Cannot sign in to Itunes on this Computer
I am trying to sign in to Itunes on this computer but each time I enter my Username & Password it returns an Unknown Error. I am connected to the internet fine. I have been through all of Apple's troubleshooting pages. I have updated my Firewall and Anti Virus software but still cannot connect. Can anyone help?
Interesting I can sign in on another PC fine.
Try to verify you can sign in at Appleid.apple.com where it says "manage your account"
-If you can also sign in on there than your apple ID and password combination definantely work.
-If you can sign in on there, do you get any error message when trying to sign into itunes on your computer?

i tried to download a movie from itunes store just few minutes ago, it told me "This cannot be played in HD on this computer.
rather insane as I have recently purchased HD films with no issues or concerns at all. I have also updated to the most recent itunes software, yet it still gives me this same error message. and also all movies that i oiwn in HD do work without any problems. I read as much i could but its still giving me this message when i attempt to download. it only gives me the option to get the standard definition version of the film. which is not what I want. Any help on this please? thanks!.After I reformatted my Window 7 machine I'm getting this error too. I deauthorized all my devices and started fresh with my newly reformatted PC thinking that would solve the issue but no go...
Any insight? -
How do I sync a movie downloaded to iTunes, but I get a message that says "Cannot sync movie to iPod because this computer is not authorized"? How do I fix this?
And I assume you have already checked to see if your iTunes purchases are authorized by choosing Store -> Authorize This Computer?
Some have been able to resolve this issue by removing the downloaded purchase and redownloading it again at no cost via iCloud. See this article for more information on redownloading past purchases.

Why after buying apps does it tell me "Cannot download game until you sign-in to itunes on ur computer?
How large are the apps and are you trying to download them over 3G or wifi ? There is a 20 meg download limit per file over 3G, if the app is larger that that you either need to connect to a wifi network on your iPad in order to download it on it, or download it on your computer and then sync it to the iPad.

Message "cannot find Itunes on this computer"
Hi - I have a weird problem - I Tunes is installed, I can access and use it (and the store) from the taskbar and Google Chrome, but can't access it from Explorer - I get a message "can't find ITunes on this computer" and a download icon. I've tried downloading (even though it's already on the computer) and still get the same message. It's not a big deal as I can still get to ITunes, but I'd like to know what is going on with it and Explorer. Privacy settings seem to be okay, and disabling the firewall hasn't helped. Ideas anyone?
Explorer
Just doublechecking, remy ... is that *Internet Explorer,* the web browser, that you're having the trouble with? (As opposed to Windows Explorer, the Windows Desktop?) -
This is stupid. Since iTunes 12 came out I cannot open the P.O.S. software on my computer (Windows 7 64-bit). I have uninstalled the correct way, was told that my iTunes library was corrupted and to recreate it, which I did. Then I was told to downgrade my iTunes to an older version. Guess what? I can't because my library was created with a newer version. I cannot make changes to my account because I cannot sign in to iTunes since it won't stay up long enough.
Anyone have any luck fixing this crap program??
<Re-Titled by Host>As I said, some items cannot be purchased with an existing credit on an account no matter how much it is. It can only be purchased with a charge to a credit card.

in setting up new apple tv, message says "apple tv cannot sign in to Itunes until network time has been set - please try again later.........is this an easy fix?
Welcome to the Apple Community.
Assuming this is not the first time you have used your Apple TV
You might try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds.
Also try restarting the router.
If the problem persists, try a restore, you may want to try the previous procedures several times before doing this.
If restoring from the Apple TV doesn't help, try restoring from iTunes using a USB cable.
If this is a new Apple TV, in addition to trying the above, it may also be that your network router is not allowing access to the timeserver, check that your router allows access over port 123. -

Mac Mini - Cannot install Mac OS X on this computer
I have recieved a Mac Mini from a family member as a gift - I believe it's an old 2010 model or so running 2.66 GHz, 4 GB RAM and 1TB (2 500gb) HDD.
I'm 99% sure the disc I'm using is the computers orginal disc.
I have gone about reformatting the computer like I have done with all my macs previously, however when I select a language when booting from disk, I will get the pop up error "Cannot install Mac OS X on this computer". I have tried wiping both hard drives, partitioning both hard drives but to no avail.
Help is much appreciated.Having a go installing the Mini Server disc just incase - seems to be working?

Solving MSVCR80 issue and Windows iTunes install issues.
If the above doesn’t do the trick entirely, then use the instructions in the following as it applies to the version of Windows you are using:
HT1925: Removing and Reinstalling iTunes for Windows XP
HT1923: Removing and reinstalling iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8
You may be required to boot into safe mode to complete the folder deletion process.
