Hello cindydenenberg, many site issues can be caused by corrupt cookies or cache. In order to try to fix these problems, the first step is to clear both cookies and the cache.
Note: ''This will temporarily log you out of all sites you're logged in to.''
To clear cache and cookies do the following:
#Go to Firefox > History > Clear recent history or (if no Firefox button is shown) go to Tools > Clear recent history.
#Under "Time range to clear", select "Everything".
#Now, click the arrow next to Details to toggle the Details list active.
#From the details list, check ''Cache'' and ''Cookies'' and uncheck everything else.
#Now click the ''Clear now'' button.
Further information can be found in the [[Clear your cache, history and other personal information in Firefox]] article.
If clearing cookies doesn't work then maybe the '''cookies.sqlite''' file that stores the cookies is corrupted. Try to rename, or delete, '''cookies.sqlite '''(cookies.sqlite.old) and delete also '''cookies.sqlite-journal''' (if exist) in Firefox [https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/profiles-where-firefox-stores-user-data#w_how-do-i-find-my-profile profile folder] in case the file cookies are corrupted.
Thank you.

  • Cannot sign in to iMessage and Facetime with Apple ID (only one or the other)

    Hi
I have an iPhone 5 running the latest iOS (on AT&T), not jailbroken.
I have recently got family to use Facetime and have been using it more and have noticed I am unable to use my Apple ID for both Facetime and iMessage- if I am signed in to one of them, I am unable to sign in to the other- I get in a loop of the phone repeatedly popping up a password entry screen for the Apple ID.
If I cancel the process and sign out of either, I can successfully sign in to the other. But no matter which I sign into first, I cannot sign in to both...
Anyone else had this problem? Anyone solved it?

I THINK I might  have found out a fix. First, I went in and signed into iMessages, but  left Facetime logged out. I then went in Settings and turned off  FaceTime altoghter. Afterwards I went to ensure iMessages was still  signed in (Paranoia perhaps lol). Then I went back in and re-enabled  FaceTime. The information was inserted back in, but Caller ID for  Facetime was unchecked, so I selected my email address instead of phone.  And both have oddly been working fine and stayed signed in since. No password requests at all.
I have zero clue why this works, but it does. I only figured it out  thanks to obcessive behavoir and inablilty to accept it was broken lol.  Anyone else with the issue want to confirm if it works for them as well?

  • Cannot sign in to iMessage on Macbook Pro running Mavericks 10.9

Everytime I try to sign in to iMessage I get this message. My Apple ID and password are both correct. I have used them to sign in the multiple apps on multiple devices today. I upgraded to Mavericks not too long ago and have not been able to sign in since. I had iChat before, which worked fine. iMessage works in my iPhone and iPad. If anyone has any ideas on how to resolve this issue it would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
In Applications/Utilities open the Keychain Access app.
Make the Login keychain the highlighted item top left.
And the Passwords the item bottom left.
On the right hand pane find anything that relates to iMessages.
Most likely you will have something that starts IDS: yourAppleID-Auth token
    Restart the app.

  • Cannot sign in to my UK itunes account

I have just moved to Canada and created a Canadian iTunes account on my iMac. This all works fine and I can sign in and out no problem.
However I cannot get back into my UK itunes account (this has all my movies and TV shows that i use for my Apple TV).
I have even reset the password and still nothing. Yet i can log into Apple ID no problem. All I keep getting when I try and sign into itunes using my UK username and password is "We're sorry, we cannot complete your request on the iTunes Store at this time" So annoying, been a few days now.
Your help would be very much appreaciated
    Thanks
    Dave

You were violating the termw of service of the itunes store.  This cna lead to the termination of your account.
From the terms of use of the itunes store:
"The Service is available to you only in the United Kingdom. You agree not to use or attempt to use the Service from outside this location. iTunes may use technologies to verify your compliance."

