Cannot spool more than 999 copies at a time?
I just recently updated to Reader X (on an XP machine) and notice that you can no longer spool more than 999 copies to print at a time. The old version also had only a 3-digit field, but you could type in 999 and arrow up to spool over a thousand at a time. Now with Reader X, it won't go over 999 no matter what you do. For my work I usually have to print tens of thousands of copies at a time, and having to do it in increments of 999 is really slowing me down. Is there a way to do this that I'm not aware of?
It seems the maximum number of copies possible in Reader X is indeed 999. You can request Adobe to change that.
A temporary workaround could be to print using a script and a loop, but that might over-flow the printer since it will not be 1 command to print 1000 times, but 1000 commands to print 1 time, for example.

This works in many different ways and in lots of apps.
Hold down the command key and you can select from a list (leaving some not checked) to exclude them from the delete process.
To empty all of the trash folder use command-a keys to "select all" and then the delete key to remove them. -
Firefox 7 is a dud. Cannot open more than one tab at a time, will not open additional pages. Nothing you suggested has worked.

PhotoSmart 2710 Printer Feeder cannot handle more than one page at a time

My printer works fine except that the paper feeder has difficulty feeding more than one sheet at a time. When I put a stack of more than one sheet of paper in the feeder tray, the printer might successfully print one or two pages, but then pages will overlap (top of printed page is on one sheet, bottom on another or multiple sheets will be grabbed at the same time so only the first sheet gets printed and the others are blank.
I do mostly standard office paper printing so no real experience with heavier pages. I get my paper from Office Supply stores, like Staples, and brand does not seem to make a difference. Have had same experience with Store Brands, National paper company brands and have even used HP branded paper with same results.
I have no problems when I manually feed individual sheets to the printer So I have essentially a single sheet printer. Any help appreciated.

Cannot observe more than 12 computers at a time in ARD 3.7.1
I am currently running 10.9.4 on 17 iMacs (2014) and am using ARD 3.7.2 (Server Side) and 3.7.1 (Client Side) in my classroom.
I am trying to observe (have a real-time view) of 16 of the iMacs in one window at the same time. There are options to observe up to 50 (I assume at the same time as it strikes me as odd to have to select the number of macs I want to observe in total when I can do that directly form the main window by highlighting as many as I want and hitting observe.) The problem is that no matter how big I make the window, lower the quality of the view, or disable addition information such as computer name, I cannot get more that 12 to show at a time. I am able to swap between pages only if I select to view 12 or less. If select to view more than 12, the "Play Forward" "Stop" and "Play Backward" icons grey out and become un-usable.

I started working for ChaCha 11/26/2010, I had to download a program to take incoming questions.
Ever since then, Firefox will not work correctly, even if I am totally logged out of ChaCha, and the page is closed, if I try to open my browser using Firefox, it will not open, I have to go into the processor tree and manually end Firefox, then it will work, but it will only let me open 1 page at a time. For example I have Firefox open now, but if I go and click on the icon to open it in a new browser, it will not open, I either have to close this, or use IE-I HATE IE lol.
I cannot use the ChaCha add on you have because it is not for the new version of Firefox, please help, I love Firefox, but not being able to open more than one window/page at a time does not cut it, nor does having to manually stop it from processing. I have tried re-installing it too.

Please help cannot open more than one window at a time.
Everything was working well but this morning I could not have more than one window (application or folder) open at a time.
As soon as I open one, the previously oppened one closes.
I tried restoring from Time Machine and also Lion altogether but this behaviour did not change.

It's free and doesn't modify your system, just turns on or off the hidden options that are already there. Run it and look in the Dock tab and see if this option is checked. If so, uncheck it and click the relaunch dock button. -
Printing more than 999 copies in Reader 9.x

When printing copies, version 9 will only let you enter 999. Version 8 would allow you to set 9999. Is this change intended? Is there a setting you can change someplace that will let you enter larger numbers?

simply have to hit and hold the up arrow and it will continue to count up. -
Cannot open more than 25 images at a time
Ok... I've been one of those users who has been very happy with Bridge. I'm running version 2.1.1.9. I'm using it with Photoshop CS3. My workflow is I open 125 JPEGs, edit-save-close and then open 125 more etc. One of the recent updates seems to have broken Bridge. I can now only open ~25 images at a time. If I select more and hit enter I get the error "Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You may not have appropriate permission to access the item.
What could have happened? This was working fine.Just for clarification, from Photoshop I can do File -> Open and select 300+ files and they open just fine. It only fails if I try to open them from within Bridge. Very frustrating.

Cannot add more than 1 song at a time to iphone

Don't know if anyone else has had this problem but when i try to add songs to my iphone i can only do 1 at a time. If i sync a full album it crashes and says device timed out. it will back up ok and sync if manually manage music is ticked but if automaically again it dies on the second song. I have reinstalled itunes with no luck and my phone will work fine on my wife's laptop when synced to her library. I can re-sync with my library which removes all songs but then cannot add anymore songs unless its 1 at a time :((
Any ideas??? We both use the latest 8.2 itunes and both run vista both have amd processors and both comps have 2gb ram.
ThanksCool. The front case ones may not be properly connected to the motherboard then. From personal experience they are kind of hard to connect as the pins are so small and it is easy to connect them incorrectly.

Hi, when I open a PDF my laptop automatically closes any other PDF's open - I have uninstalled & reinstalled all Adobe products but still have the same issue - help!
What has changed (a few versions of Reader ago) is that instead of each PDF opening in a part of one window, Reader opens a separate window for each. (A lot of people don't like this, but it's the way Microsoft recommended at that time).
Now, each of these PDFs-in-a-window can fill the screen, or can be smaller. You can use Window > Tile for example, or resize so you have a bit of an overlap. You should also be able to choose between the different windows right in the task bar by holding down the mouse on the Adobe Reader icon. -
Cannot delete more than 1 email at a time even when several are selected - and the deletion is slow!
I switched to TB not that long ago and this just started being an issue. I'm trying to delete multiple emails. I will have a bunch selected and hit delete. Only one will delete and it will take forever. They are all still selected but I have to hit delete for each one.
It wasn't an issue when I first switched to TB. I was able to select large groups and hit delete - voila! gone! I use avast - the free version - and I haven't changed any anti-virus, etc. settings.

Cannot open more than one photo in Photoshop
