Cannot stop Nokia E90 USB LCIF a program still has...
1) After upgrading to the latest version 210.34.75, now in order to disconnect the usb cable (in Pc Suite Mode) you have to do it as any other usb device. This wasn't the case with my previous version 6_85_14_1. But the message at the header appears and there seems to be no way to disengage. All I can do is to unplug the cable when there is no disk activity. Any suggestion?
2) Furthermore (as in 1 above after upgrading) if any of the phone applications (SMS or Active Notes for instance) uses the memory card for storing information, you cannot connect in Transfer Mode unless you redirect them to use the telephone memory. This is annoying! Any solution to this problem?
For the LCIF problem, first exit all the Nokia applications (PC Suite, Synchrnizer). Wait for a couple of minutes and then stop the USB connection; you can safely remove the device without any error.

When ever I use Adobe reader 11 with a USB device, I cannot safe remove the USB device and get the following message (or similar one) in system log: The application \Device\HarddiskVolume1\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader\AcroRd32.exe with process id 6620 stopped the removal or ejection for the device USB\VID_05DC&PID_C75C\20131215015821328FC8.
I am running on Windows Server 2012 R2 in Desktop Experience mode.

RogerIn addition to that symptom, I discovered that even though I had closed all Adobe Reader sessions, the processes kept running and used up 90%+ of my CPU.

My iCloud email program is blitzing out - when I scroll through my email, it scrolls itself and I cannot stop it!! Help!! I'm using a windows computer (temporarily,ugh)

Nokia E90: URGENT!! Bluetooth Modem
I have recently bought a Nokia E90 model. I have installed the PC Suite (latest version) also. I can browse the internet when I connect my phone to my PC via the USB cable. I can also connect my PC to the phone through bluetooth. But I CANNOT BROWSE the internet through bluetooth.

I haven't seen a 777 error for nearly 10 years & it usually means that you have the wrong modem drivers installed. I assume you're suffering from Windoze XP? The latest version of PC Suite should include the cable modem driver and you might solve your problem by uninstalling then reinstalling the software; if you don't have the latest version of PC Suite you should download and install it before trying again. You could try installing the cable driver on its own, I believe this is the one you want.
Before you start messing about with drivers, it's probably a good idea to delete the DUN connection that you created as XP is easily confused and could bind the COM port to a non-functional connection and prevent you from binding it to one that works. XP has also been known to bind more than one COM port to a modem, it's worth checking there isn't a "Nokia E90 Communicator USB Modem #2 (COMXX)" that already works.
If this solves the problem, let us know. If it doesn't, then I'll need a little more information:
What OS are you running? (Just guessing it's XP).
Which mobile provider are you with? (Certain settings are operator specific).
Can you access the phone through PC Suite (SMS, Contacts, file management)? If not, your cable might be fractured & need replacing.

I have recently brought a Nokia N95 from a friend. I have downloaded and installed many games, themes etc with no probs using the PC Suite. Today I have connected the phone using the USB cable, phone prompts to use PC Suite etc, I select Pc Suite as before but for some reason it dont work, I get this message appear on the bottom right hand side of my PC screen

Please helpafter last uninstall i decided to remove all programs to do with the running of nokia 7.0 not just the pc suite and software updater i then ran wise disc cleaner3 followed by nokia pc suite cleaner 3.6 rebooted and downloaded nseries suite 6.83.11 which ran perfect until i ran the software updater which after installing i was back to square 1 so i did the whole uninstall and reinstall again and i am now using n series 6.83.11 pc suite but i cannot use the software updater or pc suite 7.0 thats as far as i have got.by the way (wise disc cleaner3) is a mean cleaner when i first used it a few months ago it removed 1800megabytes of junk files which i never knew i had i used the free version easy to use and configure it has never given me any problems.

for a few weeks i have not been able to access the itunes store from the itunes on my laptop. every time i click on it it tells me it cannot access the store...not sure why. and says this: ITUNES HAS STOPPED WORKING a problem caused the program to stop working correctly. windows will close the program and notify if a solution is available.
I had this exact same problem. I found this fix and it worked for me.
Step 1:
Browse to C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Apple Application Support and copy the filen named QTMovieWin.dll.
Step 2:
Browse and past that file into C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes.
Hope this helps you. I wish I could remember where I saw this originally so I could thank them.

It doesn't matter whether I press yes allow or do not allow - it still keeps coming up - I have had this problem for a few weeks now and I have run my Anti Virus software and Malware etc, but to no joy - it still keeps coming up.
I don't think that it is coming from yourselves - I think it is a virus?
My operating system is Windows 7 64 bit
And I use Internet Explorer
Can anyone please help me get rid of it?

I have been trying to post my screenshot by clicking the camera icon in this toolbar, but when I browse my documents and click on insert image - a message comes up saying 'the content type of this image is not allowed' !
It is a WordDoc2007 (*docx) or a .wps extension which is a Microsoft Works document and no matter which image I try to 'insert' - the message is still the same.
I am desperate now because no matter what website I go on - your message comes up - and everytime the website is loading it comes up quite a few times when a page is loading. Even while I've been doing this reply to you - everytime I click on a link to take me somewhere on the site - it comes up!
Perhaps if I can send you the screenshot by email - it may work? At least then you would be able to see the screenshot?
I have just thought about sending you the screenshot as a picture, but I don't have 'Paint' - any ideas would be appreciated.

