Cannot update pages trough itunes

Hello,
I have an iphone 4s and my wifi is not working. My phone came with the notification that there is an update for pages. Normally i update my apps trough itunes but it says that there is no update for pages. Is there anyway to fix it? I have ios 7.0.3 and the newest itunes as well..
Thanks

If you have 5.0 or 5.0.1, update through your device and not through iTunes. Settings > General > Software Update.
If you proceed to update with iTunes, try disabling firewall and try again.
Also know that millions are probably downloading at the same time, so you might just try again later.

I don't believe the iOS7 update was the cause for your issue. I have three devices all updated and they all show the Import To drop menu in Image Capture as shown below.

  • Cannot update Apps in iTunes 11.1.4

I cannot update my Apps in iTunes 11.1.4. I have 30 that need to be updated and it keeps prompting me to enter the password without giving an error. The same login pop-up keeps coming up. I reset my password and know it is correct. I tried to sign-out of iCloud and iTunes Apple ID, then clear cache in iTunes. This does not help. Another thing that may help is that when I go to the iTunes store, the Apps page is blank, but I can view all other content within the iTunes Store. I have a Mac running Version 10.9.1 that is from 2009 (?) 2.26 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo, 8 GB Ram. Thanks.

    Hello matt_rudo,
There may be an issue with iTunes' ability to connect with the iTunes Store. I'd suggest following the steps outlined in the following article.

  • Cannot update iPad with iTunes 11

Cannot update iTunes 11 giving me message on my computer that I need to upgrade with 10.6.3
    Help!!!!

Ckuan's advice is good, here's a small supplement beacuse you said "10.6.3".
I think what's happening is you really meant "10.6.8", which is the minimum version of Apple's Mac OS X operating system that you need to run iTunes 11.  So I suspect you're really behind in lots of software.  (The current version of OS X is 10.8.2.)
Anyway, presumably you have a Mac and need to get it up to at least OS X 10.6.8 to run iTunes 11.
    Good luck.

  • Cannot update pages for second user

We have 2 users on our iMac and my wife updated pages to 5.2, when i opened pages it asked if i wanted to update but i was in a hurry so said later. now i cannot get it to update.   any suggestions?
    thanks

There is one Pages v5.2 available on your iMac for both of you. And, if you had the previous Pages ’09 v4.3 installed, it was moved to /Applications/iWork '09 folder, and is still available for use. Two Pages versions installed will produce challenges.
We are preconditioned to believe that a higher version must be a better, improved solution. Pages v5 is a complete rewrite/redesign that offers bugs and about 100 less features than v4.3. It is intuitive which is the better solution to use going forward. This decision can be fortified by reading the reviews in the App Store, and the endless posts here about Pages v5 issues.
The problem introduced with Pages v5 is an entirely new .pages document format that is incompatible with prior Pages applications. For instance, lets say that I have Pages ’09 v4.3 running, and double-click a Pages v5 document to open it. Here is the dialog box that results:
If the preceding document had been created with Pages ’08 or ’09, then the double-click would open it in the already running Pages ’09 application. If no Pages application were running, the double-click would attempt to open the document in Pages v5. If it is a .pages document created by Pages ’09, Pages v5.2 will open it without any warning about the earlier document format. As soon as you edit and save, it becomes a version 5 document that causes the above dialog when attempting to reopen it in Pages ’09.
When you have mixed Pages application versions and documents, it changes your workflow habits. You can now only open Pages ’09 documents with either a right-click on the document, and then choose Open With > Pages (4.3). Or, use the Pages ’09 open file browser.
I dragged the Pages ’09 and Pages v5.2 application icons to my Dock from their respective locations in /Applications/iWork '09 and /Applications. These Dock aliases make it somewhat easier to work with disparate .pages documents.

  • Cannot update individual pocasts, iTunes 9 bug

Hi all, I think I have found an iTunes 9 bug
when I go to my podcast list in iTunes, usually I can right click on a podcast and get a long list of options including "Update Podcast" and "Show all available episodes" etc
however if I do this with a podcast that is currently empty, has no downloaded episodes etc, all I get in the drop down list is "Show Description" and Delete"?
so now I can only update a podcast if there is already an episode downloaded for that podcast?
annoying bug, can anyone else replicate this?
ps. obviously the Refresh button at the bottom will update all of the podcasts, but sometimes its nice to just refresh one or two individual shows

I am also experiencing this same issue. I cannot "Update Podcast" for individual podcasts that are empty.
The only workaround I've found is to re-subscribe to an empty podcast, download a file, and then make sure I keep at least one.
Not ideal, so I hope Apple provides a fix.

  • Cannot update Pages (and some other apps)

I go to the app store. I log into my account. I click the "purchased" tab. Pages is on my list of purchased items. I click the "update" button..... it then tells me " You have updates available for other accounts" and "To update this applications, sign in to the account you used to purchase it". I have only one account, and have only used that one account to make purchases. Same thing happens when I try to update through "updates" and other ways. If i didn't buy it on that account, why would it be showing as purchased on that account? Makes no sense to me.
I got Mountain Lion for one reason only. So my Pages and Numbers would be on iCloud for my iPad and iPhone to see. And that is the one feature I can't use until I am able to update Pages and Numbers........
    Any ideas?
    Thanks!

