Cannot share to email

"Share -Email this page" in Safari, will send a link rather than the page, and will use Thunderbird, and not the Mac mail.
Any remedy ?

Mail > Preferences > General
Default email reader: Mail 6.2
Safari
Click Share icon and select "Email this Page".
When Mail window opens up, click "Send Web content As" and select "Web Page".

TS3899 I cannot share by email on iPhone 4

All other email sends but anything from Safari, when using the share by email function, just vanishes. It doesn't go to the sent items... nothing. I told a colleague who tried it and it didn't work for him either. He uses iPhone 4S. All other email functions work. Anyone else experience this?

This is not good, Apple making users like yourself start from scratch for a problem which lies with their servers screwing up for the past few days!
Wouldn't it be nice if Apple acknowledged the problem, at least on their iCloud system status page: http://www.apple.com/support/icloud/systemstatus/

Cannot Share via Email

When I try to share a photo via email, iPhoto begins processing, I get a message that iPhoto is preparing the photo for email. My computer then opens Mail, but then I get an error message under the finder. The error says "Mail Got an Error: Can't make class outgoing message."
Any ideas?

What are your settings for email in the iPhoto Preferences? You may want to switch from iPhoto as an email client to Mail.app - see Old Toad's post here:

Cannot share documents between On-Premises and Online Users by email invitation

We have a hybrid setup, no problems with email communications between on-premises and Microsoft Online users. We have also activated online Onedrive/sharepoint to start testing. One interesting thing is that users Online can share their documents by inviting
users who are on Microsoft Online, On-premises and outside this two systems. But the problem is with the users who are on-premises cannot share their documents by email invitation with the other users who are also on-premises, they can share the documents
with the users who are online only. When they try to share documents by email invitation they get error messages it their emailboxes saying that;
A communication failure occurred during the delivery of this message. Please try resending the message later. If the problem continues, contact your helpdesk.

It seems some kind of relay should be granted on my CAS servers or something like that but I am not sure of what should be added. I am just stuck as to what next step and where to start looking for the problem

No, just wanted to share documents using the invitation by mail in sharepoint/onedrive. We can share the documents normally without the email notification. Sorry to mention that even the users who are Online cannot share documents in sharepoint/onedrive
between themselves, so not between user on-premises and online users. For example a user selects a document in the library, click share and tick on by email, just gets an error

Cannot send iphoto through share to email

Iphoto was working fine until suddenly, I cannot send a photo through share to email. Computer says it does not rec. id and password. Have been all around this and still no luck.

In the iPhoto preferences ==> accounts delete the account and re-enter it
Or
IMHO the better solution is to set Mail as the email client in the iPhoto preferences

I cannot share a document in Pages anymore via email. Do I need to update IWork?
I have OX Yosemite Version 10.2.

In Yosemite, Pages '09 v4.3 has dropped functionality for the Share menu ▸ Send via Mail. You will need to export to disk, and then drag/drop into Mail.
You should be running Pages v5.5.2 (current) on Yosemite. Otherwise, update from the App Store. Whether from the Share menu, or the Toolbar Share icon, I have not experienced Send a Copy ▸ Mail failing to export and attach documents to Mail.

Cannot share documents via email in Preview...why?

I have osx Mountain Lion on my Macbook Pro, as does my wife on hers. One really neat feature in Preview is the ability to "share" via email any open document. My wife can do this, but on my system there is no email option when I click the share icon. Why so? I've checked every setting I can think of.

To share either select the link (paperclip) icon on the right of the file or folder list.
Cut and paste the link into an email you send your friends. Do not use the "share this" option in Dropbox as it forces them to join.
You can test it after deleting your browser cache and cookies - you will no longer be signed in to Dropbox but the link should work fine.

But overall, compressor is always buggy and slow.
It can be slow. I have not found it to be buggy in pretty extensive testing.
If you're exporting a master file for use in Compressor, do not export a heavily compressed file like H.264 MPEG-4. Export a master file in ProRes in the same specs as the original.
The other option you can use is to create a custom preset in Compressor and then from inside FCP export using Compressor settings.
In my testing a two and a half minute project with titles and dissolves between each shot going to SD using Compressor settings took about real-time, slightly longer than two and a half minutes. If you're getting results substantially different from this it's either because you have very complex effects that need to be processed or you have a hardware problem in your system or drives.

Cannot share photos with photo sharing

i am having trouble rouble with shared photo streams, I'll recieve the invite and as soon as I accept I always get the message that "this photo stream is no longer shared! How can I sort this out?
I also have family sharing on but the family share album is nowhere to be found in my photos app, if I look at my sons iPad it shows he is subscribed to the family album set up by me and if I send a new photo share request nobody ever recieves it!

Share via email & twitter not working on iOS7

When I try to share via email in Safari the email never sends. I enter an email address that I know works, and it looks like it's sending but it never ends up in my mailbox. I've shared via email successfully from other apps (like Pocket) and I've checked the spam folder but the email doesn't appear to have ever actually been sent.
Oddly I also cannot send via Twitter from Safari or Pocket, both give me a "connection failed" error.
This has been happening since I got an iPhone 5c (running ios7) to which I restored the data & settings from my iPhone 4 running ios6).
Help!

In iphoto I select the photos to send, click on share and email. I setup the email in iphoto and iphoto sorted out all the pop3 & SMTP settings all i had to do was put my email & password in. Since its gone wrong I have got an ipad but no changes to my email settings.
I have been looking at the 'mail' which is also setup for hotmail and I can't send emails from there either so i don't think there is a problem with iphoto.

Not having access to your email on your phone must be driving you crazy! We'll definitely help get it working with you. Is this the Ravine or the Ravine 2? What kind of email address are you trying to activate onto your phone? You said that you cannot get emails, but are you able to send them? Please share details so we can help.

Even though there's no error code, please let me know the exact error message so that I can start researching on this issue.
