Cannot transfer any contaent through itunes to the iphone
Guys can anyone please help me how to transfer content through itunes to iphone. I did follow all the steps on forums to do so but i got an error that "unable to read or write the memory of iphone" i am having 2.0.2 as FW and using itunes 8.
What do you mean "retrieve"?
If you mean previously purchased music, then you cannot, unless you are in the U.S. Then you can use the recently released icloud ( beta version).

There's an iTunes button on the main page for that show. If that isn't working perhaps you'll tell us what error messages you see or why you cannot buy what you want.

When you the iphone, not the computer, when I open Itunes and click on podcasts, any podcast I choose doesn't list podcast episodes. When I search for a podcast then click on the icon all it shows is a link to reviews and "more from this provider". The list of episodes has disappeared. I've tried several different podcasts and they are all the same. Please help! Thank you very much for your time.
P.s. I have done a full restore through Itunes and it didn't fix the problem. Almost like a setting has gone wrong somewhere...***SOLUTION FOUND***

Bought music through iTunes on the iPhone, but music gone
I purchased an album ($7.99) from my iTunes app on my iPhone 3G before the iPhone update OS4. I then pluged my phone into the computer and did the update to OS4. Now, all my music is gone, and no where to be found on my iTunes on my computer.
To my surprise, my phone didn't have the tracks in purchased menu anywhere. The only record I have of the transaction is the receipt.
How can I get my music back?I will try and establish contact with the geniuses. Ty J
I suppose I have an issue with their download policy. Buying songs entitles you to download once. It's up to you to back up your stuff. Not like lala.com (RIP) where purchased music remains in your account to play at will whenever, wherever you are. -
IPhone 4 cannot update or restore through iTunes
Dear all,
I have a iPhone 4 16 GB, bought in September of last year.
I havent updated the phone in a while, and since a couple of months I am trying, and after downloading the update through iTunes, i get the message: Cannot reach the server.
The same happens when i try to restore the iphone through itunes.
The iphone is entirely original so no jailbreak or unlocking.
I am not a pro, so if someone could help me in dummy language, i would owe you my life haha

modem firmware: 01.59.00it seems that itunes can't connect to the apple servers. This is usually caused by your firewall. Turn it off. If turning it off doesn't help or you don't have a firewall, goto this site:

They don't expire. As far as anyone knows Apple IDs live on forever - if you forgot its password use https://iforgot.apple.com. Good luck with the answers to whatever security questions it asks.

Right! That's the reason you do not create a new Apple ID.
As far as Apple is concerned a new Apple ID is a completely different user, with absolutely, positively no access to anything available to any other Apple ID.
Concentrate your efforts on resetting the password to your old Apple ID. It has not expired, and is the only way to use all your existing iTunes purchases, App Store purchases, computer authorizations... etc. Forget about the new Apple ID you just created. -
Can anyone help please. I cannot transfer any more photo files to my iTouch as the facilty has "frozen" on my computer and will not let me scroll up or down.
My computer is working perfectly in all other aspects - I simply cannot transfer any more files.
My iTouch is also working perfectely except for this probem and II don't want to reset my iPod as I will probably lose everything on it - ie Contacts - Addresses etc.

Since updating my iTunes I no longer have any controls. iTune covers the entire desktop and I cannot add from my files. Prior to updating I had a perfectly good iTunes which would allow me to stories for including on a iPod.

Take the following steps:
1) while connected to wifi, toggle off then back on the Show All Music and iTunes Match options shown in my original post. Important: I did this step before, but wasn't connected to wifi, and my music disappeared. Subsequently, I connected to wifi and turned off and then back on those options and everything came back though it was grayed out and my only option was to download music.
2) To get streaming over cellular back, go into Settings>General>Cellular and scroll down to the "Use Cellular Data for:" options and make sure the iTunes option is set to 'On'
The above steps will bring back the streaming capability which seemed to go away when you update to 6.1. It didn't ACTUALLY go away, but something about the update toggled off the iTunes option in step 2 above.
I did a final test by turning off wifi, opening Music app and selecting a song. It played successfully without downloading! Crossing my fingers, but I think I'm good to go!

When I compose and send a mail, it gets placed in Outbox and I get a prompt stating something like "relating the message is not supported". Even if I compose a newest age, it says the vey same thing. I just cannot send any response through my mail account. Can anyone help with a solution?
You haven't set up the SMTP (outgoing) mail server correctly. You probably didn't enter your user ID and password for the outgoing server. They are needed even though it says "optional".

Cannot download any apps through the CC desktop app, it just hooks up. We have a team subscription and a member of the team can download apps perfectly. What do I need to do?

Reset the system
You can reset the Mac's parameter RAM and SMC.
Reset the resolution
Start by resetting the Mac's parameter RAM. If the display does not come up, was previously set to an unsupported resolution, and still results in no video:
Start up in Safe Mode.
From the Apple () menu, choose System Preferences.
Choose Displays from the View menu to open the preferences pane.
Select any resolution and refresh rate that your display supports.
Restart your computer.
See if that resolves the issue and gets your video playing again.
