Cannot sync Calendar with iphone 3g/itunes

Not sure what happened but I cannot sync calendar with itunes.
Everything else works fine with syncing with Outlook 2007 through iTunes.
What specifically happens is everything will sync and when it gets to "syncing with calendar" the syncing process hangs, never completes.
Any help?

Try resetting the sync history. iTunes > Edit menu > Preferences > Devices tab, click the button. Then try syncing again.

I just installed the new itunes and cannot sync my lokal and exchange calender with my iphone and ipad. No problems with the icloud calendars. I must have a solution for my exchange business calender!

Syncing Calendars with iPhone via iTunes

On my iPhone I have calendars from my MobileMe Account and calendars from the sync function in iTunes. This has given my duplicates in many instances. So now I've gone into iTunes to check my settings and see that iCal calendars are only to be synced using MobileMe. Thinking a iTunes sync with no calendars selected would fix this problem, I refigured those settings with only one calendar selected. However, it is taking forever for Calendars to sync with my iPhone.
What is going on here?

Turned Calendar Syncing on my iPhone off then back on again. When the iPhone asked to merge calendars I said yes. Fixed the problem.

On you iPhone, force close all the Apps in the multitask window.
Follow these steps to force an app to close:
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it one by one until all cleared
Now do a Soft reset of your iPhone:
Hold both Home and Sleep button for around 10secs until you see the Apple logo then release. After it returns to Home screen, connect to sync and see if this resolves the issue.

There is no Info tab in Mavericks
if you use OS X v.10.8.5 or earlier. If you use OS X Mavericks v.10.9 or later, your contacts, calendars, and other info are updated on your computers and iOS devices via iCloud. For more information, see iCloud Help at icloud.com.

Connect & select iPhone in iTunes Sudebar (iTunes > View > Show Sidebar), in Music tap (right pane top), select Sync Music and the music you want on iPhone then click Apply button (bottom right).

Mavericks syncs Calendar via iCloud.
Make sure you have the same iCloud account set up on your mac and your iPhone.
In System Preferences > iCloud, make sure the Calendars checkbox is checked.
In System Preferences > Internet Accounts, iCloud should be an account in the box on the left, and Calendars should be checked in the box on the right. If you have other calendars, for example, from work, make sure those are enabled too.
Check the same settings on your iPhone: in Settings > iCloud, make sure the same iCloud account info is present and that the Calendars slider is on. in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars, make sure the iCloud account is present, and that the Calendars slider is on.

Ipad no longer syncs calendar with iphone 6

My iPad was working fine a few days ago in syncing calendars with my new iPhone 6; however, I just noticed that when I receive invites [ics] they appear on my iPhone but do not go into the cloud to appear on the iPad. I tested putting something on my calendar and that appeared on both devices; however, getting a test email from another person, it didn't show. I signed out/in back into icloud on the iPad and still not syncing. I feel the sync is broken and I don't know how to get it back. Can someone give me guidance on what to do? I sync wirelessly on both devices and have also synced the with the cable. NOTHING. I use a PC.

IOS 7.1.2 sync issue with iPhone 5 iTunes 11.2.2.3 windows 7

Unable to sync content with iPhone 5 after upgraded to iOS 7.1.2 running iTunes 11.2.2.3 on Windows 7. Photo albums are messed up initially, then re-sync a few times and ended up with iTunes summary tab status showing capacity usage as only "Other". All boxes under Option section are unchecked. Please help if anyone has the same problem and resolved.

Cannot Sync iCal with iPhone (2.0.1) and iTunes (7.7.1)

I tried to sync with iTunes this morning and I noticed that none of my calendar items were being synced. I did an search of the forums and found some old solutions. I tried them but none of them worked for me. Here's what I've tried:
1. Logging in to a different iTunes account
2. Resetting the history on iSync
3. in iTunes, going to Info>Advanced and replacing all the info on the iPhone
4. Full restore of the iPhone
5. Verifying that all the items are checked in the Info panel (calendar, address book, etc.)
I get this message when I try to sync: "iTunes could not sync calendars to the iPhone [my phone's name] because a sync session could not be started."
Again, I've tried all the possible solutions. I cannot remember the last time I synced. It may have been before iTunes updated.
I do not use MobileMe. Any ideas?

