Cannot submit online form for distribution agreement

Hi,
Just trying to submit the online form for a distribution agreement for Adobe Reader installation on our network and the submit button is greyed out.
I have completed all of the mandatory fields, I have javascript enabled on my browser *(ie.9).
Any help would be appreciated.

Try filling out the form in Reader without using the Reader plug-in in the browser.

I ran into your post while having a similar issue. I don't have a 'full' fix for you, but I noticed at least in our case if you made sure you opened the Infopath form through the browser instead of the client Infopath program (use the drop-down menu
and open in browser) the error doesn't occur. Hope that helps some....

I have infopath form in Infopath 2010, i have publish by choosing option Publish form to a sharepoint Library. It has been publish well.
I have made data connection for submit this form as a document file, it also got succed.
When i filling data and click to Submit option then i am getting following error message-->
InfoPath cannot submit the form.
An error occurred while the form was being submitted.

What i have missed , is any fruitfull suggestion on the same?

Is your InfoPath form is fully trusted. Please check once. You can set this to true from "Security and Trust" option.

Hi Sravan, this means that one or more of the fields are required to be filled in or have validation set up on them so that the information entered matches a certain criteria. Make sure what's entered matches what's required. If the form still can't be
submitted, check the rules set in InfoPath and the list/library to see what's causing the error(s).

Error submitting form for Distribution:
"The filename you specified is not valid because it does not include a .pdf extension, contains one or more invalid characters or teh path preceding it refers to a protected system location."
Tried removing dashes from filename, shortenign filename, moving to root directory. No changes. File ends with a .pdf extension.
This is my first attempt to distribute via acrobat.com

I found that I got that same message using Acrobat Professional to send out a document for shared review. I had an exclamation mark in the title of the PDF. When I took out the exclamation mark, it worked.
So maybe try taking out anything "unusual" (parentheses, dashes, exclamation marks, etc.) in the file name and see if that helps.

Sorry for the delay and confusion about the application process. That was my fault as I thought your application through our normal channel would at least flag a manual response from the team that works on licensing.
As it stands, we're currently working through legal and logistical issues for PPAPI distribution. We hope to have a mechanism in place in the coming months. I should also note that we do not have plans at this time to create an MSI or PKG version of the ppapi installer. Of course, we'll reevaluate if there's demand.
I'd like to understand your use case a bit better. Would you mind dropping me an email at [email protected] and explaining how you'll be using the ppapi build and how many clients you expect to distribute to?

the problem seems to be that the interactive pdf form that used to open within the browser is now opening outside the browser (both IE8 and Firefox) as a temp file so I can fill it out but when I hit "save for later" or "submit" I get the adobe error "error opening url to submit this form". What setting has gotten set incorrectly? I have been using this site for years with no problem up until recently.

Acorbat Reader users cannot submit my form to me

I created a form for use by the nine members of my brokerage team. Some people have Acrobat Standard; but some only have Reader. It seems as if the Reader users are unable to submit the forms. When the Reader users click on the button to e-mail the form back to me, they get an error message saying "This operation is not permitted."
I have looked for solutions online, but cannot find any that fit this situation, given the versions of Acrobat that are being used: Pro XI (used by three of us with Creative Cloud), Standard X, Reader (multiple). The solutions that have been posted involve making changed within the Registry; and those solutions that do not involve the Registry make suggestions for setting changes within Pro that don't even exist in my version of Pro XI. (Go figure.)
It would be really nice to get this issue resolved once and for all. If anyone has any recommendations, I would love to hear them.

You don't need to change the registry. It sounds like the form is set up so that the entire PDF is included in the submit, instead of just the form data. For this to work with Reader versions prior to 11, the document needs to be Reader-enabled, since Reader otherwise is not able to save a filled-in form. This won't be needed if Reader 11 is used since it is able to save a non-enabled form (AcroForm, not XFA).

How do I reset responses (and summary report data) and use my online form for a new application?

