I use a 9860 which I bought brand new from Amazon a few months ago. 2 weeks ago, it began to reflect that the battery was bad and after a while, it could not completely boot and therefore not come on. I then changed the battery and same issue still persists. An expert had a look at it and said it was a hardware/board problem and its best if i contact RIM. does anyone have another idea as this has not proved very helpful? I urgently need help please

If the device is defective, as it sounds like it is, then there isn't much recourse for you except to contact the Amazon seller. All device warranty goes through the wireless service providers who are authorized resellers of BlackBerry devices. You can contact RIM directly for support but it is a charge of $50 for each incident.

How can I get my Apple TV airplay to work from my PC. On the airplay symbol it says Multiple Peakers please choose but I cannot switch off my computer speakers and switch on my Apple TV speakers so cannot get airplay to work from my PC. Everything is OK when using my Ipod touch.

Don't use Multiple Speakers option and just choose the AppleTV
What are you trying to Airplay? If it's iTunes content it's simpler to 'pull' the stream from the Computers icson on AppleTV by selecting the libarry and media.
If you are attempting to Airplay the desktop you can't.

Cannot switch base units on Goods Receipt PO copied from Purchase Order

I am wondering if there is a simple trick or setting for this or if we have to use a UDF/FMS...
When using Uom for sales and purchasing, you cannot switch between Yes and No for base units on the target document(GRPO) when copying a PO to GRPO.
For example, enter a purchase order selecting 'No' for base units and enter quantity 1 for item with Uom case(25 pcs in a case). 25 are ordered. If the warehouse receives 23 instead of a full case from the supplier, they want to be able to enter 23 on the GRPO(copied from PO). They don't want the warehouse staff calculating what percentage to put in for quantity (23/25 = 0.92), they would just like them to use the drop down box and change the base units to Yes and receive the quantity 23 units.
Any suggestions?

How often this would happen? If it is very frequent, my suggestion would be considering it when you create PO. You know, if you could change that option, the link between PO and GRPO will be broken. It is not recommended.

Cannot switch tabs past a tab viewing a PDF

When I have a tab open with a PDF in it (using Adobe Acrobat 9.3.0.148 plugin) I cannot switch tabs using Ctrl-Tab and Ctrl-Shift-Tab past that particular tab. Ctrl-W won't close the tab with the PDF in it either. It looks like if you dont click within the PDF document or one of the viewer plugin toolbars etc it will let you tab past, as soon as you click within the PDF it no longer works, even if you change to a different tab and then try going past it again. Using the mouse scroll wheel to scroll through the document does not cause this behaviour to kick in either. Also in this state you cannot use Ctrl-F when you tab onto the PDF tab unless you click on the PDF itself (same goes for cursor keys and page up/down keys). FF2 used to allow you to tab past the PDFs without any issue, i noticed this on 3.5.1 while upgrading to 3.6.3. So its like keyboard focus is lost somewhere between FF and the PDF plugin.
I remember in FF2 you used to get a faint rectanglular highlight within the tab so you could tell the focus was on the tab not within the page. Thats also gone now.
I havent been able to find an existing bug specificaly on this issue, or any other potential work arounds. So just want to check before i log a bug, of course this could be an Adobe plugin issue, although it does appear to be linked with how the focus is maintained on components within FF.

Wifi and bluetooth function cannot switch on

I created a PO from a P.Rq. [ from MDO4]
NOW WHEN i TRY TO DO GOODS RECEIPT .....MIGO
i GET "you cannot switch to a movement type without ref. to a PO"
{You have replaced the movement type suggested with another movement type that does not refer to a purchase order.}
I have used the PO as reference that was created from the P.Rq. nothing was edited.(mvt 501 was self proposed in migo)
what does the system want me to here ?

Check in MIGO Transaction, what is the movement type showing GR for Goods Receipt in right side.If it is showing 501 , changed it to 101 Movement type make it Change to Default Values 101. Now you can post GR with respect to PO.
Note:
501 Movement type used for receiving goods without PO
101 Movement type used for receiving goods with respect to PO

3 If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
4 Try on another computer

Photoshop CS6 cannot switch tools by using the keyboard. Glitch in the program?

Using Mac OS 10.10.2, I cannot switch from lasso tool to paint bucket by using keyboard only. I have to hit the spacebar each time I switch tools. This also affects lasso to pencil tool.

What I have found is that when I upgraded from PSE12 to 13, my Lightroom 5.6 still selected PSE12 in the list of external editors. I had to use the preferences menu to select the right PhotoshopElementsEditor.exe in the Program Files/Adobe/Photoshop Elements 13 folder. I got a message stating that Photoshop Elements was already selected as external editor. In that message box, there is a button with the option to 'change anyway', which I did. Now LR correctly opens PSE13 when I choose Edit in Elements.
