Cannot sync my iPhone with iTunes 12 mac as it says cannot allocate a resource. any solutions?
Can anybody help I have been trying to fix this for a few months now, I don't know whether it is the phone or a problem with yosemite. Any ideas?

Today I tried to sync my iphone with itunes on my PC, but unfortunately this box appeared ("This iPhone cannot be used because the required software is not installed. Run the iTunes installer to remove iTunes, then install the 64-bit version of iTunes.") and I tried to install the installer for windows 64 bit and the problem still the same.
Is there anyone please help me to solve this problem?
NB: I really need this to manage my musics and others.I had the same problem and this worked...

Cannot sync my iPhone with iTunes
Whenever I try to sync my iPhone with iTune I get the same message:
This computer is no longer authorized to play purchased items that are on the iPhone “Nadia's iPhone”. Would you like to authorize this computer for items purchased from the iTunes Store?
When I try to authorize I get the message:
This computer is already authorized.
Both devices are associated to the same iTune account.Click here and follow the instructions.

Can someone please help me? I cannot sync my phone with iTunes after updating the software, & my phone has no music. The message window keeps saying I don't have enough access privelages. It also won't recognize my new subscription to iCoud when I turn on iMatch in Settings. I have tried everything I can think of & am ready to throw this thing out of the window in frustration.
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to move everything to your new computer. -
On connecting my iphone 4S to itunes I am unable to add any music from my itunes library and get a message saying it is already synced with another itunes library on the same computer. As far as I am aware I only have one itunes library on the computer. Does anyone know how to fix this error please?

I cannot sync my iphone with itunes.
i cannot sync with new computer windows 7. I get a message "This iphone cannot be used because the apple mobile device service is not started.
i have to start in apple device propeties in services (the startup type is automatic but the service status is stopped) but when i click on start i get message " The apple mobile device service on local computer started and then stopped. Some services stop automatically if they are not in use by other services or programs.
Can someone please help.I had the same problem and this worked...

You need to buy and install a Mac OS X 10.6 DVD; once it's installed, run the Software Update pane of System Preferences twice.
There is no other way to sync it, but content can be downloaded directly from the iTunes Store servers; for non-purchased music, this requires signing up for iTunes Match, which costs more than the DVD.

On you iPhone, force close all the Apps in the multitask window.
Follow these steps to force an app to close:
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it one by one until all cleared
Now do a Soft reset of your iPhone:
Hold both Home and Sleep button for around 10secs until you see the Apple logo then release. After it returns to Home screen, connect to sync and see if this resolves the issue. -

And this didn't happen by syncing only. This means you transferred the backup for another iPhone or you restored the iPhone with iTunes. It is not possible for everything to be lost by syncing alone. All iTunes content on your iPhone can be lost but not any photos in the Camera Roll and the same for contacts unless you synced contacts with an empty address book application on your computer. -

If you are using a Windows based computer, try disabling a/v software and turning off the Firewall.
Disable antivirus software
Turn-Windows-Firewall-on-or-off
Then try syncing you iPhone. -

When I plug in my iPhone, along the top row of icons, a new one appears in the shape of a phone. If I click on that, I get a sidebar with info on my phone and to the right is information similar to what I'd see in previous versions of iTunes. I have it set up to sync when connected, so the sync starts immediately.