  • Cannot sign in to iMessage/FaceTime

Ever since I upgraded to iOS 7, on my WiFi-only iPad Mini, when I tried to sign in to iMessage or FaceTime, I get this message:
"iMessage (FaceTime) Activation: could not sign in. Please check your network connection and try again."
I've tried many ways to solve this issue, including:
    - Rebooting my iPad
    - Reset network connections
    - Connecting via a different ISP.
    - setting DNS server to 8.8.8,8.
    - Setting Date/Time to "Set Automatically"
    - Stuffing with airplane mode.
The only thing I've not tried is to do a backup, reset and erase all and restore. I don't want to go along that route because it is **** of a time-consuming thing to do and there's no guarantee that it'll work. I simply don't have the time to do that.
I've looked around the Net and Twitter and I know there's a lot of people having this issue too.
Can Apple fix this? It's already 10 days already and Apple has no comment, solution and fix to this problem?

  • I cannot sign in with iMessage and FaceTime.

My pad run out of battery, after recharge I was no more able to sign in with iMessage and FaceTime.

:go to settings on ipad, click on wifi, then on the right hand side just next to your wifi name there is a blue arrow, click on the blue arrow & look below, there will be a field called DNS, IN the DNS server field just copy and paste the following DNS servers, do not edit anything , just put as it is and also make sure they are no spaces at the start or at the end
    208.67.222.222, 208.67.220.220
    this should definitely work

  • Cannot sign on to iChat using MobileMe Account

I've just changed my MobileMe password. I try to sign on to iChat and no go...get a dialog asking for my ID and password. I change my iChat password (in preferences) for my iChat MobileMe account and still no go.
    I notice the following:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2498
This basically says that under 10.4 (I'm on 10.4.11) you cannot have a MobileMe password longer than 20 characters...mine was exactly 20. I change it to 17 and still no go.
Is there something that I am missing? Is there any kind of propagation lag associated with changing my MobileMe password and having it available to iChat? (I'm totally reaching here).
    Any ideas would be welcome...
    Thanks,
    Brian

Hmmm, noticed in iChat preferences that my password was always being truncated down to 12 characters. This was not obvious until I stopped and restarted iChat.
So, I changed my MobileMe password to 12 characters and it works.
Hmmm, maybe the value discussed in:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2498
should be 12 characters and not 20.
If I'm missing something please let me know.
    Thanks,
    Brian

  • Cannot sign in to my iChat/Aim account.

I have to AIM accounts, and one I can sign into, and one I cannot.
The one I cannot is my main one and I need it.
I tried signing on on my phone, on AOL mail, AIM on the mac, but none of these work. Plus, sometimes when I go on the AIM website, it doesn't work for me, but that's only sometimes.
When I try to sign in on AIM for Mac, it says that there is an unknown error. When I try to sign in on iChat it gives me a message:
iChat can't communicate with the AIM account "-insert sn here-".
    None
    (Time)
I really don't know what to do. I changed in the preferences the number to 443 and I made sure that my Aim account couldn't be used in two places at once.
Now I just don't know what to do.
    Help?
    Thank you in advance.

    Hi,
Can you go to the Applications folder ?
One Click iChat to Highlight it.
Then use the Apple (CMD) key and i together (Get Info from the File Menu in the Finder).
Near the top of the panel that opens use the reveal triangle to show you the second section. (The Orange Boxed bit in this pic)
What version Number does yours read ?
Your Profile say you are on OS 10.5.8
Therefore iChat should be at 4.0.8
Using an Install Disk to reinstall it can have it several version below the OS and they need to match.
IF you have not done this start with downloading and Installing this COMBO Update
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL866
Once you have done that go to Applications/Utilities and Open Disk Utility.
Select your Hard Drive (Left) and the First Aid Tab (right)
Use the Repair Permissions button lower left on the right hand pane.
Report back when iChat is at version 4.0.8
A reinstall is the normal way to get the Done Button to appear.
However if you are on a Managed Account rather than the Admin account you may have issues with Parental Controls.
