Cannot syndicate back New Article record in SAP...

We are having a issue while syndicating back the New article record from MDM to SAP ..In SAP XML gets converted to ARTMAS Idoc....
System fails to post IDOC giving the error as "Error inserting in table MBEW"
I checked the error in detail and it gives the me following information in Error message:
" Error inserting in table MBEW
Message no. M3695
Diagnosis
When saving material master data, the system attempts to insert a new
     record in table MBEW. However, the table already contains a record at
     this point.
There is an inconsistency in the data base. Possible reasons for this
     are:
o   material master data has not been created with the transations
         defined for this purpose
o   number range intervals have been used up
Procedure
Contact your systems administrator immediately. "
Please let me know if anyone has faced this issue earlier and how did they fix it....

This sounds more like an ALE error than a MDM issue. However you can try a few things.
First, write down the IDoc number of the failed IDoc. Go to transaction WE19 and enter the IDoc number. Run that transaction and select the inbound function module that is configured in ALE. This will let you step through the process of processing the IDoc and see exactly where it fails.
You may also want to check your partner profile in WE20 and take a look at the parameters (inbound options) that are selected.
Also, you may want to post this on the XI forums, as they will be able to help you a bit more.

Cannot push back new calendar events to Mac, duplicate calendars, more...

I'm having tons of issues with iCal and my iPhone since 2.1. New events entered on my iPhone show up in MobileMe online, but not on my Mac, ever. Duplicate calendars are starting to show up in my iPhone, and now NONE of my calendars are showing up in MobileMe (all my events are still there though). What gives Apple?

Apple, have you even read this post? MobileMe/iPhone service is terrible, simply awful. New events in my laptop calendar sometimes don't show up on my iPhone, or from my iPhone to my laptop, events are showing up twice other times, calendars are being duplicated, this is a total mess. I need this calendar to keep track of meetings and appointments, and at this rate, I simply cannot trust the iPhone to do this right.
I remember when Apple products "Just Worked". Now, they simply don't work well at all.

Creating New Employee Record

I am very new to SAP HR module. Is anybody knows hoe to create new employee record in SAP HR module?
Other than creation, My requirement also is to edit some data given pernr number using pa30 transaction.

To hire an employee, go to PA40.
Leave the personnel number field blank; as it is internally given by the system.
Give the date on which the employee is being hired.
Select 'Hiring' action from the list of actions.
Press F8(Execute).
This leads to different Infotype records, which need to be filled and saved accordingly.

YOu need to be clear about the products you are using, so we can help you. In particular there is no trial of Adobe Reader, it is free and keeps running. Sounds like you are using some versions of Acrobat - which?
YOu must properly uninstall the trial, don't just delete files or you may get a mess impossible to recover.

MuVo - When new track begins I cannot rewind back into the end of the previous tra

Hi all, here is my problem. i tried to put it in a formal way to ease the reading.
Player: Creative MuVo 52MB TX FMFirmware: Creative MuVo TX FM Audible Firmware Upgrade Version .3.03
Problem: When new track begins I cannot rewind back into the end of the previous track. If I want to hear the end of a track I have to start from the beginning and fast <SPAN>froward through the tracks entirety towards the end of the track. This is especially frustrating when listening to a 20+ minute podcast or audiobook and all I want is to here the last couple of minutes. As stated in the user manual "frequent use of fast <SPAN>froward/reverse" will use more battery power and this is not an acceptable solution for wanting to hear the last couple of minutes. (Usually this happens when i am interrupted and the next track has already started, etc.)
Suggested solution: If a user is at 00:00:00 and the user holds the rewind button then user shall start rewinding from then end of the last track. An analogy of this would be if you fast <SPAN>froward to a new chapter on a DVD player and then press and hold rewind, it allows you to rewind through the end of the skipped chapter. Please include this functionality in the next firmware update.

