Cannot type in previously used forms with newly installed 9.1 reader

Recently installed upgrade to 9.1 adobe reader.
Now the forms previously typed in cannot be filled with letters or numbers. These forms were from state institutions and meant to be filled out and typed with adobe. I successfully used these forms with the previous version of adobe reader.
The purple band shows at the top indicating the form can be filled. The I bar shows up and can be placed in the blank spaces but no letter can be typed in the forms.
Is this the result of failure of the upgrade software ?
Has any one experienced this problem?
I have only one installation of th adobe software 9.1 installed.
In reviewing the help data on line I noted they indicaed a "security setting" under file/ preferences. I dont know what they are talking about?
Have done the following based on other suggestions .
Changed the preferences changed the PDF/ A mode to "never'
Also now understand the security setting for the document. The document restriction summary show the document to allow "filling of forms fields" along with printing and content copying . Does not allow document assembly and siging.

Was your previous version of Reader earlier than version 9? Adobe abandoned an early version certain technology used to allow people to fill out forms and save them on their own computer. If the forms can be filled out with earlier versions of Windows, then you are stuck. Either the people have to re-enable the forms using newer technology or you need to use an earlier version of Reader. A similar problem creeped up with IRS forms.

Previously used hp genuine cartridge installed black

i have a hp photosmart 6520 printer and i was using the ink that came with the printer and it came out fine. yesterday i went to print and the black ink appeared to be running out so i used a cartrige from my old printer that was 100% full. the cartridge is installed correctly but when i go to print, the ink is very faint and the lines are all messeed up and it barley prints. whenever i go to print there is a yellow warning sign but it wont tell me what it means. it also tells me "previously used hp genuine cartridge installed black" but it still wont let me print! i cleanes the print head, allighned the printer and i tuned off and unplugged the printer. please tell me whats going on and how to fix this.

Regarding Ink alerts and other messages that reoccur after hitting OK on the pop up. I have learned that in some products you need to actually go into the Message Center and acknowledge the messages there in order for the pop ups to stop. Simply hitting OK on the pop up does not terminate the alert. You can Ctrl-Click and highlight all of the messages and acknowledge en masse in the Message Center. Please make sure that we are acknowledging the ink alerts and such IN the message center.
There is also the option of turning the messages off altogether. Go to HP utility, should be in the dock or in the Hewlett Packard folder in applications. In there you have an option for message center, in there you can go to settings in the top right, and then uncheck the boxes for displaying alerts. Good Luck!

I just bought a used MacBook with no install discs for the OS.
I would like to know what my options are for getting the OS.
How much am I going to have to spend to follow the guidlines and EULA?

If you don't have your install disks you can get the two gray install disks by callingApple Store Customer Service at 1-800-676-2775 They can send them to you for about $16 per disk plus S & H. Just give them your serial number and they'll know which ones you need. With the original disks you also get the iLife that was current when your MacBook was bought included on the #2 disk.

Dear Mohamed,
This issue probably occurs due to the application error described in the SAP Note [1456922|https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap(bD1odSZjPTAwMQ==)/bc/bsp/spn/sapnotes/index2.htm?numm=1456922].
When login B1 with incorrect upper/lower cases for the user name (eg. The user name is registered "manager" but login as "Manager"), the user can login successfully but fails to open a certain form window the user has permission.
This issue is planned to be fix in a Patch of 8.8.
As workaround, until the issue will be fixed, the users should use exactly the same user name as itu2019s represented in the OUSR table, with case sensitive user code.

Yes, I have read it. Good information, and it has gotten me close. If I follow what it says, I can get directly into insert mode ... however, update and delete buttons still exist.
Here are the exacts in my situation:
1) created a dynamic page that creates a link generated from the function 'Portal30.wwv_user_utilities.get_url('my_application.my_link','parameter_name','parameter_value');'. Notice no relational operator.
2) created a form that is based upon table 'b'. The value passed to this form by step 1 is a foreign key from table 'a'.
3) created a link object that references form identified in step 2.
By clicking on the link generated by the dynamic page (with a parameter set and no conditional operators set), we go to the form in insert mode but we see all buttons. After your last note I decided to try a new, fresh, Portal generated form based upon table 'b', making the primary key and the foreign key hidden. I modified the link to reference this new form. By clicking the link, I go to the form in insert mode, but ALL buttons are showing, including query, next, and previous, even though some of these buttons are invalid.
I am using 3.07.? We are in the middle of installing 3.08 or 3.09, whichever we can get running first. My dba is out for the week, so I will not be able to upgrade until next week.
Any thoughts you have would be helpful. I am on the verge of creating 2 forms, but I don't want the code duplication if I can help it.

Use Forms with webutil with java plug

I am using oracle 9i forms with webutil, it works with jinitiator but I have problem runiing with java plug-in. I have changed formweb.cfg as follow. It des not work.
It works on oracle 10g rel1 appserver using jinitiator but does not work with java plug.

Synching iPhone with newly-installed iTunes

I plugged in my iPhone to newly-installed iTunes on a new laptop (to synch it) and a message popped up telling me iTunes would take my iPhone back to its factory settings and that I would lose my media etc. Will I get it back? And how?

The content WILL be wiped when you sync the phone. But if you have the library that has all your media in it copied over and you can see it all in iTunes, then you will need to select what to sync back over. Use this to assist with that if needed.

