Cannot update certain (not all) BOMs

In order to transfer the correct BOM from engineering to production, I need to upgrade certain (not all) BOMs, when I encountered this error message:
"Serial or batch managed items cannot be defined as backflush [Message 3566-28]"
Anybody has a clue of this error? Thanks in advance.

The problem is caused by the BOM which "Issue Method" column is "Backflush" and locked (in gray). Other BOMs' "Issue Method" column are "Backflush" but not locked and can be changed to "Manual".
I found a workaround but I am not sure it's risks and impacts:
1. Copy the "Item No." field
2. Clear the "Item No."
3. Try to update, of course you will get an error because blank "Item No."
4. Paste the "Item No." field you just copied
5. Update again, now you are able to proceed
6. The "Issue Method" has been automatically changed from "Backflush" to "Manual"
7. Now you are able to update the BOM as what you want
My question is:
Anybody can tell me if this workaround is legal? I mean any negative effects may occur to the system?

I've downloaded the 5.0 update and not all the new features are there. Just the news stand, reminders and videos. I double checked on the update and it says it's up to date. What should I do now?

Hummmm, you might not be missing anything... From what I understand, really the only new visible add-on apps type programs are Newstand and Reminders. The Notification Center seems to be about how your info and alerts are pushed to your screen and you control that thru the phone settings>General>Notifications, the panel is accessed by swiping downward from the top of your screen. Weird I know, should be more obvious. Enjoy!
Don't forget, you can now use the volume button on the side of your phone to take photos. I really like this!

Cannot update certain programs

I just installed Production Premium CS4 on my computer. I downloaded the updates manually from the Adobe website directly because of a previous bad experience with the Adobe Updater. I installed some updates, then I installed Camera Raw 5.5. Now, after installing that, I cannot install any other updates. All of them show an error report asking me to send an error report to Microsoft when showing 'Loading Setup'. I am unable to install the Photoshop 11.0.1 update and Premiere Pro 4.1 update. Even using Adobe Updater does not work. I have rebooted the computer and itstill shows the same error. What should I do now? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I also have a similar problem. Installed CS4 on clean Win 7 machine. Installation went well, but cannot install the updates including 11.01... Did you find any solution?

Error message iPod cannot update b/c all of the playlists no longer exist

Hello. I have been getting this error message. "Songs on the iPod "MAR(the name of my iPod)" cannot update because all of the playlists selecting for updating no longer exist." And my playlists are still on the left side in my iTunes. They do exist. I have a feeling ths might have to do with the fact that on vacation the person I was visiting gave me a gift of putting all of his music that would fit into the external hard drive part of my iPod, and for the past week or so I have been putting that music onto my 40 GB portable hard drive at home. I suspect I took a vital folder out of my iPod by accident. Right now I have the folder iPod_control if I open my iPod up in My Computer. Am I missing something? Right now my iPod is empty because iTunes made a composite playlist last week and I deleted it thinking I could get my real playlists back. Can you help me, or reccomend a site/someone who can? Thank you.

let's just doublecheck this. folks get this message if they have "automatically update selected playlists only" selected in their itunes "ipod" preferences tab. so bring up that tab ("edit > preferences", click "ipod" while the ipod is showing up in the source list), and do a playlist by playlist crosscheck of the playlists selected in that tab, and the playlists showing up in the itunes sourcelist.
is there any playlist selected in the preferences tab that isn't showing up in the sourcelist?

"ipod cannot update - file not found" after getting new ipod

i had my ipod replaced today at the apple store because of a bad HD. Seems like the one they gave me was brand new...anyway after following the restore/charge directions, i went to go plug it into my dock and Itunes is telling me it can't update the ipod because the file is missing. i definitely have the latest update installer, and i even tested playlist syncs with the new ipod and it definitely updates songs/playlists, but after that it gives me the error message about not being able to update.
i ran the last updater, and it says my ipod is up to date.
what's going wrong? i must have done something wrong.

or not....i spoke too soon!
it's doing it AGAIN. after it started updating after restoring all was well, it tried to add my whole library which won't fit.
when it add's a "library selection" instead automatically, it fills up my ipod so that the photos won't update.
then when i re-mount the ipod, it gives me the same old error message again about missing the file required for updating!?!?!?
i wish my preference to "manually add songs" instead of syncing the library would save in Itunes when i restore my Ipod. it's making it impossible for me to get things working properly after restoring....

