Cannot sync app to iPhone 4S via iTunes

I purchase infinity blade 2 app for my iPhone 4 and do lots of in app purchase up to USD 38.73. Now I try iCloud backup for my new iPhone 4S 64GB Black unit but the iCloud backup is workless because it's says no backup available and ask me to use it as a new iPhone. Then I try iTunes Backup. It backup every single photo, apps, and device settings. But it doesn't sync my infinity blade 2 app. I try app sync up to ten times but the results are same and that is infinity blade 2 app failed to install. Now I'm so worried and sad because I scare I will loss all infinity blade 2 data and my in app purchase up to USD 38.73 it's a huge waste. PLEASE SOMEBODY HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It will download infinity blade 2 app to my new iPhone 4S at no charge but will it also restore the data on old iPhone 4 to this new iPhone 4S. I mean I can take back from where I left or I have to start from zero. Plus I ask Mac City, the authorised reseller of apple consumer products and they say iPhone 4 powered by apple A4 chip and iPhone 4S powered dual core A5 chip, so the data not compitable from A4 to A5. Is that truth? If it is what about my in app purchase?

Connect & select iPhone in iTunes Sudebar (iTunes > View > Show Sidebar), in Music tap (right pane top), select Sync Music and the music you want on iPhone then click Apply button (bottom right).

On you iPhone, force close all the Apps in the multitask window.
Follow these steps to force an app to close:
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it one by one until all cleared
Now do a Soft reset of your iPhone:
Hold both Home and Sleep button for around 10secs until you see the Apple logo then release. After it returns to Home screen, connect to sync and see if this resolves the issue.

1) The files are in the iTunes folder. The iTunes folder is in your Music folder which is in your home folder (user).
So go to <user home>/Music/iTunes.
2) Any files that end with .xml, .itl, or itdb. Please note that I had upgraded iTunes many times over the years and had several obsolete versions of those files in my iTunes folder. By moving them out and forcing iTunes to create new ones (see steps 3 & 4 above), I was able to determine which ones iTunes actually needed. Those were the files that I copied back into the iTunes folder, overlaying the new empty files.
3) Always make backups before you try tricks like this. I would recommend backing up your entire iTunes folder. I did not experience any data loss. Those files seem to contain your iTunes library information but not the actual music, movies, etc. When I started iTunes in step 3 (see above), iTunes showed an empty library. After performing step 4 (see above), I started iTunes again and it showed all my music, movies, etc. So I assume that the actual media files are stored elsewhere. Again, always make backups before trying something like this. I use Time Machine.

ICal mysteriously no longer syncs with my iPhone 3gs via iTunes sync

My iCal mysteriously no longer syncs with my iPhone 3gs via iTunes sync. It worked great until about a month ago. I've made over 300 Calendar changes to my iPhone 3gs' Calendar, but not a single item has synced back to my iCal on my iMac, when I sync my iTunes (which I do almost daily). In addition, I've created some items on my iCal, as a test, and none of them sync onto my iPhone 3gs.
What gives? Ideas? Suggestions?

Well, I was able to manually sync my iPhone to my iCal one time, but haven't been able to get it to sync Calendar info since then. It was moderately successful, so I could export an iCal backup file. However, I ended up with about 200 MORE duplicate items on my iPhone, and what's weird is that many of these duplicates do NOT have any "edit" functionality! So I a, stuck with them being on the day they are at right now. Grrrrrr

Hi everyone!
I bought a new laptop lately, and I wanted to sync all the applications on the iphone with itunes, but it keeps saying, "please authorize your computer" - which I already did. Then all my apps disappeared from the phone, so I downloaded everything to iTunes again, and tried to sync, but it seems that the apps cannot be synced with the phone. I tried to download every program to the phone again, and then sync it again, but it still won't work. I reinstalled iTunes and visited the support page and tried everything regarding the authorization and deauthorization articles there (administration account, deleticn SC folder from program data etc), and it still does not work. I can see all the apps on the computer, but when I want to sync, it simply won't copy anything to the phone. So I have to download every program from app. store via my phone, and it works perfectly, until I connect the phone with the computer. I searched for an apple email address, but I cannot find anything (I live in Hungary, Europe, and I just realized that the apple support is really poor here).
Can somebody please help or just give me an official apple email address to write my problem to them as well?

I bought several apps, like 6 or 7, and the sync would error out, but the backups would be okay.
I guess I was trying to sync too many new applications at once. I ended up having to download my purchases via iTunes on my computer, then go to Apps on my iPhone in iTunes, and check one at a time, syncing after each, until all apps were installed.
If I tried to do anymore than one at a time, I would get iPhone not connected or trouble reading disk errors while syncing.

The screen for syncing Apps on my iPhone 4s is gray. I cannot sync new apps or change the icons on the windows (right side of sync window). I am able to sync movies, music, photos.

