Cannot switch songs while in lock screen

Since I upgraded to IOS7, I am not able to switch songs while in lock screen. I was able to do this without any issue in all my previous versions. It worked in Music as well as Pandora. Now, I have to first unlock the screen then switch.
The funny part is that the forward, stop and previous buttons are all there but pressing on them does absolutely nothing.
Does anyone know if this is an option I can change or is it indeed a bug?

You can report this via the feedback option on your iTunes Help menu.
Ctrl-L seems to work correctly when not in full screen mode.
STRG = Ctrl on an English Keyboard.

If you open the recovery drive (partition) it should only have a single folder (Recovery).
To make sure that your not saving restore points to that drive.
See:
Start, Control Panel, System, System Protection tab. Make sure the D drive partition is set to OFF so that it does not save there.

Instead of trying to restore through iTunes, use the Find My iPhone to your advantage.
Either go to www.icloud.com and perform a remote wipe of the device via FMiP, or download the FMiP app to another iOS device and do it from there.
A remote wipe will also restore the device back to factory settings.

Switch Users Option on Lock Screen

I am at a community college setting up new macs for a lab. When someone doesn't log out and let the computer lock up, there is no option to switch users. The computer has to be turned off for someone else to log in. The older macs we replaced showed this option. I just want to know how to get it on the lock screen.

Try System Preferences/Users & Groups/Login Options - Show fast user switching menu as. You will need to have more than one user set up.

My AV switched the Novell GINA + Lock Screen to Microsoft's

Hello, I Installed the free FortiClient-Lite AV v5 on WinXP SP3 with the Novell Client v4.91 SP5 on an old work laptop.
FortiClient has replaced the Novell GINA (a.k.a. Logon screen) with Microsoft's by deleting the following registry key:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon]
"GinaDLL"="NWGINA.DLL"
I restored this successfully, but my Lock screen has remained as Microsoft's instead of the Novell Client's "Workstation Locked" screen? My Network Connections > Advanced Settings > Provider Order has remained the same (NetWare Services at the top).
I experience a new delay showing my Windows desktop after logon, but this was probably due to pre-existing XP quirks that FortiClient's changes exposed. Otherwise, FortiClient is a nice AV, with Parental Controls via web-filtering categories plus AV swinging it for me.

Cannot set wallpaper on the lock screen

I've just been trying to change my wallpaper on the lock screen of my iPhone 5C (iOS v7.0.3 or 11B511) and it doesn't accept any wallpaper I select. It keeps coming back with the same grey wallpaper irrespectively of what I select.
Has anyone seen this behaviour and maybe know how to resolve it?

No, it is not a bug. It is something occuring exclusive to you device. Mine (and everyone I know using iOS 7 is not seeing this issue. A couple of things you might try:
Carefully follow the procedure an ensure you are doing correctly. You probably are, but since I can actually look over your shoulder ...
Ensure you are using an image that can function as wall paper (i.e. try several). Also, if you have reduced motion, you may have an issue using dynamic backgrounds (but I have NOT tested this myself).
Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps BEFORE doing the reset.

Skippinig CD cannot be ejected while importing -- locks up iTunes

while importing my library of audioCD (store bought) some of them have scratches. When iTunes encouters this, I cannot get it to skip the track. Or stop trying to import by typing the "x" in the "apple window". Nor can I eject the CD. I've had to force quit every time. And, yes I adjusted my preferences in advanced to "repair CD" -- still no help.

This is indeed, at least in my opinion, a longstanding bug with iTunes for Mac. No alert message of any kind to the effect that the import process is failing/has failed, and no way to exit the process. Unfortunately, probably the best way to grab the bull by the horns is to simply use a straightened paper clip to depress the emergency eject switch next to your optical drive (if you computer has one of these nifty things). It's definitely better than letting your drive burn itself out in an endless loop trying to read something it simply never will. After ejecting a disc this way, it's good practice to restart the computer.
Once you have experienced this kind of behavior with a scratched CD, repair the disc (or have it repaired). I have a small tin of Brasso, and have repaired dozens of badly damaged discs with it. You can read up on how to do this on the web. Otherwise, use a program such as Max to rip the disc, making sure to select the paranoia ripper within the program's preferences. In all likelihood, you'll get a near perfect rip, and even if the program gets stuck reading some part of the CD, you can at least gracefully bow out of the operation without your computer hanging.

Cannot change user account or lock screen picture

Our Windows 8 is activated and updated, and we are able to click "browse" and click photos, but it buffers and then displays an error. We fixed the registry key but nothing seems to work. Help?

I cannot access music in lock screen

After updating to ios 7, using the control panel I cannot play music from my lock screen. I can press play and skip all I want and it will not do anything.
I have to unlock my phone and go into music to play the music. Once locked, the small music player at the top of the lock screen comes up but I cannot use this either, same problem. It also doesn't respond to my FM tuner remote anymore.

I'm having the same issue. It's very annoying as I listen to music religiously and having to unlock and select the music app to change songs or turn music on quickly was not an issue with my 4.

Frankly - with all due respect - I wish Apple would keep all of that social media crap of the iOS integration - and concentrate on more useful computing type features. But that's just my opinion.

Cannot take a picture from the lock screen

Hey,
I cannot take pictures from the lock screen. I push the home button, i see the icon of the camera but when i try to push it the whole screen bumps slightly up and then settles back down without opening the camera app.
Any ideas as to why this is happening?

Press down on the Camera icon, and then drag the screen up. iOS 5.1 introduced the slide camera rather than the button to press on. I believe people were complaining about accidentally pressing it, not sure though.

I set the passcode using international keyboard with 'dead key' characters. The keyboard module in the change passcode application worked correct to change my two keystrokes to one. But the lock screen's keyboard is not behaving the same and I'm locked out now. (even though I know my password!)
Is it possible to change the password while in lock screen? Or is there any other solution for this issue other than restoring the iphone?

If the passcode will not work, the only alternative is to restore the phone as new. You cannot change the passcode from the lock screen.
