Check and see if the you can access other Internet video applications (such as the YouTube® app or the Crackle® app). If videos from these apps play properly, it is possible that Netflix® app is performing routine maintenance or performing a system update. During this time, it may not be possible to watch streaming movies or TV shows from the Netflix service. In most cases, the down time for maintenance and system updates does not take too long. However, it is recommended to try again at a later time.
When a nearby wireless network is using the same channel as you, interference may cause communications to destabilize. Try changing the settings on your router to a different channel number.
Depending on your Wireless LAN specifications, the communication speeds, stability, transmission range, etc. will vary. If supported by your router, connect via [n].
[n] : Recommended by Sony. Supports HD image quality playback.
[g] : Not as fast as [n], but stable.
[b] : Not recommended for streaming videos.
If the error does not go away, it may be possible to resolve the issue by manually changing the Primary DNS to 8.8.8.8and Secondary DNS to 8.8.4.4 in the Network Setup of the Sony® product.

I guess that there is 2 possibilities that I can think of.
One is that you are using a single IP address and only one device is getting it at any given time. However with a router I would not think that this is the issue. But just to be sure... I am assuming that the Netgear router's WAN/Internet port is connected to the Comcast modem. The Netgear router should be configured with it's DHCP services enabled. I am assuming that the AirPort Express (AX) is connected via Ethernet to one of the Netgear router's LAN ports. The AX should be configured to act as a bridge (not sharing a single IP address).
The other possibility is that the bandwidth is getting entirely consumed by the Samsung Blu-ray and the MacBook has no opportunity to get any data.

MacBook Pro / Mozilla Firefox / Netflix / Silverlight Update solved - DON'T DWNLOAD FROM NETFLIX
I solved this problem tonight. I have a MacBook Pro with 10.5.8. I know, it's old. But I love my Netflix and I recently noticed that Firefox plays Netflix much better. Then I suddenly got this message that I needed to download the latest Silverlight - it only takes 30 seconds! - WRONG. However, after much searching, I finally did the steps in order and it worked.
This was after repeatedly downloading Silverlight from the Netflix site without success. So here's what I did:
1. Went to http://www.microsoft.com/getsilverlight/Get-Started/Install/Default.aspx
2. Followed the directions. I felt like such an idiot for not doing it right before.
3. Go to your hard drive and search for "Silverlight" to locate ANY existing Silverlight files: .dmg, etc.
[also check your Libary/ Internet Plug-ins, but the above search is faster]
4. Drag it all to the trash and empty it.
5. Go back to the Get Silverlight page and click on the Install on that page, not the Netflix site.
6. Note the steps for Safari or Mozilla Firefox - I wanted Firefox, so I follwed those instructions.
7. Once it's installed, close all the browsers and Restart that bad boy. Right away.
8. Open a browser, go to Netflix and proceed to joyfully rot your brain with Netflix content. Yay! -
I can no longer stream Netflix after the security update. I keep on getting a system requirements message form Netflix. It worked fine before the security update and I can stream on IE.

When i delete photos from photo stream in iphoto .. The pictures are still there on my iphone's photo stream. They are both connected to the same i cloud account.. And i cannot update to ios 5.1 on iphone.. Any help ??

Yes, you have to connect the iPod to that computer and go to the Photos pane for the iPod in iTunes and uncheck sync photos and the click on synce/apply. In the future do not check sync photos.

- Settings>Messages>Send and receive and sign out your ID and sign into hers. Make sure that only her ID email address is listed.

- Settings>iCloud and sign out and sign in with hers
Contnue to use the commpn ID/account for Settings>iTunes and App stores. -

When reading instructions on how to set up WDS it states cannot set up WDS with an 802.11n airport express, which is what they told me to purchase. How do I set up this Airport Express to extend my internet signal from my modem & airport to be able to stream internet capability to my TV?

Cannot stream Netflix on TV with airport at the same time.
I have called every 800 number with an Indian accent available. I have called Comcast, Samsung, and my local Apple dealer. They all say i need to call each other's support network. No help. They just read from a computer a response that I have by now memorized. I'm about to send my new Samsung 2500 back to Amazon.
Here's the deal: I have a Comcast modem for internet and phone. I have a Netgear router. I have a Samsung Blu-ray 2500 DVD player that streams NetFlix and I have Airport Express. After hours of fidgeting, I have finally figured out that I can either stream NetFlix or get internet for my MacBook but not both. Period. So, I can run my Airport wireless or my Netflix on TV but not both. I am somewhat techno impaired but in some of the discussions someone mentioned that you cannot have two IP addresses for one cable OR you cannot have one IP address and run NetFlix and surf the web on your laptop. The second seems absurd. In the very fine print, Samsung says that some IP's will not let you stream NetFlix. Does anyone know if that is true with Comcast? Comcast themselves didn't know (honest! - at least not the boiler plate email I got back said they didn't). It honestly starts to get funny when I go through all the set up online with my Samsung and then they give me a password to start streaming movies. BUT, to do this, I must disconnect my Samsung to get online with my laptop to plug in the password. By the time I do that, the password time has expired! LOL!! Besides, I don't even think it would work by the time I switched back to "live" NetFlix. So, I have all this stuff and I still can't watch a movie on TV.I guess that there is 2 possibilities that I can think of.