There are applications which have been developed to work only with iPad; some with iPhone; some to work on both. Have you checked that the iPad applications you are trying to sync are compatible with iPhone?

Cannot sync apps to ipod touch from itunes

Before I purchased my used Ipod touch 2g or 3g online I downloaded Itunes onto my laptop and also download some free apps. However, once I received the used ipod which had some apps and music already installed on it. I cannot sync (transfer) the free apps from my computer to ipod. When I click on application at the top tab all apps on ipod shows but I cannot do anything with them. When I tried transfer purchased from ipod touch to computer a message pops up saying I do not have authorization, yet I authorize my computer. Any help will do!

you can only use apps with one account. If apps where bought using a different account, they will not transfer to your computer using your account.

Trouble Syncing Apps from iPhone 3GS to iTunes 10.2.1.

I have yet to update my iPhone 3GS to the newest OS because of an on-going issue I have been having with syncing my purchased apps on iTunes 10.2.1. Despite having authorized my computer and re-installing both iTunes and Quicktime, every time I try to sync my apps, I receive an error message that says that it was unable to sync my purchased apps because my computer has not been authorized. Since I did authorize my computer, this is obviously not true. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions for how to fix it? Thanks!

I have over 43,000 photos in my iPhoto and I bought a new iPhone 6 Plus so I am trying to sync specific events and albums back to the iPhone. The issue is that with 43,000 photos, iTunes just has a grey loading spiral going round and round in circles so it will not let me choose the normal menu which allows you to sync automatically or manually sync photos. It has been doing this for a day. I thought it might eventually pull itself together but, alas, not.
Help?
Is there a way to fix this or another app which allows me to sync the albums, event etc?

I just got a new iphone and tried to sync it with my itunes library. Itunes tells me that it will erase my iphone first as it is already synced with another itunes library. I had my ipod synced with another computer and transferred that library to my new laptop. My music was originally loaded to the library with some favorite CD's and I don't want to do all that over again. Will only my music get erased or will everything on my new iphone get erased?

Only iTunes media will necessarily be erased. There's no way around this.

Can I opt to only sync iPhone 4 via iTunes and NOT iCloud?

I only use the iCal, Contacts, and Mail parts of MobileMe. I sync all three via iTunes. I don't need to worry about any web storage or gallery or other stuff.
Because my MacBookPro is early 2008, I'm leery of upgrading to Lion, even though it's needed for iCloud. I don't want to deal with the decreased battery life or any downgrade in speed. My iPhone 4 is running the most current iOS.
If I don't upgrade to Lion, I accept that I can't migrate to iCloud via my MacBookPro.
Here are my questions:
1. If I don't physically initiate a migration to iCloud, will my .me/.mac mail accounts disappear or will I still be able to get my mail as usual using the mail apps on my MacBookPro and iPhone 4? Will I have to change any of the imap server settings after June 30?
2. For my contacts and iCal, will I be able to continue to sync to my iPhone 4 via iTunes, so that I can pretend iCloud doesn't exist? I realize any calendar/contacts changes wouldn't be immediately seen across all devices, but I don't need them to be--changes can wait until my next iTunes sync.
3. If I don't make any changes, will I be able to set up my iCloud stuff at a later date, after MobileMe is history?
4. If I simply MUST initiate a move to iCloud to "reserve my space" or whatever, is it something I could do via my iPhone or even on a newer computer at the Apple Store?
Basically, can I keep doing what I'm doing, postpone a Lion upgrade for now and ignore the move to iCloud, or will I break the internet?

Yes - deselect them before you sync.
I'm assuming that you auto sync so if you do sync that way - go ahead and sync your iPad again. But don't disconnect the iPad yet. After the sync completes - click on the iPad name on the left side of iTunes - then click on the apps tab on the right. Uncheck all of the iPhones apps under the list of apps to deselect them. When you have all of those apps deselected - click on Apply in the lower right corner of iTunes. This will remove them from the iPad and iTunes will remember this the next time that you sync.

I received the same error message after I had recently updated iTunes to 10.5.1 and I had wirelessly updated 13 apps. I had to go into iTunes and select Apps, on the bottom right it said I needed to update 13 apps. I updated the apps via iTunes and then synced again without an issue.

I wanted to sync my iphone 4 (cdma). I have synced it before successfully. I am getting an error "itunes cannot sync apps to the iphone because the apps installed on the iphone cannot be determined" and the apps and items follwoing apps in syncing (photos for example) will not sync. Items prior to apps synced (calendar/contacts). I restarted both my iphone (currently on ios 4.2.8) and my computer, itunes was on 10.6.1, same problem. I installed itunes 10.6.3, same problem. I had been waiting to update ios to 5.1.1 and would like to do that now, but wanted to sync first. Anyone have any ideas? I am stumped! Thank you.
