Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

So I got a new MacBook. I was looking through it when I got it and opened ichat and then canceled out. Now when I open it up there is a Bonjour account but it wont let me set up an account to actually use it and talk to people. How do I get it to work? Everywhere I look for help it says it is suppose to direct me to an automatic set up to make a .mac account or something...I am so confused! Thanks!

Hello I have lost my serial number for adobe photoshop elements 13. Bought from John Lewis last month. I did have it installed but had to uninstall but cannot find the any of the packaging etc plus did not register. What is the best way of getting it installed again/replacement? Thanks
Do you have the receipt? If you have proof of ownership, you _may_ be able to persuade Customer Support to help you out. I imagine you would need to scan and email that proof if it works at all.

I recently downloaded the iCloud/iTunes Match.. both of which I still have no idea how to use.. my songs began automatically downloading somewhere on my iPhone.. there are alot of songs in my iTunes Library on my MacBook.. and I didnt want all of them to get downloaded to my iCloud/iPhone..how do I start over and choose what gets downloaded? Also, I have purchased several songs from iTunes Store that did not get downloaded to my purchased list.. for example: I purchased 2 Katy Perry Songs, only one was uploaded to my phone..why and how do i fix it? When you subscribe to iTunes match, you cannot selectively choose tunes to add to it, it's either or nothing. When you then enable iTunes match on your iPhone, none of the tunes are downloaded to your phone, you simply get a list of everything that is available in your iTunes library and the ability to download them as and when you want. -

No, no one can do that. You need to try restoring it:
Placing your device into recovery (DFU-Device Firmware Upgrade) mode:
Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the
other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds
until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
* If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the
Sleep/Wake and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off,
release the Sleep/Wake and Home buttons.
3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the
device. The device should turn on. Note: If you see the battery charge warning,
let the device charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some
charge, and then start with step 2 again.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
When this screen appears you can release the Home button:

Boot to the Recovery HD:
Restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND and R keys until the menu screen appears. Alternatively, restart the computer and after the chime press and hold down the OPTION key until the boot manager screen appears. Select the Recovery HD and click on the downward pointing arrow button.
When the menubar appears select Terminal from the Utilities menu.
Enter resetpassword at the prompt and press RETURN. Follow
instructions in the dialog window that will appear.

If you cannot do the above then try this:
1. Boot to Safe Mode by restarting and after the chime press and hold down the COMMAND-S keys until a black screen with white type appears.
2. At the prompt, type the following commands pressing return after each command line:
/sbin/fsck -yf
If you do not receive a "Filesystem OK" message then repeat this command until
you do. If after seven tries you still do not receive a "Filesystem OK" message,
then the system is corrupted and needs to be reinstalled.
mount -uw /
cd /private/var/db/netinfo
mv local.nidb local.old
rm ../.AppleSetupDone
shutdown -r now
The second-to-last command above will cause OS X to think that the operating system is newly installed, and when the new owner starts up the computer it will send him/her to the startup wizard where he/she can start a new user without reinstalling.
This last method does not actually change a password. It simply removes the user accounts and lets you create an initial admin account as if the computer were new out of the box.
How to reset the OS X password without a startup CD:
Reboot into Single-user Mode. Enter the following and press RETURN after each command line
1. Type fsck -fy
2. Type mount -uw /
3. Type passwd <username>

Your entire second paragraph is so confusing I am going to ignore it.
But I may be able to answer your first and third paragraphs, which seem to address the same question.
I wonder where your iPhone states it was backed up yesterday. I am going to assume that you see this under Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup.
If that is true, then the backup from yesterday is in iCloud. The one and only way to restore an iCloud backup is to do this on your iPhone:
Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings
That will cause your iPhone to begin a setup process. As part of that process, assuming you enter the same Apple ID you used when you created the iCloud backup, you will be offered the opportunity to restore from it. -

To restore from an iCloud backup you have to erase the phone and start over. To do this, go to Settings>General>Reset, tap Erase All Content and Settings, then go through the setup assistant again and when given the option, choose Restore from iCloud Backup. There is no other way to do this.
Be sure you phone is connected to wifi and your charger as this is likely to take some time to finish. -

Are you saying that you contacted Apple support and they instructed you to backup and restore your iPad? Or do you mean that you picked up this information from an online support article? If you spoke to an Apple rep or received these instructions via email, contact them again for further help.

Migration from PC with MA did not end. Had to shut down MacBookPro. After restart no new user was created. Can't find the transferred data (35 GB). Would like to delete it.
iTunes is required to initially activate the phone. Back when the iPhone 3G was sold, you would take it out of the box and see a "Connect to iTunes" screen. She HAD to connect to a computer in order to begin using the phone. Does she remember what computer this was?