Did some more searching.... Turns out you have to trash the apps and redownload...... worked perfect!

Can you post a link to your child or template page and tell
    us what you have
    changed that didn't propagate?
Here are seven common mistakes that will result in changes
    not propagating
    from Template to child -
    1. Rename the Templates folder
    2. Move the Templates folder to some other folder level in
    the site other
    than root level
    3. Move a template out of the Templates folder.
    4. Make changes to an editable region of the template (which
    will not
    propagate)
    5. Assume that template changes can be uploaded to the server
    without also
    uploading the changed local files
    6. Corrupt the site cache so that the link between template
    and child page
    is broken
7, Improperly create your child pages by simply opening the
    template,
adding page specific content, and resaving the template with
    an *.html
extension rather that its *.dwt extension. (you can tell if
    this is the case
by looking at the code on a child page - if you see anything
    like <!--
TemplateBeginEditable... then this is what you have done). If
    you *have
done this*, then recreate the child pages (in DWCS3) using
    FILE | New > Page
from Template, select the template and click CREATE.
The 6th problem can be repaired by using SITE | Advanced >
    Recreate Site
Cache, and the six others can be fixed by just not doing
    them. Have you
    done any of those?

  • I cannot update or reinstall iTunes. Says I'm missing iTunes64.mis?

Arrrggghhh! I somehow got a corrupted file so now I cannot repair, uninstall, update, or install a second version of iTunes. It doesn't matter what product I'm using, I'm trying to update the iTunes version on my Windows laptop. It will only go so far then say it's missing "iTunes64.msi"  I have tried to look for this file on a desktop PC that has iTunes loaded and cannot find the file. Any suggestions that do not include restoring my laptop to original configuration?

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

  • Cannot update or uninstall iTunes due to missing iTunes.msi file

I am trying to update my itunes 10.4.1.10 to the newest version. However, when I try to update or manually uninstall iTunes I get the following error message. I am logged into the admin account and on a wireless network. I've looked for the iTunes.msi folder in my iTunes folders and program folders but cannot find it. Also using Windows Installer CleanUp Utility is no longer an available option since Microsoft is saying that it damages files as well as fix them. Any ideas on what to do???

Also using Windows Installer CleanUp Utility is no longer an available option since Microsoft is saying that it damages files as well as fix them.
Nonetheless, it's the best game in town for this particular kind of trouble. So, just in case, I'll run you through my standard instructions for an itunes.msi variant (just in case).
Unfortunately, this sort of trouble has gotten more complicated to deal with ever since Microsoft pulled the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from their Download Center. First we have to find a copy of the utility.
Let's try Googling. (Best not to use Bing, I think.) Look for a working download site for at least version 3.0 of the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (The results from mydigitallife and Major Geeksare worth checking.)
After downloading the utility installer file (msicuu2.exe), scan the file for malware, just in case. (I use the free version of Malwarebytes AntiMalware to do single-file scans for that.)
If the file is clean, to install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you've downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove".
Quit out of CleanUp. Restart the PC, and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

  • I cannot update or uninstall iTunes with Windows XP.

I have an older OS (windows XP) and have been trying to update iTunes.  I keep getting a message saying that Bonjour is on another network that I do not have access to.  It then tells me that iTunes.msi is not available either.  Now I am not able to sync my iPod.
I have tried to uninstall iTunes to fix the problem, but I cannot do that either.  I get the same message about this missing Bonjour.  I would really like to update, or at the very least get rid of this version to get the newer iTunes.
If anyone can help me figure out this problem, I would appreciate it more than I can say.
Thank you in advance (especially if there is some simple solution that I have either not seen or tried )

  • Cannot update or Download iTunes 8.02

The automatic updater says I need to upgrade iTunes and Software Updater. When I agree it just returns to the start page. If I try to update from iTunes, the software downloads but errors out at the end of the install with a error message: 2324. I am using Vista 64bit
    Thanks for any help.

Have you tried downloading the installer, saving it on your PC and running it from there? Sometimes that works when the updater doesn't.

If the the error was a Windows installer error, you can look it up here.

  • Cannot update pages, keynote or numbers on my MAC

I recently bought a Macbook Pro and had Apple install pages, keynote and numbers to my computer, but now when I try to update these applications it tells me there are other purchases available for another account? As far as I know I only have the one AppleID, but apparently my computer doesn't think so. Any suggestions?

You need to contact the Apple store where the software was installed and ask what account they used for the download. It sounds like they used one of their house accounts for the download instaed of having you use your Apple ID. You cannot get around this issue because Apple IDs cannot be merged so the only way to get the updates that are available is to log into the acoount that installed the software. The messages will not go away until the updates are complete.
