Cannot toggle "Access on Lock Screen" in Control Center Settings

I noticed the other day that the Control Center was disabled from accessing it from the lock screen. I went into Settings-->Control Center to turn it back on and I discovered that the "Access on Lock Screen" option is grayed-out or locked such that I cannot switch it on/off. I have no idea how this happened and for the life of me I cannot figure out how to "unlock" this option so I can view the Control Center from the lock screen. Help?

Help!!! whilst i can see how it is quicker to access music from the lock screen via control centre it doesn't appear to work correctly
when returning to the control centre from the lock screen after a few minutes listening to music it works fine i.e. the track you were listening to appeas there
my issue is that if you return to the control centre after not listening to music say for a few hours or overnight it does no return to the track you were listening to and decidess for itself that its in shuffle mode. very frustrating

You can try the standard fixes:
Try:

Hello, when I go into settings on my iphone 4 and click on iCloud, I get a message on the screen saying "photos for the iCloud account 'iCloud' cannot be accessed. Review your account information in settings". When I click on iCloud in settings it will not allow me to do anything everything is greyed out. Please could you help me? Thank you

Try resetting it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then releasing.

Access on lock screen toggler locked

Good evening
Strangely a few days after upgrading to iOS7, and with all working correctly, i cant anymore access system options (Control Centre) from the lock screen - notification centre still works fine from the lock screen, but not control centre. Im only able to access it after unlocking the phone.
Logically i thought this was something that my yougest daughter changed in the system settings, but my susrprise was that this option in settings is now blocked, without the possibility of changing.
My wife's ipad is working fine, but both my iPhone and iPad have this issue..
Has anybody came around this problem?
I have my secure emails from my employer in these devices, can it be from that? Just strange it worked fine in the beginning and suddently changed...

Many Thanks for your question.
Whilst I can see that this question was posted a year ago, I do have a solution that may fix it as it has not been resolved.
This question as it is not detailed makes it hard for me to understand your problem.
If you have an iPod Touch version 4 you need to update to iOS 5 or better and then you can slide up from the screen to locate the camera.
If you have an iPad 2-4, iPod Touch 5 or iPhone 4-5S you can update to iOS 7 and then slide up from the bottom of the lock screen to locate the camera.
To update to iOS 6-7 go to settings, general and then software update then click on update/install to install this update.
To update to iOS 5 go to the App Store and then in updates iOS 5 should be there same deal - install and download.
iOS 5 gave us the opportunity to use the camera from the lock screen simply by sliding up. However iOS 5 required us to click on the button.
I look forward to hearing from you with regards to how this issue was resolved / if this issue was resolved.

Lock screen music controls not always working?

when double clicking the home button, it brings up the music controls as expected. the problem: if I hit pause and leave the phone alone for more than about 5 minutes, I can no longer access music controls by double clicking. it wasn't this way before ios7. was this change intentional it or is this a bug?
(I know I can play music through the control center by swiping up from the lock screen, but that's not what this question is about.)

I just need somebody to tell me if this is happening on their ios7 device. even if you don't have the answer to how to fix it. I want to know if this is a bug or if it was intentional.

Sleep, Shutdown, Restart, Lock Screen, Volume Control

After booting, after an undetermined amount of time, I am not able to shutdown the computer, reboot the computer, sleep the computer from the apple menu, or the power button. I am able to sleep the computer by closing the lid. I am not able to control volume from the keyboard keys, but can from the menu bar. I am not able to lock the computer via the menu bar (lock icon->lock screen). I am able to lock the screen using "/System/Library/CoreServices/Menu Extras/User.menu/Contents/Resources/CGSession" -suspend command, however, this seems to lock the screen in a different way that clicking the lock screen button from the menu bar. The computer acts like I just never chose the menu items, or pressed the buttons. Before upgrading I did not have these problems. After the computer has a hard shutdown performed, the functions seem to work for a while, but then randomly stop responding.
Any advice?

It sounds like you have a mess Andy. You could reinstall Sno with an erase and install. Or you could go back to Leo via an erase and install or an archive and install. The erase and install alternatives assume that you have a good backup or that you don't mind reinstalling your apps. You'd have to back up your data, of course. I would repair disk before erasing and installing.
Archive and install is a good play assuming that you are not ready to do an erase and install and that you want to go back to Leopard. Note that Apple doesn't recommend going backwards this far (i.e., going back beyond a current major version, say, going 10.6.1 back to 10.5.7) via Archive and Install. But, regardless it is a way to get back to Leo and to pave the way for an erase and install of Leo in the future. Note that if you go backwards, then you will not be able to preserve user and network settings--which is a good thing. Fortunately, there is a way to extract anything needed from a prior user home folder. [Here is the explanation|http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2196]. Even though you don't want Sno any more, it would be nice to have a bootable clone of your Sno installation on an external for safety purposes. Also, I would repair disk and permissions before archiving and installing.

