Cannot update to Keynote 5.1.1

I have Keynote 5.1
when I go to software update I get a message that my software is up to date.
I downloaded 5.1.1 and tried to install it and get this message
What gives?  Can anyone help?

Thanks, randers4, this is what happened:
I have two Internet providers: Nexicom and Bell Canada. I typicaly use the Nexicom connection with DNS servers from DNSResolvers.com, a DNS server provider from Toronto. It was with Nexicom that I had the above download problem.
I then switched to Bell Canada, keeping the same DNS servers from DNSResolvers.com, and I was finally able to download the upgrade, which installed well. Does that mean that there may something wrong with Nexicom? Could they be blocked by Apple or something like that?

    try goind to apple, support, type keynote update in the search box and download the version you need.
    Also one or more of your third party apps could be the prolem. You can try uninstalling them one at a time till the download goes, then re-install them.

    You can't merge accounts or transfer iTunes purchases from one Apple ID to another: but there is no problem about using two IDs.
    Use your iCloud ID for iCloud for syncing email, contacts, calendars, bookmarks, and PhotoStream.
    Use your other Apple ID as before for iTunes, iTunes in the Cloud and iTunes Match.
    There's no conflict about doing this, and you won't even notice as Keychain will log you in with the correct ID in each case. It's also better security not to have your iTunes login also your email address, given the number of complaints about hacked iTunes accounts.

    You need to contact the Apple store where the software was installed and ask what account they used for the download. It sounds like they used one of their house accounts for the download instaed of having you use your Apple ID. You cannot get around this issue because Apple IDs cannot be merged so the only way to get the updates that are available is to log into the acoount that installed the software. The messages will not go away until the updates are complete.

    I upgraded to Yosemite on my iMac (27 inch late 2009 model). Now, the app store says I have updates for the subject three apps; however, when I try to update with my usual app store Apple Id, I get a message saying "Update Unavailable with This Apple ID ... This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled."
    I know I have a valid installation of these apps. I upgraded the apps to the '09 version before without issue.
    I did try with my other Apple Id used for iCloud but that didn't work, nor did I expect it to.
    Has anyone solved this issue as yet?

    I contacted Apple Support and they worked with me to resolve my specific issue. I do not think there is a universal resolution. They had to get information about the retail package of iWork that I had purchased to then assist me in upgrading via the App Store.

  • I cannot update my Keynote to v.6 on the AppStore, because it asks me to log in with the Apple ID I used to buy it.

    The problem is, I bought the whole iWork suite a long time ago, before the AppStore was launched, so I did not use an Apple ID. I could upgrade previous versions just fine, but I can not any more. I hope I do not ned to repurchase them ....

  • I have updated to Keynote 6.1, but I still have 5.3 and I cannot open the file I just created in 6.1.

    I have updated to Keynote 6.1, my App Store says I did it 2/1/14, I just created a new slideshow in 6.1 tonight, saved it all the way through while creating it, and when finished, saved it one more time, and closed the file. I treid to open it again, but I get an error message stating I need a newer version of Keynote to open the presentation. I check the "About Keynote", and apparently I still have 5.3 and I cannot open the file I just created in 6.1. I try changing the file to open with 5.3, but it won't do that either! The App Store won't let me re-download it. How do I get 6.1 back??? I need to reopen the file I just created.

    I am finding that when I launch keynote from the Docking Station and it opens Keynote 5.3, so I command Q and close it. I then go to Finder, go to the Keynote slideshow I created in 6.1 and now cannot open, and CAN open the slideshow from Finder, which it actually open the file in Keynote 6.1.
    I emptied my Trash.
    What the heck is up with this???? And how do I fix it??

    Under my apps updates its asks to update pages, keynotes and numbers. I press update and it will imediatly proceed to this app cannot be updated. For all three apps. It then asks for a product key to 'purchse' it. I alreay purchased the apps when I bought the laptop.

    You're describing the behavior of these apps as versions prior to the Mac App Store. MAS versions do not require product keys, serial numbers or passcodes of any kind. Tell us about any previous versions of these apps or trial versions that you have had on this Mac.
    If these apps appear in your MAS Purchases list, then the way to solve this is to delete these apps form your Mac, all vestiges and then you should be able to download the most recent versions from your purchases list.

  • Error message iPod cannot update b/c all of the playlists no longer exist

    Hello. I have been getting this error message. "Songs on the iPod "MAR(the name of my iPod)" cannot update because all of the playlists selecting for updating no longer exist." And my playlists are still on the left side in my iTunes. They do exist. I have a feeling ths might have to do with the fact that on vacation the person I was visiting gave me a gift of putting all of his music that would fit into the external hard drive part of my iPod, and for the past week or so I have been putting that music onto my 40 GB portable hard drive at home. I suspect I took a vital folder out of my iPod by accident. Right now I have the folder iPod_control if I open my iPod up in My Computer. Am I missing something? Right now my iPod is empty because iTunes made a composite playlist last week and I deleted it thinking I could get my real playlists back. Can you help me, or reccomend a site/someone who can? Thank you.

    And my playlists are still on the left side in my iTunes. They do exist.
    let's just doublecheck this. folks get this message if they have "automatically update selected playlists only" selected in their itunes "ipod" preferences tab. so bring up that tab ("edit > preferences", click "ipod" while the ipod is showing up in the source list), and do a playlist by playlist crosscheck of the playlists selected in that tab, and the playlists showing up in the itunes sourcelist.
    is there any playlist selected in the preferences tab that isn't showing up in the sourcelist?

    Additional things to try.
    Try this first. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.

    If it's an Intel Mac, you can upgrade it to Mac OS X 10.6.8.
    If it's a PowerPC Mac, you need to use these instructions and/or iTunes Match to put content on the iPad.