Here is the procedure:
Move the SyncServices folder located at ~/Library/Application Support/SyncServices to the desktop
Trash all the caches in ~/Library/Caches
Restart machine (with fingers crossed)

ITunes cannot sync apps. with iPhone

Hi everyone!
I bought a new laptop lately, and I wanted to sync all the applications on the iphone with itunes, but it keeps saying, "please authorize your computer" - which I already did. Then all my apps disappeared from the phone, so I downloaded everything to iTunes again, and tried to sync, but it seems that the apps cannot be synced with the phone. I tried to download every program to the phone again, and then sync it again, but it still won't work. I reinstalled iTunes and visited the support page and tried everything regarding the authorization and deauthorization articles there (administration account, deleticn SC folder from program data etc), and it still does not work. I can see all the apps on the computer, but when I want to sync, it simply won't copy anything to the phone. So I have to download every program from app. store via my phone, and it works perfectly, until I connect the phone with the computer. I searched for an apple email address, but I cannot find anything (I live in Hungary, Europe, and I just realized that the apple support is really poor here).
Can somebody please help or just give me an official apple email address to write my problem to them as well?

I bought several apps, like 6 or 7, and the sync would error out, but the backups would be okay.
I guess I was trying to sync too many new applications at once. I ended up having to download my purchases via iTunes on my computer, then go to Apps on my iPhone in iTunes, and check one at a time, syncing after each, until all apps were installed.
If I tried to do anymore than one at a time, I would get iPhone not connected or trouble reading disk errors while syncing.

Itunes on second computer cannot sync music with iphone

My primary computer for syncing my iphone is a imac and my secondary computer is a laptop running windows with itunes on it. When i set up iphone to sync with the laptop the music would not sync. The itunes version on the laptop can download purhcased songs. So i purchased new music through itunes on the laptop and now cannot sync that to the iphone without erasing all the other music on the iphone. Does anyone know how i can sync the purchased music on the laptop itunes with the iphone?
Grateful for any advice. I am not a satisfied user of apple itunes and iphone. I purchase music on itunes as I believe in paying for copyrighted music. Then when i own it apple software does not allow me to use it easily. Not really fair.

I also could not even manually drag and drop files onto my iPhone from my second computer. I have a video iPod, Shuffle and now iPhone. I drop songs onto both my shuffle and video iPod from THREE different computers (work, home and laptop). Are you telling me for some wacky reason we now cannot use more than one computer to drop files onto the iPhone?

Hi,
Since I did an upgrade of itunes on my phone I keep getting this error when trying to sync with my phone and itunes
"iTunes could not sync calendars to the iphone "iphone" because the sync server failed to sync the iPhone."
Any advice on how I can sync would be helpful as it is difficult when things arent updated.

I have the same problem.
After upgrading to latest iTunes I got an error saying "Itunes cannot run because some of it's required files are missing. Please reinstall iTunes". I fixed this by going into programs, found iTunes, right click and click repair (as detailed here: http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=2775935&tstart=0 )
So now I have same problem, iTunes can not sync calendars to the iphone.
I only ever have problems like this after an upgrade. Very frustrating and time-wasting Apple!

Sync calendar with iphone

i am not able to figure out how to sync my calendar on my computer with my iphone. i have shred my calendar with my girlfiend, no problem. when i change my calendar on my computer she gets the updates, but i can't get it to update on my iphone 5s. i really think it's inconvenient to have to do it via itunes. can't it just update when i plug it into the usb to charge? or updtae when i connect to my home network? i tried to look it up but the instructions tell me to go into itunes and click on the device button in the top right, but the is no button. it also says under the summary tab to select "Sync with this [device] over Wi-Fi". but that option does not exist either. both devices are up to date. it really shouldn't be this hard i would think.

Have you tried going to settings, mail contacts calendars , clicking on your email account and turning on the calendar? And then going to calendars app and clicking calendars in the bottom/ middle of the screen and marking off the calendars you wish to see?