Lock Screen transport controls erratic

On iOS 7, more often than not, the transport controls (both on the lock screen, and on the control center) do not work while the device is locked. This even extends to attempting to play/pause using a click on the in-line mic on the earbuds. It's incredibly frustrating. I don't want to have to unlock my device to pause it. Is anyone else having this problem? Any advice?

Locked screen music controls doesn't want to work for 'remote', Why?

When the screen is locked and you double tap on the home button, basic music options display, it's the top dar of the music app. This function works perfectly with the music app but the remote app by apple to control iTunes doesn't seem to be compatible, it seems stupid but possible. I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything, and that its not just me and my iPad.

I know how the remote app works and how the locked screen works .But that's exactly what I said, the remote app will not control anything on the iPad. It only controls the iTunes library on your computer.
it wouldn't matter if you could get to the remote app with screen locked - even though you cant because it will not control the Music app on the iPad.

I was able to swipe from the bottom of my screen to view the control center after updating to iOS7. But now the function doesn't work and the turn on/off option within Settings is now grayed out and cannot be changed.

IPhone 6 no camera access from lock screen

iPhone 6 with iOS 8.1
When I try to swipe the camera icon from the lock screen, then camera app will almost open and immediately closes upon release of swiping finger. Thus, I can't access the camera without unlocking the phone. Is this a privacy setting I am missing?

Setting Lightroom's preview size to larger than screen resolution is guaranteed to slow things down. I have a dual monitor system whith Lightroom showing the loupe on one screen and the grid on the other. The screen sizes are 1920x1080 and 2560x1440. Following your practice for previews would bring my system to a crawl and I have an entry level workstation.All my previews are of standard 1024x768 in size. The only delays in viewing come when Lightroom is asked to display an image where there is no preview. Once the preview has been created, browsing is near instantaneous.
I beg to differ! The reason is that a preview can be used for any size, which is smaller than that of the preview. Scaling down a preview can be done with little or not loss in quality compared to getting the full resulution and scale that down. Scaling up is not possible.
In your case, you will not use the previews of 1024x768 at all for full screen display. Instead you will force L3 to create bigger previews the first time you open the photo. You could try this by generating the standard previews for new imported photos before you start browsing. Then try to browse. You will probably get the "Loading" message, which indicates that the preview was not used and another one with higher resolution will be made. Then try the same experiment, setting the size of the standard preview to 2048. If, and only if, the size of your display area is not more than 2048 pixels wide and you display a photo in lanscape orientation, you will be able to browse without delay after generating the standard previews.
If I understand your setup correctly, you display the photos in a window of 2560x1440 pixels. I suspect that only 1:1 previews could be used for that. I think Adobe should increase the maximum size of the previews to a value larger than 2048, so that you are not forced to use only the 1:1 previews.
I agree, that when the previews have been generated, browsing is near instantaneous.

IPhone 5s camera app won't open and crashes from lock screen and control menu

Hello, I recntly got a Black iPhone 5s 16gb and it was working fine. Then sudenly the camera app started crashing after i took photos. Soon later the camera app wont open at all and if i try opening from the lockscreen the phone just reboots. Ive tried just resetting all settings just off the phone and nothing happened, so i decided to restore my iPhone to factory settings and still had no luck. I also had a problem with the flashlight it stopped working aswell (went gray on control menu) and all flashlight apps wont even. I also found out that my snapcat front camera (selfie camera works) and there is no 'swap button.
This is the second time Ive been suffering from a camera issue the first one was ery similar the shutter wouldnt open because there was no memory, but now ive got 9.1GB free so this cant be the problem. Other reviews i have read state that the phone has a hardwear issue and need to be replaced.

FIX FOR REAR CAMERA AND FLASHLIGHT!!!
I also had the same flash and rear camera problems as everyone else but I figured it was a software problem.
To fix the flash/flashlight, simply download the flashlight app. The one everyone used before iOS 7. The flash should work immediately.
To fix the rear camera go to Settings > General > Restrictions. Enable restrictions and turn the Camera off, then take the restriction off. Check your camera, it should work immediately.
Hope this answers a lot of questions and saves a bunch of money due to Apple's failures.
