Cannot update credit card information

I have been trying for two days to update the expiration date on my credit card, I keep getting "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed" I have restarted my computer, iTunes is updated, I have tried a different card, tried on my Mac desktop and iPad... help!

  • Updating Credit Card information problem:

    For the past 26 days (4 days of CC remaining) I've tried updating my credit card information as I've received a new card from my bank. Now this shouldn't be a problem but every time I've followed the steps on the creative cloud website, I end up waiting 24 hours just to find out that the process has not worked. Through various phone calls and contact support chats I was told to phone my bank and see whether the problem is because I have blocks preventing me making payments to certain places. However, they then told me my card is fine, and has nothing that may stop making a payment, (the same as my first card which worked fine for 3 months).
    I then go through the very tedious process of updating my card information and waiting in the contact support chat system for someone to tell me the same thing, every single time. I really do not know what to do. I need CC for my current course at university, and with only 4 days left I don't want to be told to wait another 24 hours to see whether my payment has been accepted.
    The only thing I can think is different or odd is the fact that every time I update my information I am not asked to verify via password. Although on the walkthrough for updating credit card information it says this is the last step.
    If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it, this is truely my last option.

  • Can't update credit card information

    I have updated the credit card information for our cloud account multiple times over the last few days.  I have been on hold for almost 2 hours.  Chat is unavailable. 
    I have tried all the instructions, including clearing the cache and using different internet browsers.
    This needs to be addressed immediately.  I can't have my entire business negatively impacted by this anymore than it already has.
    Please someone get back to me.
    PS - I have been on hold for over two hours now.  Seriously, not appreciating this situation at all.

    Well.. I posted this in another thread. I am posting here as well so that ppl who face this issue can get some help.
    I had the same credit card processing issue. Called the Adobe Helpline in my country. Was able to speak to a CSE after spending some horrible minutes with the IVR. He too faced the same problem when tried to update my credit card details. He admitted that there is some internal issues in the website. Finally he did something else and said that the details are updated now (I am guessing that he used another internal channel / portal to update my payment details). Assured that the processing will take place in next 2 hours and there shouldnt be any issues after that.

  • Cannot update credit card

    iTunes will not allow completion of my credit card update.  For whatever reason, it's not allowing me to add the 3-digit security code from my new VISA card. 
    I don't know if anyone else had a similar issue.  In the mean time,  I can't buy anything in iTunes.  Amazon is getting 100 percent of my digital download business now. 

    HI, updating crdit card information can take anywhere from a couple of minutes to 72 hours. Best just to wait and see. Make sure you e-mail apple if the problem continues. iTunes processes a lot of things so it's best to be patient.

    Something is wrong with the credit card feature in itunes. I recently tried to update to a new credit card and itunes repeatedly either asked me to insert a proper 3-digit security code (which I did) or that the credit card number was not valid for that type of card. I repeated this for several different cards (both Mastercard and Visa) to the same result. Now it won't even let me use the original card entered because if says my account info has changed. I have checked the support site and gone to the user info update page on the web, but everytime I complete the first page it says that it can't save the new info (I have tried this using both Internet Explorer and Mozilla). I have also tried PayPal as a payment option but itunes repeatedly says my validation is unsucessful, this has all happened since last updating my itunes software (6.0.4.2). Please help!

    Login to store/site to update credit card.
    No link or page on which to update credit card.
    How do I update credit card if there is nowhere to do it?

    1.- http://www.adobe.com
    2.- Click on 'My Adobe' (upper right corner underneath the search box)
    3.- Once you are in 'My Adobe' look under My Products and services and click on 'My subscriptions and services'
    4.- Find Creative Cloud membership and click on Active on the right side
    5.- A new pop-up window will come up and you can edit away just click on EDIT BILLING.
    or you can call Adobe's horrible customer service and hope they understand the reason you call about and all of this in the hope that you got thru after waiting for hours at a time, their number is 1-800-833-6687

    If you are getting an error message due to payment information on credit card, change the payment method to 'None'
    Then you can enter new card info, or get iTunes gift card to use.

    I am trying to order a Skype Number and I need to update my credit card as it's expired.
    On the order page I click "Change" and am taken to a page where I see five cards listed, and the message:
    You've currently saved the maximum number of cards allowed for your account. To pay with a new card, remove one of your saved cards from your stored payment details.
    Fine, I go to the stored payment details-page, however only my recently expired card is listed. Not the other four. I remove it and try to make the order again. Same thing happens. The card chosen by default by Skype is the one I just removed. When I click change I am back to the page listing cards that I used several years ago. No link to remove them. Go back to the Stored Payment Details-page which now says: You haven't stored any payment details yet.
    Seriously? So now I cannot delete the old, "hidden" cards, and I also cannot add a new card because I already reached my "quota" of five cards on file, but which are actually not there....
    How can a bug like this even be possible from a huge company like Microsoft?
    So now I can't make any purchase at all with Skype. Nice.
    And by the way, I am indeed in China, but when I visit an English version of Skype, having an English operating system and browser and I click on the support-link, you do realise that it's bad form to redirect me to a 100% Chinese version of Skype with no option to change language, right?
