Cannot sign back in to my FaceTime

I have been having connectivity difficulties with FaceTime on my iMac (10.6.8) and so I signed out of FT about 2 weeks ago. I tried to sign in yesterday and then today again, and I got the "The server encountered an error processing registration. Please try again later." I know that my Apple ID and pw is valid and I am not a new registrant. I will NOT update to the new OS. Help!!

I'm in the exact same situation as you. My FaceTime for Snow Leopard just konked out yesterday. I have tried all the known fixes: correcting the date & time; correcting my hosts file; deleting the system preferences files; deleting the keychain certificate; --- Nothing has worked. I know that my apple ID is not the issue because I wouldn't be able to post this otherwise. I also do NOT want to upgrade my OS so I really hope they haven't stopped supporting FaceTime for 10.6.8......

Having the same issue but it seems to be everything - messages, phone, contact, viber. It's made my phone completely useless!! I open it, opens it, doesn't load anything but the white page and then it goes back to the home screen.
I can't even go back to a phone back up as it wont connect to itunes any more - says it needs to be updated - app store has no update for itunes.

Because there is nothing to sign in to. Photoshop.com was shut down last summer. If you had any photos there you should have received a bunch of emails about your photos being moved to Revel, but you can't use revel from within PSE 10. You must use a web browser, or if you have a mac, there's a free app in the mac app store. More about what to do to avoid the sign-in problem:

Cannot sign in to iMessage and Facetime with Apple ID (only one or the other)

I have an iPhone 5 running the latest iOS (on AT&T), not jailbroken.
I have recently got family to use Facetime and have been using it more and have noticed I am unable to use my Apple ID for both Facetime and iMessage- if I am signed in to one of them, I am unable to sign in to the other- I get in a loop of the phone repeatedly popping up a password entry screen for the Apple ID.
If I cancel the process and sign out of either, I can successfully sign in to the other. But no matter which I sign into first, I cannot sign in to both...
Anyone else had this problem? Anyone solved it?

I THINK I might have found out a fix. First, I went in and signed into iMessages, but left Facetime logged out. I then went in Settings and turned off FaceTime altoghter. Afterwards I went to ensure iMessages was still signed in (Paranoia perhaps lol). Then I went back in and re-enabled FaceTime. The information was inserted back in, but Caller ID for Facetime was unchecked, so I selected my email address instead of phone. And both have oddly been working fine and stayed signed in since. No password requests at all.
I have zero clue why this works, but it does. I only figured it out thanks to obcessive behavoir and inablilty to accept it was broken lol. Anyone else with the issue want to confirm if it works for them as well?

I cannot sign in with iMessage and FaceTime.

My pad run out of battery, after recharge I was no more able to sign in with iMessage and FaceTime.

:go to settings on ipad, click on wifi, then on the right hand side just next to your wifi name there is a blue arrow, click on the blue arrow & look below, there will be a field called DNS, IN the DNS server field just copy and paste the following DNS servers, do not edit anything , just put as it is and also make sure they are no spaces at the start or at the end

TS1368 i updated and syned my ipads yesterday, now I cannot access itunes on either ipad. i tried signing out of my apple id on both, and now I cannot sign back in on either ipad

I have internet connection, and I can access itunes on my computer. in settings - itunes and app store - I signed out of my apple id and tried to sign in again. my Ipad2 says "cannot connect to itunes store" and the ok button. my ipad just sits after I enter my apple id and password and nothing happens.

As I'm a fellow user I don't know when it might be fixed, but you could check that page occasionally to see when it's back up.

I downloaded AIM today and now I cannot sign back onto ichat, help?

I downloaded aim and i can open the ichat application but I cannot do anything else with it. Most of the options when i click the various "Ichat,file, edit, view..." etc are faded and I cannot click anything!

Do you have iChat Open ?
In the iChat Menu > Preferences > Accounts section iss the Screen name set to Allow Multiple Logins ?
Also in the General Section is the Option to Set my Status As Off-line when you Quit iChat selected (if not you are still logged in).

I Cannot Sign in to the Mac App Store

I was not able to down load any apps today so I decided to sign out of the App Store. The problem is now I cannot sign back in. I've tried shutting down/ restarting my computer. I've also tried several suggetions I found on the forums. None of them have worked. Help!!!

What version of the OS did you upgrade from ?
Anything before OS X 10.8.2 may have an issue if the Logic/Mother board has been replaced and the Serial Number not "flashed" back to it.
In the Apple Icon menu use the About this Mac item.
In the new panel click twice on the line that tells you the current OS level
It will change to the Build number (and alternative count to the OS versions) and then the Serial Number.
If it is missing you need to get it replaced.
(It is supposed to be done on Repair or Refurbishment).
An Apple Store or Apple Authorised Service Provider as the best choices.
There are apps you can download (They are Mac Model specific) but needs careful typing as it is a once only trip.

I believe the itouch connects the the wi-fi as i can browse the internet. The apple account seems to work as i can log in using the laptop. I use the same apple account and password as used to get me on this discussions but on itouch it it comes back stating could not sign me in. As anyone else had this issue and if so how did you get it working?

Says its an internet connection issue. It worked fine before on my internet, then I had my logic board fixed with apple. Now I cannot sign in and I know it isn't my apple ID because it works for everything else but those two things. I took it into Jump Plus (an apple store) to get it fixed, they thought it was a software issue and reinstalled my software but that didn't fix it and they said they didn't know what it could be and sent me on my way. Do you have your Mac backed up?
If not, you should use Time Machine to back up your Mac to an external hard drive just "in case".
But if all you did was change your existing ID, then deleting the Calendar infomation from the Mac when you sign out should not be an issue. Since it is the same Apple ID, it is the same iCloud account (just with a different name), so your Contacts, Calendars, etc. are stored in iCloud. When you sign back in, you will have the option to sync Contacts, Calendars, Notes, etc. with iCloud - it should already be checked. Just sign back in, and your iCloud info will re-download to your Mac.
I just tried this, and all of my stuff showed up when I signed back in. Notes took a couple of seconds to load once I opened them, but they are all there.
Note: If you are signing on with a brand new Apple ID, then nothing will be downloaded because it will be an entirely different iCloud account. But if it is the same Apple/iCloud/iTunes ID with just a new email, then it will all be restored.

I *AM* signed into Facetime and iCloud using the same Apple ID. Why am I receiving this error all of a sudden? I make calls using my Mac and need this feature. I have tried disabling and re-enabling both over a dozen times. TRUST ME, it is NOT user error -- it is Apple releasing features before they are fully ready error!

I'm pretty sure we can clarify whether or not we are on a Public Beta or not, despite NDA........

I would like to know how to sign out of facetime and sign back in with a different apple ID

I signed with my apple id on facetime just to see if it was working but i got the computer for my mom and i want to put her apple id instead of mine but i can not figure out how to log out and sign back in a......can any one please help me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
