Cannot start SAP XI - Integration Respository and Directory

Dear Expert,
Some of developers cannot start Integration repository and directory at his/her client. It still running after logon with "PISUPER" user.
Do I missing some necessary applications on the clients?

I think the host name is no problem because the Integration Builder page can be started with URL "http://iwdfvm2160:51000/rep/start/index.jsp" and also prompt me the logon window. But after input the user/password, normally is PISUPER, the logon window is running for a long time, nothing happen.
We also using user PISUPER and it's fine with another laptop.

go to http://<host>:<port>/index.html -->User Management log in using j2ee_admin
When you go into one of the tabs, there will a client entry . Just change.
You should able to do the same thing with UME provider service in the visual admin.
Please check Note 938980 if you are using VPN.
This is probably a Java Web-Start issue. Please check logon with other JWS versions. Also check if you have any conflicting JWS versions installed.

if you're using the same computer hardware to reinstall your cs3, you don't need to deactivate first.

Cannot start SAP B1 DI Proxy Service

Hi,
After i restart my machine, my SAP B1 DI Proxy Service cannot start.
Even i go to services.msc to start this DI Proxy Service manually, a message appear as per below :
" The SAP Business One DI Proxy Service service on local Computer started and then stopped.
Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs"
Please advice how to start this DI Proxy Service ?

You do not have to re-install everything. It's enough to run the integration package from your installation media and it will perform an repair.
You might need to re-activate the mobile package if you are using that one after the repair is finished.

Cannot start SAP add-on copy express

Dear All,
I requested a global license for our customer. The manager SAP user has Pro license. When I tried to start copy express in either CA or US localization DB, I got an error message 'Add on does not have a license'.
I tried on another customer's server. The manager SAP user has Pro license only but I can start the add-on.
The customer is on SAP8.8 PL12, SQL2005. Any idea? Thanks.

We don't have that choice 'SAP Add-ons' or 'Add-on Access'. When I requested the license, AddOn Access Users I requested 90 (the number I can request). When I go license administration, on components tab, I can see I have 9999 SAP add-ons. But I cannot see it on allocation tab.
On my other customers, I cannot see 'SAP Add-ons' or 'Add-on Access' either. I just allocated Pro license and it works fine.

Audigy 2 value "This device cannot start (code 10) after installation and no so

after installing this card I get a "This device cannot start (Code 0)" message in device manager. I disabled the onboard sound in the bios, installed using the CD and rebooted the computer. But still no sound. When using this method on another computer the installation went smoothly. Since it was still not installing on this computer I tried different PCI slots (keeping in mind that it is not suppose to be installed in the PCI slot adjacent to the AGP slot). I've tried everything I can think of and I still get a "This device cannot start (Code 0)" message under the driver in device manager and no sound whatsoever. Please help because if I can't get it to work I'll have to return it. Thank you.

I did manage to get mine working finally, it was pretty stupid of me....
Anyway I made sure the creative disk was in the dri've and then when my comptuer said "found new hardware" i pointed to the dri've and made it install the driver. Well that did work and it did say it installed the hardware, but it still didnt work. I then took it into my brother computer did it the exact same way and it worked fine. I finnaly brought it back to my PC and installed it one more time. it did the same exact thing. But this time i opened up the disk and installed the driver direct from the disk menu, after reboot it worked like a charm. Thought that was a tad strange, but it worked, maybe if someone makes the same mistake as me this will help.
Card is good, not much of a step up from my li've 5., but that card is going in a friends PC so its no biggie.

Cannot start SAP using commond startsap on unix

   I am facing issue while starting SAP , when i run Startsap command on Unix i am receiving following error.

Without looking at the system it's impossible to give a reason. Make sure you start the listener with ora<SID>. If that doesn't help open an OSS call (BC-DB-ORA) and let the support have a look on the system.

Cannot Start SAP

I have an NW4 test drive running on linux/db2. It used to run well, and I don't remember changing anything.
However, I can no longer start SAP. The database is running , and I can connect using the CLP "db2" as sapsi4 and si4adm, and select from SAP tables.
However, running the <b>usr/sap/SI4/SYS/exe/run/startdb</b> script, specifically the line <b> R3trans -d -w xx.log</b> produces an error indicating a bad password.
Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this, and what I could have done to cause the problem? Below is the output. Sorry if it isn't very readable.

The following might be the issues:
1.New Password restrictions have come up at your office.
2.Somebody changed the pwd`s.
3.License might have expired.
Try re-starting the server.

After restart system, cannot start sap (and connect via GUI)

We have installed Solution Manager 7.1 on linux64.
After the accident, and reboot the system , stops producing startsap. On the advice of specialists took over running the "startsap <virtualhost>"
At the command prompt , startsap_DVEBMGS00.log startsap.trc and indicated that the launch was successful .
However, neither in the list of processes to be seen dispatcher, or SAP GUI can not connect to the system.
In addition, there is an assumption that just does not start JAVA Instance.
In this regard, there are a number of questions for the esteemed colleagues :
1. on how the logs directory from which you can learn this starts the ABAP and JAVA stacks ?
2 . As can be verified directly from the server ( what commands ) kaktivnost / no system activity ?
3 . Which log files do I need to provide here , you so that you could possibly help me?

You need to check the below things
1. Run R3trans -d to check whether sap can connect to DB or not.(it will create the trans.log file)
   If return code is 0012 , then
      There is some problem with Database
Else return code 0000
     There is some problem with SAP.
2. Now go to the directory /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS<XX>/work
    and check the log files
    1. dev_w0
    2. dev_disp
    3. dev_ms
    4. stderr<x> logs which alos content important system
Above logs are for ABAP system analysis.
For Java
3. std_server<x>.out
4. dev_server<x>
5. dev_dispatcher
Also check the default tarce and application log as well for java

Cannot start Prepare.bat to generate upgrade directory!!

Hi All
I am having real problems with my upgrade from 4.6C (ABAP) to ERP 2005. I have followed the instructions to the letter in the Upgrade guide but when ever I run the prepare.bat file I get the following error message:
Y:\prepare.js(44, 3) WshShell.Exec: The system cannot find the file specified.
I have checked the cscript.exe version and it is at 5.6.
Can anyone help me solve this or let me know what to extract manually?

I had the same problem with prepare. The environment settings of my <sid>adm user were gone!
check the env. var. "path" of sidadm-user: exe\run -folder must be available there.

Can't start the Integration Repository or Directory

I am having problems starting the integration Repository and Directory.
Every seems ok... it starts the Java Webstart then continues to say it is downloading... maybe 15 seconds in, it then changes and says download stalled...
does anyone have any ideas?
