Cannot sign in to Skype app on my panasonic TV - p...

Everytime I try and login it fails with a temporary error (this has worked in the past). I can login via a PC or idevice on the same wi-fi with the same credentials but via the TV it's failing. The TV is the device I wish to use however.

In the Target field you will see now: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe" Click with your mouse on the text in the Target field and move your curser one space after the last quotation sign and add the text /legacylogin. The text in the Target field should now read: "C:\Program Files (x86)\Skype\Phone\Skype.exe"  /legacylogin Click OK to save the changes. Start Skype using this new shortcut. Try now login to Skype?

    My skype name apparently contains an underscore. I cannot sign into Skype using my Skype name, and this is probably why.
    The ONLY way I can sign is to click "Login with Facebook" on the desktop app. But when I sign in this way, it does NOT give me the option to link my Microsoft account (I've gone to "home" view and clicked the gear at top right, only says "manage hidden updates" and nothing else.
    I cannot sign into Skype from anything except a desktop because "Login with Facebook" is only available there. So how can I fix this?

    My parents are having the same problem. I got them a MobileMe account, but when they try to log into iTunes, it says their Apple ID doesn't exist. When they try to create a new account, it says for them to cancel and log in using their MobileMe account. Loop anyone?

    Skype was working fine on my laptop.  I use to log in with my hotmail e-mail address and suddenly one day when i try to log in it as me for a Skype Name and password.  I had never used a skype name and when i try my e-mail address and my password i cannot sign in.  Can u kindly assist.

    Try this:
    Go to Windows Start -> All Programs -> Accessories -> Right click on Command Prompt, select 'Run as administrator'.
    In the Command Prompt type:  cd c:\windows\syswow64 and press Enter.
    Next type this and then press Enter:
    regsvr32  jscript.dll
    Next type this and press Enter:
    regsvr32  jscript9.dll
    After each Enter you should receive a message saying that DllRegisterServer in XXX.dll succeeded.
    Reboot your computer.
    Make now the test showing if your Internet Explorer can execute JavaScript.
    Open in your Internet Explorer this page and watch the response:

  • Cannot 'Sign In' to Skype on iPhone

    I bought my 3GS UNLOCKED iPhone from the Apple Store in Sydney last week. I updated it to 3.1.2 and then decided to download the Skype app for iPhone via the iTunes store. I installed the app on my iPhone by syncing with my MacBook. Problem is that the 'Sign In' button is dead - the 'Create New Account' button works but I don't want a new account I want to use my existing account with my existing Skype name and contacts. I've tried deleting and re-installing the app, powering off and re-booting my iPhone, deleting the Skype app from iTunes and re-downloading, etc. Nothing works!!! I'm doing all of this at home over my WiFi network.
    Is there some basic setting that I'm not seeing to get Skype to work on my iPhone? I.e. should Airplane mode be ON or OFF or does it not make any difference? Is the Skype 1.2.2 app flaky?
    I would be very grateful for any suggestions as to how I might get Skype to work on my iPhone

    Thanks for responding. I've tried having both Airplane mode and Wifi mode ON but the result is still the same - 'Sign In' button simply doesn't respond.

  • I cannot sign in to the app store

    For some reason I cannot sign into the app store. I have tried on a Mavericks and Yosemite mac. When I click on sign in the little wheel rotates next to my apple id but nothing else happens. I tried to change my password to just numbers and letters as I saw one post recommended. I can sign into icloud. When I try to sign into iTunes I get a message stating that the iTunes store is temporarily unavailable. I do have anti-virus software but I shut it down and still can't sign in.

  • One of our Team users cannot sign into CC desktop app on OS X 10.8.5

    Every time of our CC for Team users tries to sign into the CC app in OS X 10.8.5 he just gets a message saying "You have been signed out"
    In addition, on startup of his iMac he also receives continuous popup messages saying that admin rights are required (something along those lines) until he quits the app and starts it up again.
    CC app version is 1.7.0.413
    Today I tried completely removing the app using the uninstaller and even after reinstalling he gets the same sign in issue.
    Any ideas please?

    Just resolved this will online support chat...
    In case anyone else comes across the same issue, all you need to do to fix this in OS X is:
    quit CC app
    open terminal
    type: cd ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE
    type: sudo rm opm.db
    relaunch CC app and it should be fixed

  • Cannot sign in through android app

    I am able to s n to the community and through my browser to change account details but am unable to sign in through my android app. I only have the app and do not have a computer to check anything. It was literally working just early this morning/late last night 3am est last time I checked).
    Zte Zmax, android 4.4.2, model z970, version 5.5.0.11658. Gives the error "unable to sign in".

