Cannot transfer music nokia 5800xpress music

I have Ovi installed, i am able to sincronize photom contacts and messages but no risul with music.. apparently i can transfer music on my phone, it appewrs so on the computer but when not usb connection the music is not on the phone anymore.. I tried the update of the music list but it doesn't seem to work.. HELP PLEASE

Same problem here. After I installed Ovi suite it seemed to be working just fine - it synchronised my contacts, photos and music. Then it installed some updates. When I wanted to add some music a day later I just got an error message (files cannot be copied), and it's been like that ever since. It claims there is no music on my phone (bulls**t) and refuses to copy any more files. Other options (contacts, messages etc.) work just fine, just not music. If anyone can offer some help, I would really appreciate it.

When I try to "drag and drop" a song, it just does not allow me to do it (circle with line thru it). I should also mention that I just changed PC's as well. I tsnsferred all of the music files from the hdd of the old to the new. After reading some of the other posts, I think this might have more to do with the problem than the switch to itunes 10.6.3?

If you want to use automatic syncing, which is the best way to load content on an iPod, here's how to do it.
Select the iPod in iTunes. There is a row of "tabs" (buttons) starting with Summary. Next to Summary, find and click on the Music. This screen is the Music tab where you tell iTunes how to sync songs to your iPod.
Check the box for Sync Music. If your entire music library fits on the iPod, you can choose to sync Entire music library. Otherwise, you can choose to sync Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres. Then...
Below that, select (checkmark) the playlists, artists, albums, and/or genres that you want on the iPod. When you click Apply, your selection syncs to the iPod. Going forward, any changes to your iTunes library that relate to your selection on the Music tab sync automatically to the iPod, when you connect it (or click the Sync button).
Here's one easy way to set it up. In your iTunes library, create a new regular playlist; call it something like "iPod Songs" (or whatever you want). From your main iTunes music library, load that iPod Songs playlist with the songs you want on the iPod. On the iPod's Music tab, select ONLY that iPod Songs playlist (under Playlists). When you click Apply, those songs sync to the iPod. Going forward, to update songs on the iPod, just update that iPod Songs playlist (add and/or remove songs) in iTunes and connect your iPod.
To load other types of content, such as podcasts and audiobooks, set up the other "tabs."

Make sure the "Sync Music Tab" is checked. If it isn't, when you check it, it will prompt you that you can only sync to one iTunes library at a time. The iPod will have to be erased to sync with the new library.

Cannot transfer music? help!

recently i had to wipe my hardrive on my laptop. as a reult i had to reinstall itunes. when i plug my ipod into my laptop itunes says it cannot transfer music unless i wipe my ipod of all its music first. i've tried physically copying the files from the ipod, tried idump and copypod. but none seem to work. it says that there are corrupted files and will only copy 32/4300 songs!! does anyone have any ideas what i should do??

Apple hopes this happens so you can buy more of their itunes. Otherwise they would've fixed this a year ago when the problem first arrived. I'm in the same boat, too many good and paid for songs...

I cannot put music on my 3gs using itunes. All I get is a no entry sign and a message that says tunes cannot be transferred to this iphone. What am I doing wrong?

Are you using automatic or manual transfer of media? If you never remeber changing it, you are on automatic. You can switch it by going to your iPhone's summary page and unchecking the box mentioning media management. What I can tell you is that you have much more control over your media this way. It doesn't matter if a song is checked or not, to put on music, you plug in, find the song you would like to add, and just drag and drop it onto the name of your device on the iTunes sidebar. You should not be stopped this way. By the way, incase you don't know, hold down Ctrl to select multiple songs to move, and hold Shift to select all the songs between the two songs you select.

So I got the latest Itunes version 11 and I've got a Ipod nano 7th generation. On Itunes they recognize my device but I cannot transfer any songs to my ipod and I cannot play the songs I have on the ipod on iTunes. Can someone help me out?
I've read the forums here and I have tried the view show sidebar option and it does show my Ipod but I cannot drag any songs to it on my macbook pro.

Ok to play the songs on your ipod through itunes I select the idevice in the left hand window and expand it to show my music . Then double click on a song and it plays.
If i want to be able to delete songs and search my iDevice I have to enable Manage Music Manually in the options section of the device summary page

Cannot transfer music after upgrading to Lollipop

Hello,
A few weeks ago I upgraded my Z1 Compact to Lollipop. As if having trouble answering calls and getting the internet to work on my phone wasn't trouble enough, I now have noticed to be unable to transfer music into my phone through any application or program. I've even tried to change the USB slot and wire but the problem isn't in them.
I have tried the following:
-transferring from the PC through "right-click, Send-to, Xperia Z1 Compact"
-drag-n-drop from my music folder into Xperia Z1 Compact / Music
-using MediaGo
-using AirDroid
What might be the problem? I've read that I could downgrade my phone back to KitKat which I'd love to do, but I have no idea how to possibly do that.