Nokia E90 and Linux... how compatible are they?
I am hoping to soon upgrade my current mobile phone (Nokia 6822) and separate PDA (a Palm Tungsten T3) to a Nokia E90. However, I have reservations...
Does anyone have any knowledge or experience about how the Nokia E90 syncs with Linux Ubuntu? I know it doesn't come "out the box" with Linux support, unfortunately, but what about after-market solutions and work-arounds?
I don't mind if I sync through a USB cable or Bluetooth, as long as it works. (I really want to avoid running WINE or something similar though...)
Any thoughts and suggestions appreciated...!
(And the day Nokia issues Linux support I, for one, will be a happy bunny!)

The paint job started peeling off in about 2 weeks , wrote NOT COMPLAINING but looking for any advise , they replied that there is no support for E90 in Taiwan... but they still working good and I decided to cover them with plastic skin , later on they released an "upgrade" that does NOTHING and I did not check asuming that NOKIA of course will do things always thinking in functionality... to make it short ... 2000USD turned into garbage ...
After the upgrade none of them would recognize the backups I LOST ALL MY CONTACTS LITERALLY JOBLESS!!!!!!!!!!!
I wrote to "costumer care" that really doesn't care and they tried to convince me that a hardware reset will fix it , of course using NOKIAs for more than 10 years I KNOW THIS BUT IT JUST DOESNT WORKED.
So finally they say that I had to ship my units to Finland for them to check...
THEY DID NOT NEED MY PHONES TO BE SHIPPED TO FINLAND TO BE SPOILED RIGHT?

After the OS "Upgrade"
-Not recognizing backups
-Browser not working or poorly performing and phone OVERHEATS to the point of hurt your hand
-takes about 22 minutes to reboot
-A brand new NOKIA battery will last for about 4 hours if you don't use the device (20 minutes in use)
-It turns EXTREMELY SLOW
-Battery meter shows full everytime , but after reboot it shows empty.
So ... just for you to know and consider , I do not know the new communicator N** might be good but for now I just don't feel like risking my money on them , and due to this I am probably getting another two smartphones from a brand that AT LEAST CARE A BIT FOR THE COSTUMER.
Wrote this because someone said there is no UBUNTU support ... the truth is that there is no support at all.

NOKIA E90: UNABLE TO PERFORM BLUETOOTH OPERATION
Hi guys,
It's two weeks since, I'm having problems with my Nokia E90 mobile phone: when I try to activate my bluetooth, after a few seconds I receive the message "Unable to perform bluetooth operation", but this doesn't work in this way permanently because some times works and some times doesn't work, it occurs trying to connect to my vehicle free-hands device or even just activating bluetooth.
I can't understand what's happening because til now my bluetooth device worked fine.
So, could anybody help me? because now I'm working with my USB connection, but this is not very operative.

E90: USB errors every time I connect
Hi all,
Every time I connect my E90 to the USB cable I get the following error:
"Nokia E90 Communicator USB Modem. The required section was not found in the INF."
This prevents the E90 from "installing" properly, which is why Windoze goes through the same pantomime every time. It finishes with a message saying there may be a problem with my hardware and it may not work properly. It seems to work fine (both via PC Suite and direct file transfer), but it would be nice to get rid of the error.
There is a second error:
"CDC Communications Interface. A service installation section in this INF is invalid."
This one does not come up every time, but did come up the first time, and again after I upgraded the phone software (which I guess re-sets it to the "first" time).
Any help solving either of these would be appreciated. Do I just need a corrected INF file from somewhere?

CCAutostart/autoplay options are defined in your operating system. Richt-click the drive letter/ volume name and change them accordingly. On Windows there's alsop a system control panel for that.

Some things that have to be fixed in the upcoming firmware of nokia e90
1)Music player should allow to add album art manually
2)web browser keeps quiting
3)Gps cannot connect(its only my e90's gps that cannot connect)
4)picture editor is missing
5)if you you go to help and music player it shows that visullization is available but it is not.visulaization is not available(please nokia you have to add this)
6)bettter THEMES...the themes are not that good!
7)and last!please nokia! you have to add better ringtones in the upcomming firmware
I hope these minor adjustments will be added in the upcomming firmware

Nokia E90 firmware download problem
Hi - I'm trying to update my Nokia E90 firmware from 210.34.75 to 300.34.84 and the 81.9MB file downloads perfectly (in under 3 minutes) until it gets to 60.3MB and then stops. Any ideas? I've un-installed the entire PC Suite and its add-ons, an no luck. Any ideas? Thanks, Ian.

Nokia-E90-NSU-Fail.jpg 47 KBI also had trouble downloading the software upgrade (from version 7.xx to version 300.34.84) for my E90. I tried three times before it actually begun to download - upon which, the download and upgrade went by successfully. I agree that the upgrade - even from my very old/early firmware - was almost completely pointless. Some of the trouble I'm having now is with the Download! folder, specifically the Applications subfolder - it does not update it's context - actually, it's totally unaccessible. Also, the Windows Live Application no longer works - and I'm unable to download a fresh copy.
I backed up all the data on the phone prior to the firmware upgrade - as required for the retention of software certificates and data.