None of these steps work, also tried hard reboot. . Cannot update or install new apps. Just says waiting. Internet data working fine. My iPhone works fine. This is all on my iPad
Make sure that you do not have a stalled download in iTunes - a song or podcast .... if you have a download in there that did not finish, complete that one first. Only one thing can download at a time on the iPad so that could be what is causing the problem.
If that doesn't work - sign out of your account, reboot the iPad and then sign in again.
Settings>Store>Apple ID. Tap your ID and sign out. Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
Go back to Settings>Store>Sign in and then try to update again. Tap one waiting icon only if necessary to start the download stream.
Sometimes resetting all settings can help as well. Settings>General>Reset>Reset all settings. If you do that - you will have to enter all of you app and device preferences again. -
Error message iPod cannot update b/c all of the playlists no longer exist
Hello. I have been getting this error message. "Songs on the iPod "MAR(the name of my iPod)" cannot update because all of the playlists selecting for updating no longer exist." And my playlists are still on the left side in my iTunes. They do exist. I have a feeling ths might have to do with the fact that on vacation the person I was visiting gave me a gift of putting all of his music that would fit into the external hard drive part of my iPod, and for the past week or so I have been putting that music onto my 40 GB portable hard drive at home. I suspect I took a vital folder out of my iPod by accident. Right now I have the folder iPod_control if I open my iPod up in My Computer. Am I missing something? Right now my iPod is empty because iTunes made a composite playlist last week and I deleted it thinking I could get my real playlists back. Can you help me, or reccomend a site/someone who can? Thank you.

let's just doublecheck this. folks get this message if they have "automatically update selected playlists only" selected in their itunes "ipod" preferences tab. so bring up that tab ("edit > preferences", click "ipod" while the ipod is showing up in the source list), and do a playlist by playlist crosscheck of the playlists selected in that tab, and the playlists showing up in the itunes sourcelist.
is there any playlist selected in the preferences tab that isn't showing up in the sourcelist?

I cannot update my iPod. This is the error message I continually get when I try. 'Songs on the iPod "Aimee's iPod" cannot be updated because all of the playlists selected for updating no longer exist.' I can see the playlists on the iTunes screen but when I tried to update it removed all songs from my iPod completely. I have tried reinstalling the iTunes software and the problem persists. Does anyone have any ideas. I have searched the Apple support website and cannot resolve. Thank you, in advance, for any assistance provided.

I cannot update my ipad2 to ios5. Updating through iTunes on pc Windows Vista, Error message reads "cannot connect to iPad Software Update Server. Tried resetting network settings, still not connecting. Tried updating iTunes, still not connecting.

Additional things to try.
Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

I have a brand new ipad with iOS 6.1.3 and an imac with OS 10.5.8. I cannot update my OS on this machine, but want to sync the new ipad. What can I do?
If it's an Intel Mac, you can upgrade it to Mac OS X 10.6.8.
If it's a PowerPC Mac, you need to use these instructions and/or iTunes Match to put content on the iPad.

After this error the whole install begins a cascade failure.
Bill@VT has the correct troubleshooting procedure though. Download the update and try updating locally rather than through the ARM updater. -
Cannot update data from DSO to Cube with further update in process chain
Hi Guys,
This is the message am getting when am trying to update to cube by process further update with process chain.Process fails at further update with the following below message.
However at DSO level i can see the data mart status but no request at cube level.
Error Message:
Cannot update request REQU_D57WAP7Z2WAI1CG5Y5OQ5W7JR in data target
Message no. RSM1523
Diagnosis
System checks show that request REQU_D57WAP7Z2WAI1CG5Y5OQ5W7JR cannot be
updated to a data target.
The system checked whether
o request REQU_D57WAP7Z2WAI1CG5Y5OQ5W7JR is already in the data target
o the data target has active update rules for the InfoSource
o the data target was selected for updating
o locks exist
o for a DataStore object as a data target, that the request was
updated in the correct order, if the DataStore object stipulates
When i check the monitor screen under status tab it says "A caller 01, 02 or equal to or greater than 20 contains an error meesage" and under details tab "Data Package 1 : arrived in BW ; Processing : Data packet not yet processed "

It seems you used infopack when you select update data inot datatarget then system prompts you a infopack.That's the infopack which is generated by system being used in process chain variant to update data into datatarget.
Create new infopack/ DTP manually then use that infoapck/DTP on the process chain variant then try.
