!!Cannot stop or step forward in purchased songs!!

Hello!
Today I've bought the Ipod shuffle.
But there is a problem:
I have stopped a song, which I have purchased in the Music Store, by pushing the 'Play/Pause'- Button. But then when I wanna restart the song, the song doesn't start at the position I've stopped it before, but the next song is played.
And I also cannot step forward within these songs. If I push the '>>|' button for a longer period of time, the next song is played.
With my Mp3- Files of my library I don't have these problems.
Can anyone help me?

I am having exactly the same problem! I just bought a 512MB shuffle that had the problem , so i returned it and got a 1GB shuffle from the apple store, But it has the exact same problem!!!
Has anyone emailed apple regarding this problem?

    I have lost many musics in the same album which I had purchased on iTunes Music Store.
    I bought an album named "100 Supreme Classical Masterpieces: Rise of the Masters" about a year ago. It is a collection of classical music. It was a 100 piece of music but now I want to re-download it but it only shows me 15 tracks. I've checked it is not hidden. I've tried to search for it in iTunes Music and I found it. It is a 100 track album and it says that you've purchased this but in Purchase section only gives me 15 songs. Please help

    I'm having the same problem with iTunes 11. When I purchase songs for the iTunes Store, they don't appear in iTunes for me. They appear immediately on my mobile devices, but in order to get them to appear in iTunes, I have to turn off iTunes Match and then turn it back on, and even then they only appear as being available for download. Oddly enough, if I go into the iTunes Media/Downloads folder, the original downloaded files are there. It's as if they aren't getting fully processed by iTunes and indexed properly after they are downloaded. It's incredibly annoying. I could probably drag those files into iTunes to add them, but I haven't tried that yet. Hopefully Apple will resolve this issue quickly. In the meantime, check your iTunes Media/Downloads folder. The files are probably there.

    Although all of the scenarios may be applicable, many folks find that the following section helps resolve their issue most often:
         Authorize using the correct account name
    The items you're trying to play might have been purchased using a different iTunes Store account. To determine which account was used to purchase an item, follow these steps:
    Select a purchased song in your library and choose File > Get Info.
    Click the Summary tab. Note the Account Name that appears in the list. This is the account name (Apple ID) you'll need to use when authorizing your computer to play this purchase.
    Note: The account name that appears is the one you used when purchasing the item and does not change if the account name (Apple ID) changes.
    If you've authorized the Apple ID that is shown in the Summary tab, you can check the purchase history for that Apple ID from Store > View My Account. If your purchase history does not reflect the purchase of the items in your iTunes library, consider any other Apple ID you may have created, and authorize the computer for your additional Apple ID.
    If you forgot the password to one of your accounts, you can recover it using Apple's password-recovery website.

    I cannot stop the Music app from shuffling songs.  I have tried the suggestions offered in related threads (such as navigating to the Now Playing screen, tapping the album cover, etc.) but those suggestions refer to buttons which do not appear on my screen.

    If you purchased all of the songs through itunes store, please follow these steps:
    1. Open up Itunes and Click on Itunes Store
    2. Once you're in the Itunes Store look to right side of the screen and you should see the word "purchased". Click purchased and you'll be sent to a purchase screen.
    3. Click on "All Songs" and then it will show all the songs you've downloaded. From there you just hit the button that looks like a cloud with an arrow on it, and it will download all the songs all over again.

    I am about ready to throw my Macbook out the window. I detest the new makeover on iTunes making me feel like a complete idiot that I cannot figure out for the life of me how to transfer one stinking song that I purchased on iTunes to my iPod Touch.     My problem is similar but broader.  At some point a few months ago, I could no longer listen to any of my purchased music on my iPod Touch.  All of the purchased music remained in my iPod music library (I can still see every song); however, none of my purchased music will play.  When my playlist reaches a purchased song, the iPod stops playing.  I've re-synced my iPod many times and the same thing occurs.  And, I've restored my iPod with the same end result. 
    One other issue that I believe may be related: I'm also noticing that some of my playlists don't show up on my iPod anymore.  All of this seems to have occurred at the same time.  And I still have 22 GB of capacity available so that isn't the issue.  Can anyone offer a solution?  I would really appreciate it.

    You made a purchase and exhausted the credit on your card before it processed. All purchases are final. Contact iTunes Store support. You need to settle up before you can purchase or download anything else.

    Does the track play correctly in Quicktime Player?  If it does then it is an iTunes issue.  If it doesn't then it is possible the file was not completely downloaded, or is corrupt.

  • Cannot listen or purchase songs under new layout of iTunes 9.0

    Under the new layout I cannot listen or purchase songs. Also the homepage is basically just blank with only the right column with top songs, albums showing. The bizarre thing is that all comes out fine with the pages that have kept the old layout such as iTunesU or some iMix (was even able to download a song). Any help to fix this? Thanks in advance.

    I am having the same problem and saw this in a previous thread -
    1. restored system to yesterday (before I'd attempted the whole update fiasco)
    2. backup itunes library
    3. used revo uninstaller for a complete uninstall
    4. restart
    5. run clean install off new installer download (even though logged in as admin, I also used the right click "run as Admin" option for good measure)
    And voila upgrade
    Yes, it's a pain, but it did work. My best guess is that something was corrupted during the first failed update attempt, which resulted in an incomplete uninstall, thus screwing up the clean install. But that's just speculation...
    I want to do this with mine but don’t know how to “restore system to yesterday”? let me know if you find out how?