My music from my ipod (shuffle) is not on my ipod anymore after my newly installed itunes on my PC asked me to sync my ipod music, where did it go? My itunes library did not have any songs which is why I thought the songs wouldn't be replaced. I need help ...

- Transfer iTunes purchases to the new computer by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iOS device or iPod to a computer
- Transfer other music by using a third-party progtam like one of those discussed here
Copy music
- WHen everything is on your computr connect the iPod to the computer and make a backup. Do that by right clicking on the iPod under Devices in iTunes and select Back Up
- Restore the iPod from that backup
Note that the backup that iTunes makes does not contain synced media like apps and music.

Cannot open/edit previously saved forms

I just upgraded my reader and now I cannot open/edit any of my forms previously saved. I work in a law office so I can't re do all my forms. How do I open and edit forms I previously saved?

Using forms with a table retrospectively (ipad)

I have a table in numbers that I am using to track my travel budget. I didn't create the original spreadsheet and there's lots of formulas. There's also a lot of data in there now and it's tricky to use as a spreadsheet so I'd like to implement forms.
My research tells me that the reason I can't start a form at the moment is because the table wasn't set up with headers, & turning headers on now doesn't fix it.
Is there a way to start a NEW table (with headers turned on) and import my current data including formulas/values? So far, I've had no luck trying it myself.

There should be no reason you cannot get the headers to work, as long as you fill in a header for every column Even if it is "Calcs 1".
If you must amke a new table, You can make a new table set up with headers and footers then copy/paste the data from the old table into the new one.

Cannot make .war file using tomcat with eclipse and ant

i have made all necesary configuration for deploying application using eclipse and ant for the tomcat server.
when i start the server by clicking the tomcat icon on eclipse toolbar, the message is prompted that "missing application web.xml and using defaults". i have placed the web.xml file in the web/WEB-INF directory of the source project directory.
also when i use ant by right-clicking on the build.xml file and choose Run as ant.. the process creates a desired .war file in webapps folder of the tomcat server but that war file does not works.
where is the error i cannot figure out.
am attaching the code of build.xml for reference.
please help.

So is context.xml actually overwriting the settings found in server.xml?I think so. The way I understand it is the the context.xml file saves you from having to edit server.xml. It is preferred for each web app to do its own config, rather than lumping them all together in server.xml.
And what would be the best way to create the war file? IAt its heart, a WAR is just a zip file with its contents laid out in according to the specification of a web application directory structure.
So the simplest way to make a war file is to zip up your directory structure with a tool like winzip, and rename it to be myApp.war.

Cannot create a domain using VirtualBox with W2012 DataCenter guest OS

Hello there,
I've been trying to troubleshoot this issue for days now and it has got me completely stumped. It's also brought my studying to a grinding halt, which is very frustrating. Any help would be very much appreciated!
I'm studying for MCSA and have built a home lab using VirtualBox. At one point, I had everything running smoothly with a Bridged setup in VirtualBox. I had a domain created with DNS on two W2012 servers. All good so far and it worked a treat!
I then hit a certain exercise in the study book that required creating a forest from scratch so I uninstalled all AD/DNS roles on all servers and tried to configure a forest but now I cannot get back to my prior good state. Every time I try and install/configure
AD DS, I get three errors in BPA results:
1. Enable computer and user accounts to be trusted for delegation
2. Access this computer from the network granted to the appropriate security principals
3. This forest should be correctly configured to synchronize time
Also, when I try to connect to AD Admin Centre, it states: Cannot connect to any domain. Trying to connect another W2012 server to the domain also fails spectacularly.
Having done some research, it seemed like the right network config is very important to successfully setting up a W2012 domain, so I followed this guide to the letter, using pfsense:

Still, no joy and exactly the same errors/issues. Any ideas?

From where are you trying to connect? It sounds like you are trying to connect to these across the network from another machine. In that case, it is a networking issue. Can the remote machine from which you are trying to connect ping the
DC by means of IP address (not DNS)?
corp.contoso.com implies that you created a forest root with the name contoso.com. You could have all sorts of machines in that root, because it is really just a domain. Then, after creating a domain called contoso.com, you created child domain
that was underneath contoso.com, and you called that domain corp.contoso.com. Now, if you had a system in the forest root that had the name corp, with the domain name attached to that, you would have a fully qualified domain name of corp.contoso.com.
That means that you would be unable to create a child domain called corp.contoso.com because that name was already taken.
It would be helpful to have the IP configuration of all machines involved - address, mask, g/w, DNS. Additionally, the machine name and the structure you are trying to create.

Problems syncing a previously-used Z22 with a Mac OS 10.4 iBook

I want to remove the User name that originally was entered in the Z22 and replace it with a new User name to match up with the User name in my iBook and thus allow the file data in my iBook to sync over to the Z22. However, I haven't found any instructions for doing this, either on the Z22 or in the Palm Desktop software on my iBook.
Is it possible to change the User name on the Z22? ... and if so, how?

Perform a Hard Reset on the Z22 to blank it out, and place it back into the "out of the box" condition.
When you next HotSync, Palm Desktop will recognize it as a blank device and will ask you to either "Create a new account?" or "Use an existing one?".
Choose "Existing one" and pick your original device's name.

While pressing and holding the Power button down, tap and release the Reset button in back and continue to hold the Power button down. When the grey Palm logo appears, you can release the Power button.
You should now see the warning page in about 5 languages. Press the UP direction on the 5-way pad to complete the task. Your Palm will reset itself several times as it re-installs the original programs and erases all your previous data.
