have read lots of posts but nothing has fixed the issue.  Please help.  I have also tried using Google's DNS addresses.  I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the software.

DPE65,
If I understand correctly, you are having issues getting web services enabled.
Do you have a static IP address assigned to the printer?
I would recommend assigning one that is in the DHCP range and then also using the Google DNS servers.
8.8.8.8 for the primary and 8.8.4.4 for the secondary or alternate.
Try that and report back to me if it helps.
Best of luck,
Kyle

Wireless connection setup with no problem for printing (static IPs all around with WEP). Opened port on CA firewall but not on router(?) Can print across wireless network but cannot connect to web services. Thinking that I need to enter DNS(s) but cannot find anywhere to enter them.

    Hi,
Open your browser and type in the ip adress of your printer. This will bring you to an internal page of the aio. On the networking tab you shouild be able to set your dns.

  • HP Color Laserjet PRO MFP M177FW Cannot connect to web services

I bought a HP Color Laserjet PRO MFP M177FW  today and I set up it. It can print and scan over wireless network. However, It cannot connect to web services correctly. I set the DNS numbers with google DNS addresses. I changed its IP address with manually. The IP address is unique. Normally It doesn't enable/remove webservices. But when I restart it, it can do for few minutes. It can take an e-mail address but It doesn't print any information sheet. When I try to print a sheet It says "Connection Problem" at first few minutes and later it says "Connecting"and it waits, there is no error message. What am I suppossed to do? Please help me.

  • Setting up Web Services

    Hello,
I'm new to the forums, so please bear with me. I bought an HP all-in-one wireless printer, model 6520, and I am able to connect wireless to the printer and print, but I cannot connect to Web Services. It asks me to use a proxy service, but I don't have that with my ISP. How can I fix this problem?

I would try to correct that by first Power cycling the router and the device at the same time.
     To do that:
    1. Unplug the router (most do not have a power button) and then power
off the printer using the power button
    2. Wait 30 seconds
    3. plug router back in, wait for it to be fully up and functioning.
    4. Turn printer back on
    5. After printer is fully up and functioning reattempt to connect to web services
If still getting that error message I would set a static DNS through the embedded Web Server (EWS)
    1. Get the IP address for the printer and pull up a browser (IE, Chrome, whatever browser you want) and enter
that printer's IP address in the address bar. This will bring up the EWS
    2. Look for the tab that is labeled Network and click on it
    3. Then click IPv4 in the left column, wired/ wireless will depend on the connection, if connected by Ethernet
choose wired, of wireless choose wireless
    4. When that page load look at the second part that is labeled "DNS Address Configuration" change that radio
button to manual and change the Manual Preferred DNS to 8.8.8.8 and the Manual Alternative DNS to
    8.8.4.4 and then click apply.
    5. Pay careful attention the the next screen that appears that message usually is a way to undo changes just
made by clicking that "OK" button. Avoid that by clicking on another tab
or just leave it until ready to close it.
    6. Power cycle the printer and then turn it back on
    7. Once printer is back on and functioning, reattempt to enable web
    services.
While in the EWS of the printer look for a section in the left column  under General that is titled " Proxy settings". Click on that. It will ask you if you want to proceed because it will say the site is not secure, choose continue (not recommended) and check and see if the settings on that page for the proxies are blank.

  • P1102w cannot enable "HP WEB SERVICES" for sprintConnection error" check

I have a new printer which works fine for wifi printing but I'd like to use web printing which I beleive is called eprint.
I printed the configuration page and my firmware is 20120814
I cannot see were my printers email address is.
I navigated to the printers url and clicked on the tab "hp web services" and clicked on the green button enable but I keep getting the following error message.
    "connection error: check internet connection"
From the router I can see that both the laptop and printer are on the same network 192.168.0.??
Can you please advise I suspect I have a fault on the printer but cannot be certain what can I do, I have updated the software on my mac which is running mavericks 10.9.2 , I've even hit the update software and there is no further updates available whch should mean I have the latest software and firmware for the printer.
Please advise how I may overcome the error when there clearly is no network issue as I can get to the printer to print and go to its web pages without any issues at all?

    Hi  paz_egap,
Thank you for the thorough response, I appreciate it.
Since you have set a static ip with manual DNS servers and you are still cannot enabled the web services is the firmware up-to-date on the printer.  Please follow the steps in Getting the Firmware and Product Updates.  Once the firmware is current and the printer still has its manual ip address and manual DNS servers you should be okay to enabled the web services on the printer.
If you are still having an issue after completing the above please call HP’s Cloud Services at 1-855-785-2777 if you live in the USA/Canada region.  If you live outside the USA/Canada region please click here to find the Technical Support number for your country/region.

I have been trying to set-up my new Envy 5530 printer and I can get the printer, computer, and wireless network to communicate with each other. However, when I try to get the printer and network to talk to each other to set up Web Services and HP Connections, the printer tries to download the latest product updates and has a server error saying it cannot connect to the server It wants me to check the connections or set a proxy server address. Also, when I try to get a claim code printed, I run into this same issue. Help!!

