Cannot Sign in to Ebay ONLY problems, cache, cookies, firewall, what happened???

Hi and thanks in advance for anyone who can help with any suggestions. I downloaded the new version of firefox a few weeks back. The next day I noticed I could not sign in to my Ebay account. I can go anywhere else on the internet and all my sign in/passwords all work fine, only having problems with ebay. I can go on ebay but when I try to actually sign in it says ..

I have been trying for weeks and still cannot get sign in.....it is only happening on my DESKTOP....I can sign in on my phone and on my tablet....also on my sons HP laptop or his HP desktop. I'ts only on my desktop ....I have tried the firewalls. I reregistered and made a new account but once I signed out it won't let me sign in to that one either. I can go anywhere on ebay and click like "security or answer center' and it takes me there, as long as I do not click on the "sign in" part.....I have done so much to fix this in the last few weeks but nothing works.....I don't know what to do....somthing has to be wrong or something got deleted.....firefox is no help because everything on their help page is not working....Please if someone could give me some idea of what happened I would be so grateful!!

The first thing that I would do is try another browser, i.e. Internet Explorer. If your password doesn't work in it, I suggest contacting Ebay Customer Service. This is most likely a software problem; not a hardware problem.

I bought my macbook pro for only a day, and see what happens....

The computer is running pretty laggy a little bit and also I cannot shut it down... When i press shutdown, the only disappeared was the bar on the top. the task bar on the bottom still there.... And when i tries to shut it down by pressing the physical button.. It still wouldn't work....

I can not load gmail properly. It refuses to load and suggests loading Basic HTML for slow connections. I do not have a slow connection and have no problem loading gmail in Explorer. This is happening on both Firefox and Firefox Developer. The Firefox Developer problem just happened with the new upload this evening. Regular Firefox has been happening for a couple of months. It happens on both my work computer and my home computer. I tried everything suggested including the suggestion to delete cookies, cache, and the cookies.sqlite file.

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History > Show All History" or "View > Sidebar > History") or via the about:permissions page.
Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks, cookies, passwords, cache, history, and exceptions, so be cautious and if you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.
You can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of the involved files.
It doesn't have any lasting effect, so if you revisit such a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.
Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

I just corrected my problem. After connecting to the TV, go to System Preferences, Sound, and select the HDMI rather than Internal Speakers.

It's been so long since I bought my macbook pro in August of 2010, but I do remember the iwork disk that had pages, numbers, and keynote on it, but I can't find the disk in my closet. I did not realize that when I took my computer in to the genius bar to upgrade to Snow Leopard, and then to download Yosemite, that I would lose these applications. So now the new problem is how do I undo file vault in a new OS 10.10 when encoded in 6.8? Can I take my external drive in to Genius Bar?

If your iTunes library is on an external hard drive, but iTunes is not recognizing the library, first make sure the right library is selected.
You can use these steps to make sure iTunes is opening the library on your external drive:
If iTunes is running, quit iTunes.
If you're using Windows, hold down the Shift key and from the Start menu, choose All Programs > iTunes > iTunes.
If you're using a Mac, open iTunes and immediately hold down the Option key.
You should see one of these screens:
Pick Choose Library and locate the library on your external hard drive.