I created my online form, distributed it and captured the responses - worked well. Now I want to use the same form and start over (track the responses separately from the first time). How do I reset the results / responses? Thanks for any help you provide.

Go to the My Forms tab on the main dashboard (were all of your forms are listed). Select your form and hit the duplicate button. This will make a copy of your form and you have the option to include or not include the responses in the copy.

Submitting forms for distribution

I am currently designing several different forms for my department to use when carrying out various procedures. I am distributing them to my team and they fill them out whenever required then hit 'submit' to send them back to me. The problem I have is that when they come in, they all have the same subject message 'Submitting completed form'. Am I able to change this? Its not the end of the world because the attatchment carries the form name, it would be handy though when filtering my inbox.

If you want to use Adobe tracking I don't think you have the ability to control the subject dynamically.
However, submitting to a server-side script is a better approach to using adobe tracking, and it has the ability to control the subject, body, e-mail to, cc, bcc by pulling data from form submission values.
PDFEmail.net server-side scripts can e-mail and attach the WHOLE PDF without 3rd party e-mail software such as OUTLOOK.

I am having trouble with the handle bars for music fade in and fade out. It doesn't work. I also cannot see wave forms for music. Cannot select - it is grey. On a deadline and really having problems.

I am trying to finish a video and I want to fade the music in and out. I have read every tutorial I can get and the help info in iMovie. Nothing helsp. I cannot get it to fade by just sliding the handle bars. Other times, the music mutes completely when I try to add a fade. I try to view wave forms for music and it does not allow me to select . it remains grey. I am getting frustrated. I had no problem with 11 version. I now have 10.0.2 version. Can anyone help? my computer is latest Mac Book Pro 2013

A tip though - if you have a transition at the start or end of a clip it often obscures the fade handle. Trick is to temporarly move the transition (or delete it), move the fade handle then replace the transition.

PDF/A limiting use of online forms for some users - Acrobat 8

I have been creating fillable forms to post online for my program. A number of users (Adobe or Acrobat) get a message that says, "The file you have opened complies with the PDF/A standard and has been opened read-only to prevent modification." Folks who get this message cannot fill in the "fillable" form. Folks who don't get the message can complete the form without difficulty. When I check the settings in Word and Acrobat, I find no indication that the form is set to PDF/A.
I want every one with Adobe or Acrobe or Acrobat to be able to complete these forms. How can I correct this on my end so the forms are trouble free for users?

This should go right to the form. I have other fillable forms on this web page and they seem to be accessible to folks using reader. I really can't see what I did to this one. I've looked at the PDF/A setting and I don't think it's set to PDF/A. I've been working more with this one trying to fix the problem, but I think I either do nothing or make it worse ...

Cannot submit dynamic form when the form go to the same URL

I am using Safari 5.1 (7534.50). I am having problem on dynamic form submission.
When I click on the button 1 on the following form, it will open a page in a new window.
After that, if I push the button 2, the form cannot be submit and it won't open a new page.
If I push the button 1 again, the form cannot be submit again either.

This behaviour has been considered as a bug in Google Chrome and has currently been fixed.
I wonder if Apple will fix the same bug in the future?

I cannot access online statements for my credit card account when using firefox, but have no problem when using safari.

When I attempted to check the monthly statement for my credit card account and clicked on "See statement", the next screen that appeared, which was labeled Online Statement", was blank. In the past, I have never had any problems with this. When I checked with the bank that issued the credit card, the representative I spoke with said that it was a browser issue and that, since I was working on a Mac, I should try using Safari. When I switched to Safari, I had no problem bringing up my statement. But I would prefer to be able to use Firefox to obtain information like this, since it's the browser I always use.

Can you upgrade your browser to Firefox 12 and check?

I have a requirement where i need to get the user entered value in the Parameter of a concurrent program while submitting it. i tried to query the FND_CONCURRENT_REQUESTS table but in that it stores the ID values from the value set of the Parameter.
After submitting the Concurrent request when we click on the view Details button it opens a form where it displays the arguments in the parameter field . i want to get that string.