  • Failure to set up Web Services in SJSAS for flash AS 2

    Hi there,
I recently set up web services to expose my business logics in EJB3, which resides in Sun Java System Application Server 9.1.
After all server side configurations are done and flash has detected the web service, I found the skeleton of WSDL of target web service cannot be interpreted by flash.
The reason behind is the skeleton of WSDL generated by wsgen.exe, a program in <JDK_HOME>\bin, is not standard form of WSDL. The schema part ( in the type definition ) in WSDL is stored in and XML file and the Message Type in WSDL is stored in that XML file. This causes flash cannot interpret the Message Element in the target WSDL.
I assure both the server and client have been configured correctly as I have implemented the same setup in ASP.NET. And it works perfectly there cuz the WSDL generated from a Web Service Object in ASP.Net contains all the necessities needed for SOAP.
I would like to ask how can I modify the WSDL after deployment in SJSAS?
    Thanks

sorry for typing mistake in last post.

What I mean is the schema part of WSDL is stored in another xml file. And flash interpret the message element, it needs to refer to the schema. But what causes the problem is that flash can get the external schema, so it just claims the message element attribute cannot be referenced.

  • "Cannot log into Web service" error when tying to use Wifi to connect to Google Drive or Facebook

We have a relatively new Canon Powershot s120.  Up until a few days ago, it worked just fine to connect to the Wifi and upload pictures to both Google Drive and Facebook.  Now, every time I try to connect, I get a message "Cannot log into Web service"
I have already tried removing Google Drive from the Camera and re-adding it.  I went into the Canon Image Gateway website and disconnected and then reconnected the service.  That didn't do anything.
Would really appreciate any tips anyone has.
    Thanks!

Problem sorted - there is a new set of terms and conditions which came out on the 6th August.
You have to log in under your current user name & password and agree to them and it works again. I spent a frustrating hour doiung this until I found out that this had happened!

  • Cannot Connect to Web Servicea

I cannot use Web Services. I connected my printer to my bridged Apple Time Capsule successfully and my HP Photosmart 7520 wireless network test identifies no problems. When I click on a Web Service item on the home screen, the printer then asks to accept the Web Service's terms of use. I selected "accept" and then it asks if I want to turn on automatic updates. I select yes and then it transitions to a screen where it is checking for product updates. Immediately, it returns to the first screen asking if I accept Web Service's the terms of use. That continue to occur every time no matter how many time I repeat the process. There are no error messages. Lastly, this same thing happens when I go to the setting of Web Services and try to enable Web Services or select ePrimt. I can review Product Updates under Web Services and it will successfully identify that my version is the most up to date.
    Additional infrmation.
I use ADSL services from DOCOMO in Tokyo, Japan. The connection at my house already provides DHCP services so my Apple Time Capsule is set to Bridge mode to prevent Double NAT issues. I tried setting the printer to automatic IP configuration and manual and received the same results. When I tried manual settings, I tried many settings. First I set my router to DHCP and tried it with the Double NAT error. I set the IP address outside of the DHCP range, put the gateway as the DOCOMO IP address, and set the DNS the same as the routers. Next I changed the DNS to google's 8.8.8.8 and alternate 8.8.4.4. Next I setup my router to Bridge Mode and tried the above settings again. In addition, I tried using both my DOCOMO IP address and Router IP address and received the same results. I also used both DNS settings as identified above.
All of my electronic devices, iPhones, iPads, Samsung TVs, Panasonic TVs, Samsung DVD players, Samsung DVD players, laptops, and even the HP Photosmart 7520 works fine on my network except the HP Web Services.
Thank you for any assistance and please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

    Hi TheDoc1961,
I would like to help you with your Web Server issue. I suggest the you Reset the Printer. Then I recommend just setting a static IP address on the printer, instead of being set from the router. If you would like to do this, follow these steps:
Enter the IP address for the printer into the address bar of the browser of your choice.
Click on the tab "Network" (at the top)
Look in the left column on the new page that will pop up and select IPv4, wired. That will bring up the page to set the manual IP address & manual DNS.
Then, for the Manual preferred/Primary DNS, set it to 8.8.8.8 and the Manual Alternative/Secondary to 8.8.4.4; then click apply.
Let me know if this helped.
    Thank you,

  • Laserjet Color MFP M276nw Cannot connect to Web Services, tried every suggestion on forum

I've tried every suggestion possible on the forum. I opened up all ports suggested by HP support on my Belkin wireless N600 router. Changed DMZ to IP address on printer. We even directly wired ethernet to printer, still cannot connect to Web Services. Now I have to wait till April 4 for a engineer to call me back. Everything else is working fine. I can print wirelessly from my laptop & smartphone. Just cannot access Web Services, oh & firmware is up to date on printer & router. We changed DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4.

It sounds like you have done everything to connect the web services.  Web services will not connect if you are on a guest network but if you are connected via ethernet it should be on the right band.  What is the printer's IP address? Sometimes it can be too high. Is this for a company that has a proxy on the network?  How far away is the printer from the router?  Are there any metal shelves, wireless devices or anything else near the printer or between the printer and the router?  Check that the router is on Channel 11.
--Printer Does Not Connect To Web Services--
Have you heard back from the engineer?  I am anxious to know how it went.  I am happy to help if they don't, otherwise keep me posted on what happens.  I possibly have one more step for you.
Don't forgot to say thanks by giving "Kudos" if I helped solve your problem.

I'm sorry to hear that you are having problems with your print apps not printing as scheduled.
To better assist you, would you please provide some further information:
Has there been any changes to your home network (new internet provider, new router, or new network password)?
Are you able to send to print jobs to the printer's ePrint email address?
