Cannot type / use keyboard properly - keyboard bugs!

Please help! I cannot type in the password to unlock my bb.. they keyboard is not typing the correct letter(s) when pressed. I was prompted to type 'blackberry" to continue. and am unable to get the "k" to show up on screen when pressed. I have NO idea HOW to get passed this issue. I have been unable to dowload the software onto my computer. Is it possible to reset the phone?? PLEASE HELP!

Sometimes, rebooting your device (battery pull method) can result in the keyboard acting correctly.
Sometimes, if you connect to your PC and are prompted there for the password, you can then type it on the PC keyboard and unlock the device (as well as reset the incorrect password counter).
You of course must do all of this before you exhaust the maximum allowed attempts. If you fail the maximum times, your BB will wipe itself clean of all user data, apps, etc. and be "like new" again. Of course, if you have a hardware problem with the keyboard, such a result won't help that particular problem.

Cannot type using keyborad with modeless windows with IE5.5.

Have the focus set in the textfield, but cannot type in anything into the textfiled until mouse clicking. IE5.5 and JRE1.3.1_01. This is only happens when running application with browser. Runing application using JBuilder 6, it functions normally. Thanks for help.

Add some javascript to the page that sets the focus to the field, such as
<body onload="document.myform.myfield.focus()">

wireless mouse will suddenly scroll down horizontally and won't stop. when i am on a webpage it will bounce back to the previous page without my doing so. i have tried adjusting the mouse several times, turning it on and off, and now am using my wacom mouse which also seems to have issues with this computer. i have only had this a few months and getting very frustrated.

Can you try a different keyboard to see if the problem persists? Also, you have 90 days of phone support when you buy a mew mac.

I am unable to type anything or use keyboard to type in Firefox. I am using Firefox 18.0 installed on Windows 7.
I am able to Paste into the URL bar and also the Search bar but absolutely not able to type in it.
I have already tried the "reset" option but still unable to type.
Also tried Firefox in safe mode with disabled addons but still unable to type.
Installed a fresh copy of firefox after uninstalling Firefox and deleting the old folder "Mozilla Firefox" from windows. but still unable to type.

Apple Keyboard and Win 8: Cannot type numbers ! Looking for driver or workaround.

I have just upgraded to Windows 8 on one of my Mac Minis. Alas, the Apple keyboard cannot be used to enter numbers in Windows 8 ! Is there a new driver out there that fixes this ? I have been unable to find one but I may have conducted a faulty search.

You may have to wait for the "official" Boot Camp drivers to be released since it's not oficially supported by Mac yet.

I think you might need a special keyboard class for that. I am new to programming and did have a problem with that until I installed two special classes in the JDK bin directory. I'll look them up and can mail them to you if required. Maybe they are not what you are looking for at all!!!, just hope I can assist.

try splitting the keyboard? mine usually shows up when it does that.
what i hate when that happens to other apps like if you use trillian or IM+ i cant paste anything, to go through all that trouble frustrates me.

How does one use keyboard shortcuts when the Text Tool is selected? For example, how do I switch to the Selection Tool when the Text Tool is active? I cannot press "V", as it simply types the letter "v" instead of switching to the Selection Tool.

Is it all applications that these keys don't work?
Also is it a wired keyboard or bluetooth keyboard, either keyboard i'd suggest starting with resetting SMC (helps USB) and PRAM (helps Bluetooth)

Resetting your Mac's PRAM and NVRAM
If it's a USB keyboard i'd suggest trying a different USB port and restarting the computer, for a bluetooth keyboard i'd suggest removing the keyboard from Bluetooth Preferences and repairing the keyboard.

I am not familiar with Citrix Reciever but is it possible it is open or being used in another open app?
Try quitting all apps then try again.
Quit all apps: Double tap the Home button and swipe the app preview page up for each open app