Cannot update b/c all playlists no longer exist

I cannot update my iPod. This is the error message I continually get when I try. 'Songs on the iPod "Aimee's iPod" cannot be updated because all of the playlists selected for updating no longer exist.' I can see the playlists on the iTunes screen but when I tried to update it removed all songs from my iPod completely. I have tried reinstalling the iTunes software and the problem persists. Does anyone have any ideas. I have searched the Apple support website and cannot resolve. Thank you, in advance, for any assistance provided.

Cannot update certain apps

I'm having trouble in Maverick getting certain apps.
This consists of:
IBooks 1.0.1
ITunes 11.1.3
Compatibility thing for Raw cameras 5.02
OSX 10.9.1
Remote desktop 3.7.1
When I press "update" or "update all" it tells me that some updates have to be completely downloaded before they are installed.
If i press "Download and start again", it restarts and we're back to the same problem.
If i press "Not now", it looks like its downloading for like half a second and just stops
What to do ?

Install OS X 10.9.1 only, and then, if OS X 10.9.1 was installed properly, install all other updates.
If you cannot install OS X 10.9.1, download and install it from the Apple website > http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1715

Msi z87gd 65 cannot post! Note all was fine before

Ok so I read other gd65 forums and I still cannot find a solution.

Intel core i5 4570
Msi z87 gd65 (brown pcb)
Gtx 760 evga 2g acx
Corsair 760 ax

Here's my problem.
Comouter worked for 4 days till now
Did not update bios or anything
Debug led shows 1.0 then e.0
Used a internal speaker. 3 long beeps
Does restart automatically once or sometimes twice.
Corsair ax 760 is working fine
Everything was set up and was working for about 4 days. Until I decided to install a 140 fan in my case.
Next thing you know it will not post... I did not even touch the motherboard with my hands or anything! Anyways I figured it may have been something to do with moving my case on its side. So I reseated rams
I have 4x4gb corsair DDR 1600 vengeance. Used slots 2/4 even 1/3 different rams ect.
That didn't work so I decided to reset bios. Switched bios nothing.
Took out vga used intel hd. Still no post. Unplugged all sata fans except CPU cooler. Nothing
Took out motherboard but it on a cardboard box. Still nothing!. 8 pin and 24 pin is connected all the way that clips.
I know there's another backup bios chip but I will not use that yet.
Did not check the CPU pins will not unless I return this motherboard.
Is it really the bios that's the problem?
Let me know if I have any other options.

Worst case, something failed. This could be MB, CPU or PSU.
You are stating the PSU works. Did you test it on another computer to verify ? Why did this start happening when you added the fan? Have you tested the fan on another computer/PSU to check if it perhaps got a short or is faulty and was the cause of the problem ?
Check your 24pin connector again. It may be that the end 4 pins that one can normally separate from the connector plug may not be seated properly.
RAM. Test with one mem module only. Test each one individually.
Don't you have a hard switch to select BIOS A or B ? If you do have, then switch it to the other BIOS and retest.

Firefox no longer loads certain, not all, much used websites.

Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs. 
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.

Cannot update certain CS6 programs

One of the iMacs in my lab (out of 32) will not update six of the programs in Adobe CS6; Fireworks, Flash, InDesign, Prelude, Premiere and SpeedGrade. I have uninstalled the entire Creative Suite and reinstalled it, as well as reinstalling the Creative Cloud Adobe Updater, no luck. Here are screen capture of the messages I get. I even tried downloading the updates from the Adobe site and running the update from there. Can anyone help?

When exporting an album to Snapfish or Facebook, not all the pictures will transfer. The same photos are missing in each export. Help.

I have version 10.7.1 with 4 GB's. All software is updated. Not all the jpegs will transfer to a web site. And it's the same pix not exporting, not a random selection each time. All have a rating of "not rated or better".

Are the images inside stacks? Only the Stack Pick goes over.