    I just got a Note 4 and installed Skype from the carrier's store. When I tried to login I get the error, "Unable to connect to Skype - You cannot be signed in at this time. Please check your mobile network settings and try again". I've never had this problem before and I have had an iphone, ipad, and htc devices. Android version 4.4.4Skype version 4.4.0.034403 Ive cleared data and cache, reinstalled unistalled and all the normal things.  Any suggestions? I need to have skype working on this phone. I just bought it so I could use products like skype while on the go.

    My Skype forced me to upgrade right before a phone call today (7/12/2015) (why can't you let me go about my business first and upgrade later?). After the upgrade, Skype failed to aunch, and I received the blank screen at login. I terminated the processes, rebooted, and restarted Skype. I get the login screen, and my user ID is in the pre-filled area, but I cannot change that or type in the user ID box,, and I cannot type in the password box. I also did a system restore to a few days ago, and the same thing is ahppening. I am running the latest Skype (the help dialog works from the login screeen and confrms this)and Windows 7. What should I do?

    I'm having a nightmare trying to access appworld in order to download HUB++.
    When I sign in on the appworld.blackberry.com/webstore page, I get asked for my ID and Password. After that I get a pop up screen asking me to choose my device specification – I choose Blackberry Z10 and click Apply.
    Another pop up screen appears with the following:
    Using BlackBerry World on your BlackBerry 10 smartphone
    To use BlackBerry World on the web, you must first sign into BlackBerry ID on your BlackBerry 10 smartphone.
    When purchasing items for your BlackBerry 10 device, you will be required to complete the download on your device.
    Click the continue button below to return to the home page.
    When I click CONTINUE takes me back to the Sign In screen and the whole palaver starts again. I’ve tried to download it directly from my Z10 my password and/or ID are rejected. I’ve gone round and round in circles for two days.
    I've also noticed that when I sign in to Blackberry LInk on my PPC it says 'This Blackberry isn't associated with a device running Blackberry 10 OS ... '
    Is this connected to my first problem?? Any help would be much appreciated.

    This sounds like you did not log in to the Blackberry ID with your phone. Make sure the phone is properly logged in. Both the account on the Blackberry site, and the phone must be the same. They have to be matched by the account name and password. The name is the email address you intend to use for verification and information.
    If you have to change the Blackberry ID account in your phone, this cannot be done without first wiping the phone. Make very sure the account you use in the phone is the one you want to use indefinately.
    I have set up many Blackberry phones. Once done properly the system works very well, and it is very secure.

    Please post back with more information and details, such as what occurs or error message(s) that appear when you attempt to sign on?  Where do you get stuck at the sign-in process?

    I cannot sign in to the App Store.
    I changed countries a few months ago and updated all my account info and everything was working fine, until recently, while trying to upgrade my softwear to Mavericks, which I cannot do. My apple Username and password work fine on iTunes and on my iPhone. I can also access all my account info when I sign in through the website. It just will not work for the App Store on my Mac Pro.
    When I click "Welcome" under Quick Links it asks me to sign in. I sign in with my Apple Username and Password and then it DOES NOTHING
    When I click on "Free Upgrade" and then "Install" on the mavericks software, it asks me to sign in again. This time it says "unknown error" and then it says "We cannot complete your request. There has been an error in the App Store. Please try again later. (4)"
    I''m completely blocked. I cannot procede without being able to update my software.
    Please help me.

    You could try this.
    Back up all data.Triple-click anywhere in the line below on this page to select it:
    /Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/NetworkInterfaces.plist
    Right-click or control-click the line and select
    Services ▹ Reveal
    from the contextual menu.* A folder should open with an item selected. Move the selected item to the Trash. You may be prompted for your administrator login password. Reboot and test. If there's no change, restore the item you deleted from a backup, overwriting the one that may have been created in its place. Otherwise, you may need to recreate some of your settings in the Network preference pane.

I cannot sign up to skype manager as the "Set up Skype Manager" button is not active , i have tried on windows 8.1 and windows 7. i have completed the entire form but the button does not work and as this is the only way to join up i need to help to get this button issue sorted.
