Cannot speak and listen simultaneously A205-S5825 Model Windows Vista, Realtek Sound Card

Hello there, My problem is that there is no sound coming from the speakers when speaking at the microphone. I can record my voice, but cannot speak and listen simultaneously... As far as I know there should be an option named Monitor Input in the Levels tab of the Speaker Properties in Windows Vista... However - I am missing such option... Any help would be greatly appreciated...

I cannot connect to the Internet after installation of Windows Vista Ultimate edition. For some odd reason, it seems my ethernet has not yet been installed to my operating system and I do not know how to do that even with the internet, I have the LAN cable hooked up to my computer but I do not know exactly what to do about it. Is there some sort of driver I need to install, or what? How do I do that without the internet?
This operating system is on a separate partition to my other operating system that is connected to internet already (Windows Vista Premium) that I do not wish to use anymore because of it's corruption. I tell you this because you may know a way of finding the driver files on my previous operating system that I may be able to transfer to the other.

Difficulty installing Rescue and Recovery 4.2 patch for Windows Vista

Which between System Update Installation History and Post-Installation Status Report should I believe, when they tell a different story?
When I run thinkVantage System Update, the post-intallation status report indicates that the following fails to install:
* Rescue and Recovery 4.2 patch for Windows Vista
* ThinkVantage Client Security Solution for Vista SP1
* Lenovo Wireless WAN Activation Patch
However, when I open the ThinkVantage System Update History Log, I read that the above updates have been installed.
Which one should I believe?
I'm willing to believe that the update has been installed, but whenever I run System Update, I keep getting the same message that the above three need to be installed.
Should I keep ignoring the message? If not, what else could I try?
I have a T60 running Vista with SP1 installed.

Is your built in Realtek 7.1 analog? If so, does it have 3 output jacks for 7.1 or 4.1 If 4, you'll need a cable with 4 1/8th inch plugs on each end, if it's got 3 the included cable will work fine. Either way it shouldn't be a problem, although some onboard sound may not sound as good as a dedicated higher-quality soundcard as high quality speakers tend to bring out both the best and worst in your other sound equipment.

should work fine mate, i have asus p5n-e sli board, and i have the realtek hd audio onboard, one thing i can tell you though, CREATIVE audigy 2 and x-fi cards have a serious problem with nforce 4 and 650i chipsets, not sure about 680i but i wouldnt risk my money, they just dont seem to draw enough power from the pci bus if you have a decent graphic card installed, you end up with very loud crackling and pops which sound scary as if its gonna blow your pc up, theres a lot of complaints on the net about this and i had to pull my audigy 2 zs out my machine and go back to onboard realtek because of this problem, blame driver support, creative just cant get their act together

Yes you can without losing your music. Here is a link to a good website that helps people install and / or uninstall iTunes properly. It can keep you from going completely nuts if you are running into any problems trying to install, reinstall or uninstall iTunes! Cannot connect to wifi on desktop computer w/ Windows Vista

So as stated above, I cannot connect to the Airport Extreme wifi with my Sony Vaio desktop computer. Did you try plugging in by ethernet?? Just to be sure there wasn't some fundamental issue.
If it works by ethernet and not wireless, then this is not at all unusual. Vista has the worst wireless drivers ever developed along with the worst wireless management.. an upgrade to XP or Win7 is strongly encouraged. .either direction is an upgrade.
Make sure the AE has all SMB compatible names..
Short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric. Do not use apple names with spaces and apostrophe.
Use wpa2 Personal security with a password of 10-20 characters again pure alphanumeric.
Use fixed wireless channels, try 1, 6, 11 in turn.
No improvement download the latest intel drivers (or whatever wireless card your laptop uses) direct from Intel. If that doesn't work try some earlier releases.. not always the latest is bestest.

Acrobat 7 and Reader 8 stall with latest Windows Vista Update

After downloading and installing the most recent Windows Vista 64 bit update, neither reader or acrobat will start when I attempt to open a .pdf document. hmmm, my version (7.0.9) of AA7 pro runs just fine on my copy of Windows 64 bit (longhorn) using the AMD 64 bit processor... Unless I install the latest windows update... Then, as already stated, both AA7 and Reader fail to start when I attempt to open an existing .pdf... MS needs to better debug the current windows update file...

When running Windows in a virtual environment Windows and OSx share your computer's resources such as RAM. Therefore your games can not use all your computer's resources when running.
If you install Windows natively then Windows and your games can and do use all your computer's resource such as RAM.
But as already said, older operating systems are not supported and will not run natively using Boot Camp Assistant. You must use Windows 7 if installing natively in Lion or Moubtain Lion.
