Cannot uninstall InDesign CC 2014 trial version

I installed the InDesign CC 2014 trial version and now I cannot remove it from my computer. I go to Control Panel/Uninstall Programs and I cannot find it in the list. I looked in the installation folder of the program for some file that allows me to uninstall it and nothing. When I Installed InDesign I also installed the Adobe Creative Cloud which I could remove without any problem but I am stuck with the InDesign. If anybody can give me a solution...thank you!

This should do it: CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3

  • I download the InDesign CC 2014 trial version and it only lasted 5 days not 30?

I had downloaded the InDesign CC 2014 trial version but it only worked for 5 days not 30. Not sure what else to do.

It's a pity but it sometimes happens, for reasons including hardware and network changes, and changing the computers clock. There are no second chances, so I hope you were able to make your purchasing decision within the 5 days.

  • InDesign CS5.5 Trial Version Crashing on Startup

    Hello,
I am experiencing an issue with InDesign CS5.5 Trial Version from the CS5.5 Design Premium suite where shortly after startup the program crashes and gives me the spinning wheel of death(mac).
In both of these scenario, Opening an Existing Document or Creating a new Document, I can create/open the document but then immediately after the document opens into the workspace the application stops responding.
Here is the setup i'm working with:
    Apple iMac (iMac11,3)
    intel core i5 2.8ghz
    4GB RAM DDR3 1333mhz
    ATI Radeon HD 5750
    1TB 7200rpm HDD
    Magic Mouse
    Wireless Keyboard
    OSX Snow Leopard 10.6.7
The system is a brand new system and has all of the most recent software updates for OSX. The only fonts installed are the system defaults and MS Office 2011 fonts.
I've tried uninstalling/re-installing several times and am met with the same results.
Any help or support would be much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    d_rek

I feel like it's a week for crashes and hangs, alas. Well, it's Friday!
The best advise is to  Trash, Replace, Reset, or Restore the application Preferences: http://forums.adobe.com/thread/526990.
If you're lucky, that fixes everything.
Terminology: a crash is when the program actually detects a fault and exits. If you just get the beachball, that's a hang.
Hangs are more difficult to debug, but go to Activity Monitor, select InDesign, and choose Sample Process. Upload the output to pastebin.com and post a link here, and we'll tell you how to proceed.

  • How do I uninstall the CS5.5 trial version?

Can anyone help me with uninstalling the CS5.5 trial version. I thought I had uninstalled it, but it appearst to still be present in my applications folder. I'd appreciate any help anyone can offer.
    Cheers,
    Cathie

When the new version comes in you should be able to simply activate it with the new license key you get. I have never done this, but it is what many others suggest. That means you do not have to uninstall and reinstall. Be sure to do the updates after you have things working.

  • My upgrade to CS6 requires me to uninstall the beta or trial version; how do I do that?

Use the Uninstallers provided to remove the software. Do *NOT* delete the files.

  • I transferred my CS 6 applications to a new computer, and now cannot access Illustrator, only the trial version of creative cloud. How can I access the software I own?

I bought a new Mac Pro, transferred my CS software to it from my old Mac Pro, now I cannot access Illustrator, only the trial cloud version. How can I use the software I have already purchased?

Just to clarify, in case this helps anyone. I transferred the whole CS 6 suite using Apple's migration assistant, and the only program in the suite that could not be accessed except through the trial cloud version was Illustrator. After over an hour on the Adobe support chat, it turned out that I needed to follow the prompts to purchase the cloud version, then type in the serial number for my CS software at a certain point in the process. There you go.

Hi, I just installed the trial version (CC 2014) but it is impossible to me to enlarge the field where the name of the tools-name are displayed (see the attached image). You can see just the very beginning of the words
No way to enlarge the field. You can easily enlarge the window, but not the field with the name of the tool
    any idea? tis in advance

Hm, I thought they had fixed that.  It's a Mac-specific problem.

  • Cant uninstall acrobat 9.0 trial version

    1) I have windows 7
    2) I downloaded acrobat pro trial version
    3) I bought acrobat pro and downloaded via disk
    4) I cannot delete trial version, or the purchased version.
    5) acrobat pro will not work at all and I get an error message that by TRIAL has expired!!!  I bought and registered the program.
    6) I have tried windows install cleanup utility to no avail
    7) Adobe customer support has worn me thin with their incompetence....(they cant fix it)
if  anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm having the same problem, though not with the trial version - the real (Pro) version purchased and downloaded from a CD. I'll be interested in the replies.

  • Can't open InDesign 5.5 Trial version documents and can't open in version 5.1

I downloaded InDesign 5.5 to try and created several documents.  Now I cannot open them in the older version Indesign.  These are important documents and I don't want to have to recreate!

  • Cannot load InDesign CC 2014 - DynamicDocuments Plugin Required

I came into the office this morning and discovered my InDesign CC 2014 wouldn't open and I got this message:
"Cannot load Adobe InDesign CC 2014 because it requires DynamicDocuments. Please install the DynamicDocuments plug-in and restart InDesign."
I then proceeded to unistall InDesign, empty trash, then reinstall via the Creative Cloud App, only to have the error still be there.
    I'm running Apple OS 10.10
    Help,
    Thanks
    Jonathan

Tried this with no results. Still getting the same ""Cannot load Adobe InDesign CC 2014 because it requires DynamicDocuments. Please install the DynamicDocuments plug-in and restart InDesign" message. I've checked and the plugin is inside the Graphics folder.
    And YES, I've rebooted.

  • Uninstalling adobe pdf XI trial version

been trying to uninstall trial version of adobe pdf XI. Keep getting Error 1310 message. Anyone knows how to go about the uninstall?

You either need the install CD or usually just go to the Control Panel>Programs & ... (WIn 7 and above) or Control Panel>Add/Remove Programs (Win XP). Select Acrobat 7 and repair it. You may be able to open Acrobat 7 (it is the related parts of the program that usually fail) and use Help>Repair. I would do all from Acrobat or the Control Panel before trying the CD (Do keep the CD in a safe place in case you need it in the future).

  • ETA for InDesign 10 (2014) Debug version?

    Hello Adobe!
So apparently the new InDesign breaks plugin compatibility and requires a new Debug version of InDesign 10 (2014).
Since we're in the middle of developing an InDesign plugin and we'd like to make it available on the newest version of InDesign, when will the InDesign 10 Debug version be put online to download from the Adobe Partners Portal?

turns out adobe has different prerelease programs... they apparently released the debug version to the InDesign Family Prerelease program, but not on their Technology Partners Downloads site. facepalm. now my company has to apply (again...) for something we're paying 500USD a year and should already have access to. i don't even...