I imagine there are several ways to implement your idea. One way would be to have the firmware let you: () begin rewinding from any point in the current program; (2) when rewind reaches the 00:00:00, a tone could be emitted (this would alert the user that s/he has reached the beginning of the current program); (3) then the user could either decide to stop there or (4) by holding down the rewind, say, 2-3 seconds, the rewind would be forced to 'skip' back to the end of the previous program.
If the user is not listening to the program while rewinding (and thus cannot hear the tone), this should not be a problem, as the display would make clear what is happening.
On another issue...
Regarding your comment "...creative does a good job with the timing of the fast-foward/rewind feature available now," I beg to differ. In my experience, the timing of the TX FM's rewind makes it very difficult for a user to do an 'instant replay' of a short audiobook section. This is frequently needed when a narrator's voice is unclear, or the user is distracted by something.
For example, say I want to review the last 5 seconds. This is impossible, as the rewind specifications cause the rewind to behave approximately as follows:
- First 3 seconds realtime rewinds program 6-7 seconds
- After that, each second realtime rewinds 30 seconds; so each additional second rewinds 30 seconds
- Of course, it gets faster and faster thereafter (in 30-second, 5-minute, and 5-minute segments)
You see, therefore, that it is impossible to efficiently skip back 5 seconds, as the rewind goes back 6-7 seconds, then skips all the way back to the 37-second point. The only way to go back 5 seconds (a couple of sentences) is to: () overshoot your target by an unknown number of seconds, then wait a long time until your desired segment appears, or (2) tediously rewind 5-6 seconds; wait until the TX FM is ready for another rewind; rewind another 5-6 second segment; wait again; then rewind another short segment to get to the 5-seconds-back point. For the most part I use method (2), but do not always release the rewind button in time each of 3 times before the accelerated rewind kicks in. What a drag!
The Audible Otis player, as I recall, did not have this particular problem, though its buttons were harder to manipulate.
I would doubt whoever designed this rewind specification has experience listening to audiobooks.
CREATIVE: We need a rewind function that eventually picks up speed, but I would recommend that the most recently played approx. 30 seconds of program time be accessible via a rewind compressed to appox. 5 seconds realtime.

SAP IS Retail Outbound Idoc Creation for New Articles

Hi SAP Gurus,
Good day!
I would like to inquire if you are familiar with the necessary set up to create OUTbound Idocs to be sent to POS whenever a new article is created. I have already activated the Change Pointers for the Message Types for IS Retail via BD50. However, this did not solve the issue. I have an existing material which ably triggers the idoc change;however, when I try accessing the materials I created recently, no idocs are created.

New ios 7 have problem with news stand, I cannot grab the news stand to get back home as usual gesture.

If you try to delete a backup but get an alert that the backup is in use, wait 48 hours before trying again. A backup is considered in use if it was recently created by another iOS device or is being restored by another iOS device. If you can't delete the backup after 48 hours, contact Apple Support.

Excel - Cannot see any new data in Excel Workbook

Wonder if anyone can help, we have a .xlsx file, we have it setup so that only one person at a time can edit the workbook.
When a colleague edits some data and saves the change, I go into it but cannot see the new data. I then do the same but she cannot see the changes and neither can a 3rd colleague. In effect, whenever any one
makes a change in the workbook, no one else can see the new saved data that has been added.
The work book is not protected. It is stored on a server, all users are running Office 2013 apart from
1 who is using 2003, but it doesnt matter as even if a change is made using office2013, another office 2013 client still can't see the change.
It doesn't seem to happen with any other workbooks.
Tried open and repair which didn't work. Also tried saving a new version of the workbook, this works for a while but then the issue comes back on the new version.
Any ideas, as currently we keep having to save new versions of the workbook.

What's the extension of this particular file ?Try another file format to test this issue.
Did you get any message when try to save the document? Also does this problem happens when use the 'save as' option within Excel to save the file?
Also try to download the excel file to local driver, update the Excel file,then upload it to the server.

We have a new iPad Mini. I cannot save a new Bookmark. In Safari, I go to "Share" and select "Add a Bookmark" yet when I click on the Bookmarks icon, my saved Bookmark is not there. Am I doing something wrong?

We have a new iPad Mini, and I'm having inconsistent results using Bookmarks in the Safari icon.
For a long time, on the iPad, I could only see five items under the Bookmark icons and the Bookmarks Bar was empty.
Occasionally, in Safari, the iPad would pick up and display all of the Bookmarks from the Safari browser on my iMac.
Other times, there are only a bare few Bookmarks available on the iPad, the Bookmarks Bar goes away and I cannot save a new Bookmark. It looks like I can save one, but I cannot find it after allegedly saving.
Then, all of the Bookmarks will come back and I can save a new Bookmark again. We can't figure out why all of the Bookmarks will show and then they won't.
I want to think this involves iCloud some way, but for right now, I'm stumped. Perhaps we're just too inexperienced and haven't come around the learning curve yet.

No, I see the three areas at the bottom of the Bookmark area that you refer to, but that also highlights an issue. When I want to save a story to my Reading List and click on Share then "Add to Reading List" then go back to look at what is stored in the Reading List, my recently-saved item is not there.
I looked thru the History tab and the Reading List tab and have been in the Bookmark tab. But even when I Save a Bookmark, that newly-saved Bookmark does not show up in the Bookmark area.
But then again, the next day (and actually just in the last half-hour) all of the functionality came back. When I look at the Bookmarks, suddenly, again, all of the Bookmarks that are on my Safari browser on my iMac are now there, and I can now Save a Bookmark.
It keeps coming in and out and that is what is driving me a little nuts.
