Cannot update software because of forgotten code

I cannot update software without my code to do so. Does anyone know how to retrieve this? Or do anyone have a solution?

I'm using a MacBook Pro 13". My operating system is OS X 10.8.2.
I want to update Adope. The problem occurs when I have to type in the Mac administration password. I have to do so in order to accept that the program can be installed on my Mac. I have tried everything, but it seems as if my code doesn't really work. It keeps denying although i'm almost certain that it is the correct password.
Do you understand what i mean? Not sure that I explained it well.. :s
Are there any way to retrieve my code without erasing everything on my MacBook (I've lost my installation CD) or are there any way around the code and installing Adope?
Thank you for your answer and willingness to help me. I really do appreciate it!

I can't update software because a message appears that I have to log with the same Apple ID that was used to purchase them: iMovie, Garage Band, iPhoto, but those apps came with OSX Lion.
How can I get the "original" Apple ID?

  • I tried restoring my Ipad 2 and when it was trying to update the new software, this thing pops up saying an error has occured cannot update software. My ipad is still stuck on the apple logo.

I tried restoring my ipad 2 and when its trying to extract the new software this pop up appears on the screen and says ERROR: cannot update software or something. My ipad still doesnt return to the home screen. It's still stuck on the apple logo. I only had this for a year. Is it broken?

If your ipad had no problems before, then it is your computer then may fail you. Try to restart computer and ipad.Try to disable antiviruses. If that happens again and you have apple store close by you can set up appointment, or try another computer.

  • My phone is full and cannot update software. What to do

my phone is full and cannot update software. What to do? What software can I get rid of? Can I delete Contacts I only use on my computer?
Since pictures fill up a lot of space and I have them on my computer should I delete most of them from my phone?

what difference does it make if I update my iphone via my computer or through the iphone itself? How does that effect the available space problem?
When you update over the air, the file is downloaded, then expanded on your phone...you need free space to do that. When you update using iTunes, the file is downloaded/expanded on your computer, then applied to your phone. That's the difference.
Either start deleting stuff...or update on your computer.

  • I cannot update itunes because system cannot find the data itunes64.msi. What can I do?

I cannot update itunes because the latest version cannot be deleted (system is looking for itunes64.msi and cannot find). Update is going reverse. I tried to install the full version, but there is the same problem. What can I do?
When I try to deinstall the old version by windows, the same problem

Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility from the following page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page):
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
To install the utility, doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file you downloaded.
Now run the utility ("Start > All Programs > Windows Install Clean Up"). In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

  • I cannot update apps because i do not have iOS what should i do?

I cannot update apps because i do not have iOS what should i do?

You are confusing iCloud storage (the storage plan you purchased) with the space on your iPhone.   To update over the air you need space on your iPhone.  The 13Gb are available storage space in iCloud.  The available space on your iPhone is shown in settings, general, usage.
As modular says, the solution is to update by connecting your iPhone to the computer you normally sync with.

  • My phone X6 Cannot update software

I live in Thailand.  My phone is X6, software version is 20.0.005. I checked from Nokia website  last version is 32.0.002.  But I cannot update new version.  I Updated by phone or by Nokia Ovi Suite with correct step.  I could see the other software program that can be update but device software version 32.0.002 not available, Could see only version 20.0.005.  I think that software device version 32.0.002 is not upload to server for services  (For Thailand).

Availability of update depends on Region / Product Code.. Also if thye phone is Network locked then the update is possible only after an approval from the operator...so, it seems there is no update made available for your device yet.. and you will have to wait and keep checkin..

  • Cannot update software or new OS X

    Hi,
I am currently running Version 10.7.2 on a MacBook Pro less than a year old. I want to upgrade to Mountain Lion, but every time I run the software update to update my current system in order to download Mountain Lion, it gets as far as the end and then it says it cannot update because it was corrupted during the download. Even if I try to update iTunes, it does the error straight away.
It is so frustrating! I have restarted, shut down my computer etc. Nothing works. I also tried to download Mountain Lion but nothing happened, which is why I thought updating the software would.
Any ideas how I can fix this? I have had no issues updating previously.
    Thanks

Download and install the Lion 10.7.4 Combo Update from this link, and install it on your computer.
OS X Lion 10.7.4 (Client Combo)
After that is all done, run Software Update to make sure you have the latest updates for your system, THEN go into the Mac App Store and try to download Mountain Lion.

  • Cannot update software from version 1.0 after factory reset

Just did a factory reset on my first generation, year old, perfectly working AppleTV. Then wanted to update the software from ver. 1.0 to current. For two day now, when choosing "update software' the response is that newer software is available but the download spins and spins with nothing happening. Seems like the network connection must be good or there wouldn't be knowledge that newer version exist. Eventually a message states that the software is not available now try late. As I said, I have been trying for 2 days. What's up with this?

Self-repaired! It was appear that the quality of reception of the ATV is problem because it cannot hold a connection long enough to download the software. I took an 11n airport express which extends my airport network and plugged the ATV to in by Ethernet. Result. ATV showed up on iTunes. Upgrade to 2.2 downloaded. And since I only stream, the system seems faster and more solid, so far. Amazing.
