Cannot update to 10.4.6 from 10.4.5
Did the automatic update. The latest java, itunes and OS X 10.6 all failed. Downloaded them individually from apple and still no update. The updater fails right after you hit the install.

Before you update run some system maintenance as outlined here: Mac OS X 10.3/10.4: System maintenance.
Then download and apply the Mac OS X 10.4.6 Combo for PPC. After this installed successfully, Repair permissions and run software update again.

Bill@VT has the correct troubleshooting procedure though. Download the update and try updating locally rather than through the ARM updater. -

I’ve installed 9929 version by ISO image... In my pc it runs wonderfully and I’m really happy with it.Yesterday I tried to update it by windows update service to the newer 100041 but I received back this message
after the installations stopped at 9%:
“Couldn’t install technical preview your pc’s speed is less than 1 GHZ, so you won’t be install and run windows 10….”

I cannot update my 2gb ipod nano from firmware 1.1 to the new 1.3. It keeps giving me an error. Any ideas?

I've tried to reset the ipod and restart the computer with no luck. The first time i hit update it seemed to be downloading the update but then i didn't seem to install.
I'd rather not lose all my songs and have to reinstall...that would suck....but what if i don't update my firmware? doesn't seem to be hurting without.I have read of a fix in another forum but haven't tried it...
"Yep, I think it's a bug in iTunes 7. When you click Restore or Update, a progress bar window will come up. While the progress bar is scrolling, unplug the iPod (usually it will eject itself but if it's still showing the Do Not Disconnect, make sure the Activity indicator isn't on and unplug anyway). iTunes will continue to show the progress bar as if the iPod was still plugged in... weird huh? Now once you've unplugged the iPod, you will hear the "ding-dong" hardware disconnected sound. As soon as you hear this sound, plus the iPod back in. It will display the Do Not Disconnect screen again but this time it will actually restore or update. This bug only affects some iPods (My 2GB nano and 60GB 5g iPods are affected whereas all my other iPods are mot...-_-')

Recently when purchasing free apps from store, I put in my password, then it takes me to my account to enter the security code for my card I do this and I have even re-entered the new card and it's still not accepting it.
Hence I cannot update or buy until I do this. The same thing happened with my daughters account and had to use her dads card.Please can someone help me. I cannot update IPhoto or IMovie- Error message from App Store

I cannot update IPhoto or IMovie. I have the latest OS. I cannot use these Apps either- they both ask me to update to the newest version, but when I try to I get an error message saying that the App store could not complete my request and to please try again later (null). Any ideas??Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:

Server 2012 R2 cannot update from 2008 R2 WSUS server
Our WSUS server is on a 2008 R2 VM. Updates for all 2008 R2 and lower servers, and Windows 7 clients work fine. I have one Server 2012 R2 in production and it cannot check for updates. It gets 800b0001 as the error code. I can
click on check for updates from Microsoft, then it does reach out to the Internet, download and install updates.
I also tried from my Win 8.1 laptop and I get error 8024402C. Any idea's?I found in another thread the fix.
In regedit go to HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Update Services\Server\Setup and change "wYukonInstalled"
from a 1 to a 0.
Installer succeeds.
However now the Update Services console does not work. I get a connection error.

I cannot update my apps on my iPhone 3. I think it's because I've discovered I have 2 Apple ID's, the original one for iTunes from 2009, and another one I used more recently. I think I must have changed my Apple ID to the more recent email, but my iPhone does not accept any password for the new ID. I have tried changing back but cannot. I have reset passowrds on both ID's 6 or 7 times, but that does not work either. I read I cannot undo an Apple ID, so I have 2, but they are mixed up. Help?
Did you purchase or download the apps with your old ID? Apps are tied to the ID that is was purchased from.
If it is a new app you bought with your new ID, you can go into settings - appstore- apple id and then log out. -

My Creative Cloud is always empty. I've had this trouble for over a year. I cannot update Lightroom because of it and Photoshop does not update properly. I cannot open the RAW files from my new camera, a Nikon D750. Each time I want to update, I have to talk to you and delete things and reinstall things but it doesn't fix it properly!
I have contacted Adobe before and always have to go through a tedious delete stuff and reinstall, then next time it happens all over again.

I am having difficulty in updating my iphone 3GS software from version 4.1 to version 5.1. I tried using my phone but cannot find the update software button even when I have gone through the right process by tapping SETTING, then GENERAL, yet could not find Update Software button. I mean the update Software button is not seen there.
I tried using itunes, yet no way. Each time I connect my iphone to my laptop itunes software comes up automatically and alerts me that a newer version of software for my iphone is available, It usually gives me the option of Download & Install or Download Only. Whichever of the option I click a message will always appear telling me that the iphone update server could not be contacted, then asking me to make sure that my network settings are correct and active or try again latter. Sometimes, when click on the Update button on my itune software. It will display an error has occured.
I have even tried to Restore iphone from itunes, yet the problem keep repeating itself.
