Hello Obieby,
I know that article below talks about when apps crash, but it is a good resource for troubleshooting apps in general like updating your iPad to removing the app and downloading it again. Let me know if this work for you or need additional support.

  • Unable to update apps on iPad mini. I have even restored the iPad and now I can't download any of my previously purchased apps.

Can someone help me. I am using an iPad mini with iOS 7.0.4 with wifi connection. Have had no problems until recently when I was unable to update apps and then noticed that some apps would open but no data would be available in apps like intelicast and Pinterest. I have restored the iPad and now I am unable to download any of my previously purchased apps.

    1. Make sure iPad is using the latest software
    2. Settings>General>Date and Time>Set Automatically>On
    3. Make sure Time Zone is correct
    4. Reset iPad. Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple Logo.

  • Why is the Pages app for iPad Mini not working?

For the last few days I have been having major issues with the word processing application Pages for the iPad. It is taking a very long time to show me my documents, then it takes just as long to open up documents. Then when it finally opens up the document I have selected; the entire functionality is extremely slow and sluggish.
I turned the iPad on and off several times to see if that would help. I deleted the pages app. I even freed up some extra space on the iPad. None of these things have resolved anything.
If it is at all relevant I am using the most recent version of Pages (especially since I re-downloaded it). I am also using the latest version of iOS 8 on the iPad. My iPad is synched to iCloud. I have a maximum storage capacity of 20 gb (to which I have only used 675 kb). I am using the first generation iPad Mini (which is the very first iPad mini)
    What could be the problem?
Should I reset the factory settings of the entire iPad? I'm at a loss of how to resolve this.

The problem may be due to slow internet access to icloud where the document is being stored and saved.
Try creating a new document which is not on iCloud to see how the performance is.

  • Cannot purchase apps on iPad mini, should be linked to my AT

I cannot buy apps in the App Store says problem with previous purchase....shouldn't my purchases be linked to my AT&T account? I have purchase a few apps with no problem and tried to download a free app, I groceries and is telling me I have a problem with previous purchases.

You can create an iTune and App Store account without credit card details
    1. Sign out of current Apple ID if you are sign-in to one (important)
    2. Go to App Store and select a free app
    3. Tap INSTALL APP
    4. Create New Apple ID
    5. Confirm Your Country
    6. Agree with Terms and Conditions
    7. Fill in your Apple ID and Password (you must create a new Apple ID; don't use your old Apple ID)
    8. Create and answer your secret question
    9. Select NONE for Payment Method
    10. Fill in Billing Address
    11. Submit application for new Apple ID
    12. Wait for verification email
    13. When email arrive, verify your account
    14. Start downloading your free apps

  • Updated apps for iPad 2 (Line & Sketch) for Ink compatibility?

    Hi!
Since the Ink and Slide is built by Adonit for Adobe and is using their pixel point technology it has the same iPad 2 issues (due to the new screen). These issues should be solved by implementing the new Adonit SDK in apps. I wonder what the status is for updating the Line and Sketch apps to use the latest SDK and to make the Ink and Slide compatible with the iPad 2? I am currently holding off buying the Ink and Slide since I want to know if and when this issue is expected to be sorted out.
Thank you very much for your help!
    Kind regards,
    Lukas Arvidsson

To be fair to Adobe and Adonit, this is a problem nobody saw coming, because Apple doesn't feel it important to inform partners of significant upcoming changes in their products. Wacom is in the same boat with the Intuos pen. I felt particularly let down as I bought an iPad only because the new touch apps are on iOS. Air 2 being the most recent, that's what I bought, only to discover (at about the same time Adobe, Adonit and Wacom were discovering it) that none of the pressure-sensitive pens on the market will work correctly with Air 2. I'm certainly not pointing the finger at Adonit, far less Adobe. This is all down to Apple's failure to let developers know about these changes in advance.
The Adonit SDK is currently being worked on heavily. Some mitigation of the problems with the Air 2 has been achieved, apparently, but according to the Adonit blog (http://www.adonit.net/blog/archives/2015/01/05/ipad-air-2/) there is still a long way to go. It may be that a change in iOS will have to happen, too, because it's definitely an issue that affects even finger touch. Wacom's engineers are also hard at work trying to find a software-only solution to what is mostly a hardware problem: http://community.wacom.com/en/inspiration/blog/2014/november/bamboo-stylus-fineline-and-in tuos-creative-stylus-2-compati…
Obviously, as Adonit pushes out changes in their SDK, those changes have to be incorporated into the Adobe apps and then thoroughly tested. Since Adonit doesn't yet know when (or if -- the Wacom guys were pretty sure that any fix would require hardware changes) a complete software fix will be available, you can hardly expect Adobe to do so.

  • Unable to update apps for iPad Air in iOS 8.1

    Unabl

I'Ve had the same problem since I updated to IOS 8. I then updated again to 8.1 still have the same problem. Now my app store icon is telling me that 17 apps need updating but when I try all the apps go into waiting mode. I tried to update 1 app at a time, doesn't work.  I have tried everything, reset, restore, delete apps, reinstall, nothing works. I saw some suggestions regarding the Wall Street Journal (WSJ) app but i don't have that app. Can someone please help?

  • My iPad mini cannot update Apps via App Store about a week, Please help. thank you, Pete

My iPad mini cannot update Apps for a week, please kindly help
I try to sign out and sign in for my Apple ID. Also restart and soft reset but it did not resolved.
    Thank you
    Pete

There are a number of other threads from people reporting a problem with a blank Updates tab in the App Store app - it looks like there is a problem at Apple's end which they need to fix.
Some posts are suggesting that you if you go into the Purchased tab in the App Store app you might be able to update the apps from there, though you will need to scroll through the list to find those with updates and individually update them.

  • Can't download or update apps on iPad mini2,

Can't download or update apps on iPad mini 2, it says 'Facebook could not download this time'.

Reset the iPad and try again. No data will be lost. Hold down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10 seconds until the Apple logo appears on the screen.

hello please help me in my problem in apple id, i cannot connect to my ipad mini in itune store and app store because they find me a credit card but i dont have credit card. what can i do now? i need an answer for this problem. thank you

I would suggest that you buy a visa or mastercard gift card and put a few dollars on it and use it to access the store.  Just add money to it before you want to buy something from the store and it will act like a normal credit card for you.

  • Cannot download apps to iPad since iOS 5.1 update.  Get error message "An unexpected error has occurred"

cannot download apps to iPad since iOS 5.1 update.  Get error message "An unexpected error has occurred"

    Hi mike,
Seems like a frustrating problem! Try restarting your device, and trying again. If that doesn't work, in settings, under store, tap your apple id at the bottom of the page, and then sign out. Sign back in again, and try again.
Also, check you have enough remaining space on your iPad for the app you want to download, you can do this in settings, then general, then usage.
I also reccomend buying the app in iTunes on your computer, and then syncing it to your device.
Let me know how you get on, and I'll get back to you with further help if needed,
    Nathan

  • IPAD Mini Freezing up in installation mode as it is installing Update iOS 8.1.3 . I cannot turn off the iPAD Mini .  How do I resolve this problem?

iPAD Mini purchased for Xmas 2013 is freezing as it tries to complete the installation of the iOS update 8.1.3.  The screen his frozen on the installation mode and I cannot turn off the iPAD Mini.  How do I turn off the iPAD Mini and resolve this problem?

Try a reset, hold the power button and home button until you see the apple then let go. Also, it is iOS 8.2 that you are trying to install since that is the current version. I had no problems updating my mini today so hopefully yours will go well too.
