Cannot update to 2.0 from 1.1.4 on an iPod touch 32B!
After completely downloading 2.0 several (6 or 7) timestimes itunes presents the error-message says something like "the network doesn't answer in an appropriate time. come back later". I tied this on 2 different computers. Can anybody help with this issue? (iPod touch 32GB, release 1.1.4)? Well, I'm charged for it, but I cannot use it??

thx a lot - that worked. But I wonder about the following: when I connect the (turned off) iPod to my PC via USB, the iPod "wakes" up and is turned on then??

My daughter's ipod touch does not allow her to receive her email messages from her gmail account on the ipod touch. What do I need to do to have this work. It was working before I updated my iphone to icloud. At the time our accounts were linked since them I have seperated our accounts.

I have been reading the instructions but no where does it say how to sync the calendars between an older iPod Touch version that can't go on the cloud with the newer one one that does. I have not even been able to sync my calendar from my old iPod with my desktop. I need my old information to merge with the new info I have manually added to my new iPod calendar. I find the iCal very confusing.

I updated to a newer version of iTunes and now my ipod touch does not show up as a device in iTunes. There is no 'Devices" category on the bar at the left

Try another wifi network. If it still doesn't work, try #2 and #3 in link below. If neither work, you most likely have a hardware issue.

When i scan my ipod from the application named find my ipod touch 4 it simply shows location unavailable while that of my cousin's ipod touch exactly shows the same location..... Why does that happen???
When you go to the Google Maps app on the iPod does it correctly find your location? The iPod's locations service uses the location of the a nearby wifi router to locate te iPod. However, not all routers are in Apple's database and as of yet nobody here knows of a way to add routers to the database.
